La Casita de Chanche (Playa del Carmen - Tulum)

Gabriela Rating, 5 stars2 months ago
The perfect place. When planning my trip I didn't want to be in tourist trap towns. Chan Chemuyil was relaxing. Lucía was very communicative with any questions we had. Her Uncle Charlie lives next door and received us We felt very welcome. I would recommend having your own vehicle because you are 20min from Tulum, and a few minutes drive from beaches and popular cenotes. The best part is that there were 2 smaller cenotes within a 5min walk from the house. We loved it! Just be sure to respect the regulations which include not wearing bug repellent or sunscreen when using the cenotes. There are signs that emphasize this. Do your part to protect the wildlife. Recommendation. If you have not heard of Xcaret parks, Xel-Ha is a 5 minute drive away. Entry is roughly $120US 3 meals included. Google it, you will not be disappointed.

The place is beautiful and having the cenote a few steps away is a super plus! Larisa is a very good person and helped us with what we need. The cabanas are beautiful and is a place to disconnect and enjoy nature, I highly recommend Larisa and her AIRBNB!

Family-friendly Eco-house | Meli-Melo Tulum Jungle

AndrewRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Added a trip to Tulum onto a family holiday to get a bit of adventure and this place really delivered! From the moment you turn into the bumpy road you feel like you are embarking on something a bit out of the ordinary. The room is even better than the pictures and the whole communal space is REALLY special and just wish we had longer to enjoy the vibe, the nature and company of the fabulous host Quentin who was amazing. Recommend bringing a bit of shopping if you want to cook as had missed that there is a communal kitchen available!

Cavelands, Cabaña Sol

RoselyneRating, 5 stars9 months ago
The most beautiful place we have to stay, the air is very fresh and the location far from mass tourism. There are several cabins, we went for the new one and we had a delicious meal prepared by all the people present. It was a memorable night! We met beautiful people down there, it's a bit like a small community, don't go if you're not in the spirit of sharing and communication, here is happiness it finds in the little things. The common sanitary facilities were never a concern, we never had to wait for anything, it adds charm to the experience of this shower in the middle of the forest. Nicole, her partner, and son are extremely kind people and always take care of everything you'll need. We can only recommend this place if like we love nature, meet them and help each other! Thousand Thanks!!!

Bungalow Simba🌴 Jungle experience

JaneRating, 5 stars34 months ago
I highly recommend this stay if you’re looking for a vacation that is affordable and not very touristy. It was a joy to live simply, but with the option to go bigger cities that are all close by and pretty easily accessible. Playa Del Carmen and Tulum are both easy and cheap day trips if you get to the highway and catch a collectivo which takes you straight there. The road which leads to the camp is full of wonderful cenotes, most walking distance, some extremely close. Plenty to do, but also easy to just spend the day chilling. People are extremely friendly and welcoming.

I loved my stay at Hiram’s place! It was beautiful, simple, quiet and peaceful immersed in nature. I saw beautiful birds from the Treehouse and I even had the treat of seeing a mom monkey with her Little one in this cute little restaurant near by. Hiram’s place was exactly what I needed after the hustle and bustle of Tulum. It was very quiet except Saturday nights when the whole town breaks into a big party! :) Hiram and his wife were very responsive and generous to all my needs and problems that arose and went out of their way to make me feel super comfortable. Thank you Hiram!! :)

Blue Monkey Chemuyil

JeffreyRating, 5 stars17 months ago
An indescribably visionary and inspired situation. What Alonso and Miguel have created here in the magical forest is something like a sanctuary, a biosphere and sacred site. Only with independent networking possibilities of Airbnb could we have found such an amazing place. Details: picture perfect and solidly constructed lodging. The design of the units allows for seamless existence with the outdoors AND - somehow -complete privacy. The lay out was perfect for our family to lounge, sleep comfortably. The grounds are superb. Infinite care is clearly put into the placement and maintenance of the pool, the countless plants, the paths and the FOUR STORY TOWER FOR nature watching! Really too many features to write, but all were appreciated. Alonso is right nearby ready to share his time and wisdom, knowledge, food...or simply to offer you your space and privacy. This was a life changing Airbnb, the very best the company has to offer.

