San Marcos River vacation rentals

The house and the yard was fantastic. It has a large kitchen, and living area . The sofa was so comfortable, nice and had plenty seating. I now want to go buy one just like it. The kids room was great. They had a tent with toys in which my 2 year old niece. The outdoor deck and fenced in yard was my favorite. My little corgi dog was so exited to run around and go stare at the cows and neighbors dog. There is a play scape/funhouse, tree swing , and a zip line. We got to see the cows in the back twice and they are beautiful . Amber left snacks for the kiddos by and keurig coffee supplies and tea. The beds were comfy and had soft quilts instead of thick comforters. Everything was very nice and clean and kid and dog friendly .

Everything was like the photos. Joe responded very promptly with any questions. Everything was laid out exactly like was on the email prior to check in. I give this place 5 stars and would without a doubt recommend this place for a nice relaxing get away.

Had a wonderful time at this gem. We thought it was the cutest spot. Kitchen was perfect size, decor was homey. Bed spaces were great considering house size. They even left amenities for our dog which was super helpful. Walkable to the town and we were able to get where we needed to go with ease. Had a little trouble with the door code but the host was quick to response and trouble shooter with us. Definitely would stay again!

Great home, nice and noise free neighborhood, close to grocery stores and fast foods, nice lake view with beautiful ducks. Main attractions such as six flags, sea world and downtown are all super close. Nice and cool home, great for summer time.

I was in town for my daughter's student orientation at TXST. I Loved staying here; it felt cozy and welcoming. The mattresses were very comfortable. We were less than an 8-minute walk to where we needed to be. There was a grocery store right across the street, and there were restaurants and fun spots to walk to. I would absolutely stay again!

Absolutely loved the house! It was super clean and was everything and more that my partner and I wanted. I would definitely recommend this place. I look forward to staying here in the future!

Holland House in San Marcos is an absolute gem! The location is perfect — close to everything you need, but still tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. The house itself is beautifully laid out, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in. One of my favorite parts is the backyard — it’s incredibly peaceful and a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Every detail feels thoughtfully put together, creating a space that’s both comfortable and uplifting. I highly recommend Holland House to anyone looking for a calm and supportive place to stay.

My family had a wonderful time. Quite neighborhood, home was really nice inside and clean, and we enjoyed walking around the community.

Upscale camping— a great experience. 2nd year in a row staying at Hardly Dunn- we stayed in the caboose last time and the hideout this time. Our fav things about the hideout: THE PORCH, so serene! Cute upstairs bunk with a twin bed. Grass so lush you can walk around barefoot, kind and gracious hosts, the privacy, the wildlife! If you’re an adventurer traveling w a dog this is definitely your spot.

Wow is all! What a great place!! So private and the Hot tub/ infinity pool is the icing on the cake! Definitely will be staying here again even our dogs loved roaming the fenced in yard! Book this place!

We had a great time and the rain didnt stop us from swimming and enjoying the hot tub! this place is very unique and worth the drive. The town is small and the closest walmart is about 30 min away if you need Walmart but there are places to eat in town and a dollar store. The animals are very cool!

awesome place, great and secluded, beautiful sunset and sunrise, clean and comfortable. My wife and I loved it, just an earshot from Wimberley. Just absolutely loved it!!

Beautiful Cabin, private & peaceful exactly what we needed. The bed was super comfortable and the cabin has everything we needed , close distance to wimberley square which had lots of great dining options.

Ashlee was a wonderful host that was very responsive and helpful. The cabin was clean and cozy and was perfect for our getaway. It was easy to access, but felt private at the same time. We enjoyed sitting outside watching the deer and birds and we also enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. Would highly recommend!

It was so beautiful. We had absolutely no problems with anything, its very private and the hot tub works very well. The bed is SO comfortable, and the AC above the bed works very well. The TV has this really cool portrait mode on it that makes it look like a photo framed on a wall. And you really cannot beat the view. Thank you guys so much! We will absolutely be back.

This house is conveniently located with lots of restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations around. The yard was absolutely perfect for our pups, and it was nicely mowed and maintained. The house itself was very tidy and cute on the inside. The host was responsive and we loved every minute of our stay! 10/10 would stay here again.

I brought my wife for her birthday weekend. It was such a relaxing and peaceful trip. The pictures honestly don’t even do it justice. It was so peaceful and quiet. The grounds were amazing, lots of outdoor games , a nice pool , grills and some beautiful views around sunrise and sunset. I will say BRING A FLASHLIGHT, it gets very dark at night as it is a stargazing community, but it can be a little creepy. All and all it was so worth every dollar and it was perfect for our peaceful secluded weekend .

This Airbnb is amazing. Great location, great hosts, and absolutely beautiful river front property. My husband, myself and our 12 year old stayed for the weekend and made the best memories. Want to make sure and mention the beds, they are sooo comfortable! We wanted to do a little river float on our own. Took our tubes to the park that's 1 mile away, paid a little fee to park and floated right back to the house. The float was around 40 minutes. My husband walked the short mile to grab the car when we got back. Perfect if you have children that can't handle the 3 hour float that's offered near by. or if you like a more peaceful private float. We will be back! You will not regret renting this airbnb.

We had a great stay! The house and property were beautiful, had everything we needed.

We absolutely loved our stay at Megan’s place. Our toddler loved the wide open space of the property and the animals so much he didn’t want to leave. Megan was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

The river house was clean, comfortable, and in a nice location by the water. It had everything we needed for a quiet stay. Kerri was responsive and helpful whenever I had questions, which made things very easy. Overall, a great experience.

This place was so amazing! Erin was the best host that we have had at any air bnb stay. The description of the place was on point. Truly the Best Damn Cabin! We will definitely be coming back. Very peaceful and relaxing. She was very responsive and helpful 😀 The scenery was very beautiful and well kept. She had all the amenities. This is truly a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
