Farmstay vacation rentals in Santa Barbara County

My family and I stayed in the studio next to the main house. The location is incredible, and very peaceful. Photos do not do justice to the places :) Even though the studio shares a wall with the main house and there were guests next door, we wouldn’t hear a sounds. Definitely worth checking out!

we loved the cottage it was very beautiful place, peaceful and filled like a home, the best thing about the location it was 10 to 15 minutes drive to go around and have our adventures. We loved our host, Melani and christ, they are loving welcomed and great couples. solvang and Santa ynez it's very nice place to go back and if we do we're definitely going back to Melanis place.

Hilary’s home was wonderful. Great location just minutes away from downtown Solvang. The home was well stocked and the gourmet kitchen was wonderful to cook in. The kids enjoyed the pool and I enjoyed the views and coolbreeze on the pool deck. It was super relaxing! We loved the 2 pianos in the home which we enjoyed playing a few tunes on. We did a zip line tour which was only minutes away from the home. Multiple fruit trees and flowers enhanced the manicured property. Our doggy enjoyed the lawn but did pick up ticks on our walk around the neighborhood. We were able to brush them off him. Thankfully he’s on tick and flea prevention. Overall we had a fantastic time and the kids were sad to leave. We could’ve used a few more days! Thank you Hilary for sharing your beautiful home with us.

We loved our stay. The casita is close to downtown Santa Ynez and surrounded by horses and cows! The property is private and very quiet and peaceful. We brought our dogs along and were able to walk them in a nearby neighborhood and take them on adventures with us. Jeanne’s place was clean, well appointed and she was very helpful and a clear communicator. One surprise was the tax that was due separate from the paid price to Airbnb. It is stated in the listing that tax was not included but I missed that it would be paid separately. So just note, but we really enjoyed ourselves and would love to come back!

Place was clean and it’s big. Peaceful and quiet. Clear instructions to get in and easy to find. The hosts were responsive, hosts us last minute as it was a “ spur of the moment trip”. Note- this place doesn’t have a kitchen or a TV.

This was such a delight. Located in-between Solvang and Los Olivos, close to everything! Amazing views, lovely home, and very comfy! I would love to stay here again! Kris was such a gem, very responsive to my silly questions. (I apologize again to Kris for bugging him twice) 🙂

I adored my stay! Kathleen made me feel so welcome, and the accommodations were beautiful, as well as very comfortable and cozy. Access to the Main Street was so convenient and I really appreciated the helpfulness of the host. I would absolutely stay here again! The decor and garden really made it special as well. 5 Stars!

Great stay at Papa Dux, the property is well appointed and in an excellent location between the funk zone and down town Santa Barbara. Very good communication with the host, friendly, proactive and clear. Would stay here again.

The house was very comfortable and cozy. The beds are very comfortable . I loved the surrounds. it had a very peaceful feeling. Loved the goats!!!!

We enjoyed our stay here! The house was extremely clean and included all the amenities needed. The beds were very comfortable, and the linens were crisp and clean. Using the August app to lock/unlock the front door was a breeze and helpful. Will definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in the area!

Beautiful surroundings! Big space for our entire family. Loved the huge kitchen/living area on the main level. Games and puzzles in another room for the kids! Great house and property!

Our stay was incredibly comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable. The backyard was really well designed as there were many comfy gathering places which includes hammocks, campfires, and marshmallow pits. The house was overall well equipped and extremely clean.

Charming little retreat in Ojai! Perfect for a peaceful couple’s getaway. The space was very clean, well-maintained, and had a cozy, welcoming vibe. Natasha was a thoughtful and responsive host—super communicative and kind. Would definitely stay here again!

We felt very welcome to Chrystine's house. It was clean and nicely organized. We enjoyed the fire pit outside in the evening. The kitchen is well organized and has most of the items you need. The location is very good, in the middle of about a dozen wineries. There's great restaurants just down the road, a 10 minute walk in some cases. Chrystine has a book from former visitors with a great list of wineries, restaurants and adventures. It's also 20 minutes from Lake Cachuma (there's a nice restaurant near the marina), Solvang, and Buellton. If you need four bedrooms this is a wonderful place to stay. Chrystine was great about staying in touch with us before and during our visit.

