Vacation rentals with beach access in Sea Ranch

We were lucky to find the perfect time for staying at this beautiful spot. It was a great location, with parking off the street, access to nearby headland trails- while still being walkable to the rest of town. Our host, Mary was the very picture of hospitality- reaching out to us to coordinate our arrival after a delay driving through the Bay Area; then again intermittently checking in with us to make sure there were no problems. Prior to our stay, she was also very helpful and listed recommendations on places to eat. We had a wonderful stay and intend to return to enjoy the lovely views and relaxing environment we find ourselves wishing we could live in full time.

We had a lovely stay! Thank you! It was peaceful and private. The view is gorgeous! The “Cottage” is really cute—looks just like the picture. We had everything we needed for our stay. The instructions provided prior to our stay were detailed and made it very easy to locate the place, check-in/out, and gave useful information for our stay. We hope to have the opportunity to stay at “the Cottage” again.

Beautiful studio in great location. We really enjoyed our stay for our 4 year olds birthday. The balcony over looked the bay and was able to see a lot of sea life. The studio itself was also comfortable with all the amenities. We were stormed in one morning so it gave us a chance to just relax and enjoyed the house itself. We cooked and played games and waited for it to pass. Fun, relaxing weekend- will definitely be back!

Beautiful location . Really nice little unit. IEverything we needed was accessible to us..It was quiet and peaceful just what I was looking for. Would definitely stay there again

We had an amazing time here over the weekend. The interior was clean and comfortable and the views were amazing. We enjoyed watching the bird, seals, and other wildlife. Everything we needed was less than 10 min away.

This property is such an undiscovered gem! It’s hard to put into words how special this location is, given there’s no other properties quite like it next to it and it’s literally the only one on the water in this region of the marsh. Megan has gone above and beyond to have the place stocked with all bathroom essentials, snacks, records, kitchen tools etc. It’s all incredibly spacious, feeling like it can comfortably hold 6-7, and the space has been thoughtfully curated artistically. These are the kind of once in a blue moon rare finds on Airbnb and I feel lucky to have experienced this with my family at a reasonable cost! Would definitely return and recommend others to check out this place to make Bodega Bay feel extra memorable Notes: as a light sleeper, there are some pet like sounds from upstairs but Megan has stocked the place with earplugs. The unit runs cold, especially by the bathrooms, but Megan has also accounted for portable heaters to help here.

All I can say is wow, what a perfect stay we had at The Guest Nest! Kerry's place is beautiful, inside and out - spotlessly clean, well thought out, cozy and spacious. Lots of light during the day, and the fireplace kept us warm at night. The views from the windows, porches & garden are amazing, from the garden, to the grounds with the deer grazing, to the ocean. Absolutely fantastic neighborhood as well...Caspar Headlands and Caspar Beach are an easy walk, and they're both gorgeous. Last but certainly not least, Kerry was an amazing host - extremely helpful, kind and communicative. If I ever find myself in the Mendocino area again (which I hope to!), I would absolutely love to stay in The Guest Nest again, just an amazing place/host!

Beautiful view and such a pretty home! Loved the handpicked selection of things in the home and the plants. The big glass windows with a beautiful view of the ocean was such a treat!

A beautiful home and location with wonderful ocean views. Home was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped. Kitchenware, including sharp knives for cutting bread were included. The two bedrooms are comfortable. Nice place for two couples or a family. Natalie‘s communication was complete and helpful. It was nice to have the single car garage to keep our car out of the weather and off the street.

Wow! This home has an exceptional setting - the spectacular views of the ocean from the great room are mesmerizing. The master bedroom and lower level bedrooms all have gorgeous views of the ocean as well. The Ocean Bluff Trail passes right behind the house, making it so convenient to explore the coast. Great for nature lovers - we saw seals, deer, rabbits, fox, and many varieties of sea birds. Also the home is pet friendly and our dog loved it! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Spectacular view with windows galore, the backyard was in full bloom with lots of seating area, super comfy bed, well stocked kitchen and again, the view! Our two small pups felt welcome and enjoyed the fenced yard. We are planning a return visit soon.

this home was beautiful and very well stocked overall with everything you could possibly think of needing; we felt like we were at a hotel/resort rather than just renting out a home! the location was perfect for walking down to the beach via various paths and driving to the local shops/restaurants, as well as for visits from the locals (rabbits, deer, quail, mourning doves, and tons of other birds + the sound of sea lions) in the backyard. the hosts were also very pleasantly attentive; i had my phone turned off for most of the trip, but i saw that they had texted me every day just to check in, and sent updates about things like scheduled maintenance and trash pick up day. 10/10 would recommend and would stay again!!

Great Views, great place. Beach is amazing. Loved the stay and would recommend it. Well stocked kitchen with cast iron pans that are so much better than the usual rental scratched non-stick pans you find in other places. Just missing an ice cream scoop. Some of the linens were scratchy. I think they were microfiber which were once super soft but when washed repeatedly the synthetic fibers break and become scratchy. The bedding in the TV room we had to stash in the downstairs closet because of the obnoxious smell. I feel like the cleaning service must have spilled a bottle of Febreeze in the wash or something. The hot tub was hot and had a great view. Everything worked and was clean. The rental book was very detailed with directions, how to access the beach and use things with the exception of the downstairs TV which had a baffling smart TV like none I’ve ever used. The upstairs Roku TV worked great. The house was easy to keep a comfortable temp. As far as rental go this

Staying here was awesome. A quick phone call with Ben, who was great, got us straightened out for the weekend. Very peaceful, clear instructions for how to use things, and the pinball is a blast!

This was our second stay at the Balina house. It's incredibly peaceful and comfortable. You can watch the waves roll in from the upstairs. The Ohlson pool, walking distance across a meadow, is really worth a visit. The fog burnt off everyday. The kitchen is fully stocked. Our four year old really enjoyed the hot tub. It was a great family get away. The hosts are totally responsive and very thoughtful. We're grateful we found this place!
