Nature eco lodge vacation rentals in United States

This was a dog-friendly "cabin" that was also a place I'd absolutely consider and recommend even if you don't have dogs. The location is basically a small cabin off of the host's house, and has every typical amenity of a home except for a washer/dryer. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, appliances, even some non-perishable food items and spices. There was fast and free internet. And Patricia was proactive and responsive in communicating with us about our check-in and the readiness of the unit. The place and the host were both great. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Sag Lodge. Jessica, the caretaker, was very responsive when we had any questions or concerns. The lake in front of the cabin is just stunning with a private dock for easy access. We were able to see so many loons during our stay out on the water. Wonderful canoes for use, the sauna was excellent, and the set up of the rooms and living room/big deck worked well for our group. One thing to be aware of, the lodge is next door to a public boat launch, so it is not as private as some homes on the water, but still plenty beautiful and serene. Overall, highly recommend this spot!

The lake view was spectacular! Great, location...not too far up north!

was perfect for what we were looking for. Bev responded to all my questions very fast and was very accommodating to all of my requests. There was plenty of parking for all of our vehicles.

We loved our stay in stable 5! It was short but very clean and comfortable. We loved the peaceful location away from the city and people!

Exactly what we needed: clean beds and warm showers in between 2 big hiking days on the AT’s Triple Crown! Dina helped us find a contact to act as a shuttle driver for our hike, made recs for where to grab dinner, and set us up w/ a salvation pot of hot coffee ready prior to our VERY EARLY departure for our hike! Thank you Dina! It was fabulous!

We love this place. It’s our second time staying here with our family. So close to everything but still remote enough to have great views. Prefect size our our family of 4. We have talked about renting out the other rooms and having a family reunion her since the common areas have large lounge spaces and communal kitchen. (Though, they is also a kitchen space in the rooms). Great value too.

Tara was amazing with her communication and we truly felt immersed in the forest staying at her place!

Great find for the price! Kids enjoyed game room, swimming pool with sprinklers, playground. It could feel kinda noisy from the road right next to the space, but coming from the busy city it didn't bother us and we were away all the time. The staff was amazing, answered a lot of questions, shared the recommendations about places we inquired. Will be back if it is going to be available!

The furniture is unique ( hand made). beautiful. The king size bed was amazing, very comfortable and new mattress. It was very relaxing to stay at Kathleen's place. Deffently will book at the Lodge again. Also, the people sharing the others room very friendly and felt Conformable.

I highly recommend staying here. What a perfect vacation! We got lucky and had the whole place to ourselves! Although the restaurant downstairs was closed, we were able to find some great food close by. (We tried Flagstaff General Store, and the Looney Moose.) While sitting out by the water, we could hear the loons singing to us every night. Then we could wake up for an early morning paddle in the kayaks. While driving around, we found the road that goes up Quill Hill, and the view did not disappoint! We also were lucky enough to see a Moose nearby. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience; Our room was very clean, and comfortable. We only wish there was a microwave and fridge. But if you plan accordingly you would be ok.

Every thing for our stay was 5 Star!!!!! We will be definitely be contacting Kate and Sergs's first, next time we are in that area. Thanks so much for making this a very restful stay! Sincerely, Dave and Jodi

Short but lovely stay. Beautiful property and spacious home. Comfy bed, great porch, very sad the weather wasn't better because the land has so much to offer and it was rainy and then chilly so not very condusive to outdoor fun. Would have loved to play in the gorgeous pond and go for more walks with the ducks but will have to save that for another visit. Very accommodating and welcoming hosts. Good restaurants less than 10 min away. Just wish we had more time to relax and enjoy the beautiful area.

The Sheffield was great! From check in to check out! Susan was the best hostess! Even with my hectic schedule with an early rise, she was always there to greet me with a smile and a hot to go coffee. Was so very kind and welcoming to my dogs! We’ll definitely be returning next time we have a sheepdog trial in the area! 😊

Danielle was very responsive and a great host. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The exterior of the building needs a little work, but this was exactly what I needed for a quick stay in the Adirondacks. I would stay there again without hesitation.

Enjoyed our weekend stay at Joe and Ashley’s place! Clear instructions, responsive communication, easy check in, clean and comfortable space. We appreciated the dog friendly details and amenities. Bed was comfortable. Easy drive to downtown Jim Thorpe.

We had a great four night stay at Allison’s “Chalet.” Our room was clean and comfortable, location was perfect for skiing at Whiteface. Allison is a super host - extremely responsive, offered helpful restaurant suggestions and her homemade muffins for breakfast each morning were a great way to start the day! Good value too.

We got here and it was very easy to find and clean. There is a list of places to eat and visit inside along with phone numbers and hours. It’s also pretty close to restaurants and places to swim and fish in the lake. I had a few other questions and the host was super helpful, friendly, and quick to respond. If we’re in the area again we will definitely stay here.

We made a last minute reservation here and it was everything we needed - a place to relax and clear our heads. The rooms all walk right onto a patio overlooking the lake with a gorgeous view! A very peaceful stay - and the scones in the morning were amazing! Will definitely be back!

This was our second time staying here. It is a beautiful property and very peaceful. No WiFi which was not a problem. You will need to bring bath cloth, bath towels and hand towels.This wasn't a problem for us we always bring our own towels when we travel. Other then that we had a very nice stay. Molly and Andy were very easy to communicate with. We were able to extend our stay very easily.