Boris was very attentive to our arrival and the instructions were clear. Your place is a dream for those of us looking for tranquility and different options. The room was very nice and original. Felipe, the gentleman who was in charge of the accommodation is very kind and attentive, he was attentive to what we needed and prepared a very rich breakfast for us. We highly recommend it, it was one of the best during our honeymoon, and we will definitely stay with him again on our next trips to Tulum.

Sol Casita ∞ Y MasRating, 5 stars14 months ago
There is a 30 peso tax they request that you pay per night when you checkin. If that is in the listing somewhere I didn’t see it. The people that run the place are friendly and it seems many of the guests enjoy the place I even saw some guests extend their stay. Considering you can rent a whole apartment in the area for the same price of a small tube I was not really sold on the value for a long term stay but the novelty is cool and the common areas are great! The day we went it was humid and rainy and the inside of the tube was very damp and humid. Running the A/C didn’t help much because it was either humid or freezing. For a night or 2 I would recommend it for the novelty but for anything long term I would try it out first to see if it is for you long term.

Boutique Jungle Pod - Be immersed in Nature

CarmenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our weekend at the Jungle Pod was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of the Tulum’s Veleta district, the location offered a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Surrounded by lush greenery, it was beautifully designed & comfortable. The large windows allowed me to feel fully immerse in the natural surroundings. The amenities were thoughtfully provided, making my stay cozy without compromising the natural feel. Location is very convenient a short drive to the beach and many of the area’s Cenotes and attractions. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a budget friendly, yet natural retreat, that allows opportunities for exploration.

Patrico’s eco retreat was the perfect spiritual get away. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the perfect place to reflect and reconnect with nature. The toilets are compost, the showers draw water from the underground river, and electricity is solar panel powered so the entire retreat is self sustainable. If you’re truly a nature person and find beauty in simple living you will appreciate this stay.

ZEN CANTO VILLA TUUCH ♥ May the Jungle be with you

DanieleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I traveled quite a bit and was my third time at Zen Canto. Now i'm pretty sure this is one of the most beautiful spots in the World. Nothing relaxes me more than the ambiance of this magical place. The calmness, the beautiful nature, the nice pool shaped like a cenote or the house wich is very cosy. You habe everything you need to be, nice restaurants in the vicinity and you can park the car in front of the main door to be quick on the road for adventures in the magnificent eastern part of Mexico. The hosts are most helpful and very lovely to chat with. With some very good tips for restaurants or activities i had an amazing time and i can't wait to go back again (hopefully). To put it in marketing jargon: would you recommend it to friends and family? Absolutely Yes :-)

Zamna Jungle Cabin w/Pool - Tulum, Mexico

DanielaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The place is very nice. We were greeted with the bed adorned with rose petals & some very nice candles. Honestly that was a beautiful detail as the trip was as a couple by February 14th. Without asking for anything they did. The location is good & as they tell you if you have to rent a Transit, we had a car so you easily reach the tourist locations. We actually spent very little in the cabin but managed to sleep quietly, we managed to relax quite, the air-conditioning super well. I think the only thing I could suggest is that they change the shower, I know it is an ecological place but as we go on vacation sometimes we want to take a bath with a lot of water falling and relax, that's just a suggestion because it's still okay I give it 10/10. The care of the girls super friendly and accessible, I asked them a personal favor and without hesitation they supported me that always adds 1000 points. I happily & surely will return on my next trip 🖤

Zapote Lodge, Surrounded by nature

DaliaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Hello! My partner and I stayed in the Na-House while visiting Tulum and it was the best decision we made. The place is exactly as described in the pictures if not more beautiful. The cenote in the middle of the houses is clean and pretty deep so water is not hot. The house has hot water in the shower and do not underestimate the AC. We slept very pleasantly even with the construction next to the Na-House. There are a lot birds that visit the property in the morning with different colors, lookout for that if you enjoy drinking coffee outside. There are 2 cenotes approximately 6 minutes away driving. Many, places to eat delicious meals, fruit snacks, and all kind of beverages. Pia is a great manager(she helped us to book a tour), sweet, and knowledgeable of the area. Pia's team Pascual and Mariano are very professional and helpful. There are guide books in the house MUST READ. Thank you all.
