Vacation rentals with beach access in San Mateo County

Location is perfect for staying across the pristine Pacific Ocean! Even with your own balcony you can enjoy the sunset to. Was very generous in snack and drink freebies! Easy access to airbnb and host was easily available to reach out for help. Definitely a nice hidden gem for exploration between Half Moon Bay and Pacifica even beyond! Also for the price it's worth the stay! Highly recommend to anyone without a doubt!

Great place to stay, right by the ocean and restaurants in El Granada with also great walks around the neighborhood! Only 10mn drive to Half Moon Bay, 20mn to Pacifica and 30mn to SFO. Dan was always very prompt to respond and the place was as described and very clean and safe. We also found it very quiet. We definitely recommend Dan's place! Thank you, Dan!

Glen’s place was the perfect for our family of four. With cute little restaurants and a great grocery store within walking distance, we were able to relax and felt right at home!

I needed a rental while my nearby house was closing, and this was a good place to stay. I liked the closeness to groceries, pharmacies, lots of restaurants, the Serramonte Mall/Center, and all of Pacifica. The views driving downhill either towards Pacifica or the Sunset district of San Francisco were beautiful, and our host was really nice and responsive!

We have stayed at Nancy's place several times, and it was pristine and comfortable as always. Nancy is a great communicator and very flexible with check-in times. It was only two of us, but with the comfortable futon, 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 kids would be comfortable because there is another full couch, and other seating, in the living area. The neighborhood is tranquil and gorgeous.

Friendly host, great location, nice neighborhood, we rented the place for a group golf gathering. It was located just 5 minutes drive to the golf course, super convenient. Great place!

Nancy and Lance are dream hosts! The house was beautiful and exactly as pictured but what set this home apart was the level of care. They answered every question quickly and were always ready to go above and beyond. The house was comfortable, full of amenities, and provided everything our family could want or need. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and the location was so convenient. We hope to go back someday soon!!

House location is wonderful. Walk outdoor and you can see and hear the ocean, one block from the walking trail along the ocean which we took advantage of each day. The house is well stocked and organized. Beds are comfortable, we all slept soundly. Although we didn’t have any children with us, we found that the house is children friendly. Mary-Anne was very responsive to any questions we had, would book at her place in the future if we are in the area.

It's a lovely house, clean and spacious. Perfect for large group gatherings, this home features a spacious kitchen and dining area, two living rooms, a sunroom, and an outside deck with a gorgeous view. John is very responsive, quickly providing us with the additional paper towel we need.

Guys golf outing trip. Was our second time staying at the home. Great location near the water. Plenty of room to layout throughout. House is well kept up. Jennifer answered quickly to provide assistance when the smoke detector went off for no reason? Will stay again when in the area.

There are beautiful views of the ocean from this spacious home. It was an easy drive to San Francisco and we enjoyed the local restaurants as well. The kitchen was large and well-maintained and it was easy to adjust the house temperature to be comfortable for both the main floor and upstairs.

The place met my expectations, and more. I wanted my elderly sister from the east coast to get a feel of California and Jennifer’s place did not disappoint. Loved the boho styled patio. The hot tub was immaculate. The whole house was clean. The kitchen could use a little organization but all the rest is perfect! I highly recommend this place.

Perfect views and wonderful host. It was our second time visiting Judy's home and everything was as perfect as before. We felt at home the moment we walked into Judy's place. She is the most attentive host; everything you could possibly need for your stay is laid out and clearly labelled. Everywhere you turn, there are thoughtful little touches like the welcome chocolates, the well-stocked cupboards, and tips of local things to do. Judy's house is so cozy and the scenery from the picture window in the lounge is incredible, with a clear view of the ocean. Her garden is beautiful; it's the perfect place to relax, watch the hummingbirds, and enjoy the peace. From the house, it's a short drive or few minutes' walk to the beach. Great lunch options are also a walk away; we loved Sage for the coffee and pies. Montara is located on such a quiet and beautiful stretch of coastline, it's hard to believe that San Francisco is just a short drive away. We're already anticipating a return visit!

Perfect place in Pacifica! The location, just a block from the beach, was perfect. Also, the game room kept both the kids and adults entertained! A soak in the hot tub was such a treat after a day at the beach. Anna and Alex were excellent at communicating, and their check-in letter made it easy to find the property and entrance with the photos they provided. Plenty of parking on the street too. Beds were very cozy.

Anna and Alex place was like being at home. We had everything we needed. The beds and linens were cozy. Such a great vibe overall. Lots of places to have a meal. We felt very safe too!

Absolutely stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the pier! Loved the fireplace too. Beds were very comfortable. The condo is close to everything making it the perfect spot to stay while you’re in Pacifica. We’d love to stay here again next time we’re in town. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite Airbnb’s of all time. The place is clean, cozy, and has the most beautiful view of the ocean. Neighborhood is quaint with nice shops and restaurants within walking distance. All instructions were clear and host was very responsive.

We had a great time staying at Melanie Joy's place. The location can't be beat, and her place was clean and spacious for the two of us. Would recommend for a nice stay in peaceful in Pacifica.

We had a fantastic time. The view was second to none, with easy access to the beach and restaurants. Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Great coffee shop within walking distance (albeit with a decent hill). We happened to stay when whales were just off the coast and saw them from the shore. Could not have asked for a better day. For those with mobility issues - you do need to climb about 10 narrow steps to get to the tram, which lets you skip the rest of the stairs. But there is no way around those first steps. Would absolutely come back.

Had a great stay, the condo was great, a little unassuming on the outside, but nicely remodeled inside, with good use of space. The neighborhood is not very touristy, with nice family owned restaurants, and grocery store in walking distance, and a block to the ocean for great views. Was also a perfect location to drive close by for other beaches or up into SF. It’s an older building so could hear footsteps of people upstairs, but wasn’t bad and quiet at night. All-in-all a great stay