Serene Getaway is right! High on a hill overlooking avocado trees, oaks, eucalyptus and the Pacific Ocean, you are alone at the top of the hill with just the birds and a few lizards to keep you company. You can walk to downtown and the beach in an hour’s walk through the farms, past horses and lovely winding streets. Carpinteria has great breakfasts and you’re 15-20 minutes to SB for their nighttime activities.

Lots of room for extra friends/family. Great stove top/easy cleaning up. Clean pool, working laundry room. Amazing outside view! Checks off as a really great spot to stay for a few days. Outside amenities is okay could be better. But overall, the stay was pleasant.

Exceptionally clean cottage with a well stocked and outfitted kitchen. Vicky is a terrific host and we hope to return to this property one day soon. I highly recommend this place.

This cottage is a hidden GEM! The place was very peaceful, clean and beautiful. We felt right at home. Hosts were friendly, responsive and accommodating. I loved how the entire house was inclusive for all ages, there is a play area for little ones. Im definitely saving this place for future visits!

We loved Whitney's place. The location was fantastic with a trail up the hill directly behind with beautiful wildflowers and amazing views. Then in the other direction steps down the steep Summerland hill to coffee shops, restaurants, and the beach. Our dog was in heaven there. The cottage is definitely small so probably best for a single or couple though we did manage a weekend with 2 couples. The kitchen is very well appointed and I was able to cook many of the nights without having to run out for cabinet staples. Her recommendations for good grocery stores and restaurants were very helpful. Ian and Whitney could not be more friendly and love meeting their new young baby, dog and parrot. There are two great garden spots on opposite sides of the unit that are great for coffee early and drinks later. Read description of how you get in as it is a lot of steps to get down from the street wind through gravel path to the door. I would definitely rent Whitney's cottage again.

Still day dreaming about our three day stay. Endless fun. We stayed busy in nature playing with the animals, fishing, and going out on different pedal boats, canoes, etc. Campfires, smores, BBQing, and enjoying that amazing commercial kitchen. They have the biggest collection of board games that we didn't get to, and I look forward to making time to play some of the games next time we go back. I loved waking up with the chickens and watching the sunrise while enjoying coffee on the porch. As a mountain lover, being surrounded by mountains was everything :) The goats smiling at me with those beautiful eyes was healing for the soul. My boys loved the guinea pig area, and one son caught so many fish. (Like 50 he says, and between him and my husband, that may be true) He says every time he put the hook in, instant bite and caught a fish. We will be back :) The area with the deck was so magical with the best mountain views while enjoying family meals. Thank you Murad family!

I booked this listing for a getaway stay with my family and I. We wanted lots of greenery and great activities nearby. This listing had all we were seeking. A beautiful view, lots of greenery and hiking trails close by. Additionally, the location is quiet and peaceful with kind neighbors. Waking up in the master bedroom with the beautiful view was just breathtaking. Also, we were able to grill some steak on the grill that they provide. We found out that their gas tank was empty, so we refilled it for them and they kindly reimbursed us the amount. The hosts are easy to reach when questions arise and are hospitable, always asking us how they can improve our stay. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking forward to staying at this listing.

I stayed here for 3 nights this past weekend with my college freshman daughter and our husky. The apt was perfect for us. Breath taking location with view of the fields in the valley, the mountains and the ocean! Very clean, uncluttered. Kitchen has everything we needed to make our meals. I love the light, fresh scent of the lemons and eucalyptus—many of both trees (and also avocados) on the property. Also enjoyed visiting the goats and chickens just one minute walk from the apartment. Washer and dryer was a big plus for us. Very responsive host! Would highly recommended this property!

We only stayed one night en route from central California to Palm Springs, but Los Alamos is a darling spot to stop. There are coffee shops, bakeries, and a couple of great restaurants, plus you're in the middle of beautiful wine country. The house was cozy and very comfortable, perfect for us and our two dogs.
