Carol and Tony provided everything we needed for a lovely family vacation- they accommodated our needs while traveling with a toddler and their guest house felt like a home away from home! Their backyard is heavenly and was the perfect place to relax in between all our outings. They are the nicest couple and I would recommend their lovely cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with easy access to all SoCal has to offer.

This place was a gem. Peaceful, relaxing, and quaint. The kids and I had a ball. Look forward to the next visit.

Teri was a great host. The place was clean, location was good. I traveled with my wife and 4 year old son and this is the first time we visited San Diego. Staying at Teri's place just added extra awesomeness to our trip. Highly recommended and If I visit San Diego again, definitely I will stay here again. All the best to Teri.

A very peaceful and spacious rental for our San Diego trip. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked with everything you need, and the patio and backyard seating area were wonderful extensions of the space to enjoy the gorgeous weather and landscaping. Our super friendly host gave us great recommendations for adventures, restaurants, and neighborhood walks that we really enjoyed. And bonus points for Koa (doggie host) who is the absolute sweetest!

My husband, daughter, and I spent 5 nights at Rich's place and loved the space, privacy, backyard area, and comfortable bed! the kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed cooking several meals there. We had our own bikes and it was a quick ride down to the beach and the bay and although you are on a busy street, there is no noise in the casita as it's behind the main house. Rich was a very responsive and friendly host and the space is great- highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at home with their warm hospitality and thoughtful touches. They go above and beyond to ensure every detail is taken care of — you can genuinely feel how much they care about their guests. The guest home itself is absolutely majestic. Nestled right by the ocean (2mi), it’s a peaceful, serene retreat with beautiful greenery and a calming atmosphere that melts all your stress away. Every corner of the space is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. If you’re looking for a quiet, luxurious, and welcoming escape by the sea, look no further. Leanne and Jim’s place is a hidden gem, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Fantastic stay! The place was clean, bright, and comfortable, and Carolina, the host, has clearly put a lot of thought into the little details that make a stay enjoyable. The king-size bed was especially appreciated since that’s what we’re used to at home—and it was very comfortable! We loved having access to beach gear—chairs, umbrellas, towels, and bikes. While we didn’t end up using the bikes, we did spend an afternoon at La Jolla Shores and made great use of the chairs and towels. The location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk to Windansea Beach and an easy 5–10 minute drive to great restaurants and shops. Carolina was super communicative and responsive throughout our stay. We’d definitely stay here again—and we don’t say that about many rentals we’ve used!

We enjoyed another lovely stay with Candace. The peaceful, cozy and clean environment made for a very relaxing visit. We look forward to our next stay!

Atoosa was super responsive prior to check in and throughout trip. The neighborhood is beautiful and nice to walk around (if you do not mind the hills!). We appreciated the porch with an awesome view and was very peaceful. The kitchen was the best stocked and kept up kitchen that we have encountered since the early days of Airbnb. Very clean, modern but cozy. Had a great stay and would recommend. Especially if you like to have some privacy and peace instead of being in town.

My toddler and I stayed at Stephanie's place because of the location, it's private, and it had everything we needed. The space was very thought out as well as the supplies. Bed was very comfortable and the place was just very nice overall - clean and organized. What I really appreciated was that the kitchen came with a cast iron skillet and a cast iron tea kettle (non toxic cookware). Stephanie also welcomed us with two beers in the fridge, although I do not drink, it was very thoughtful. I am a native of San Diego, so this location was ideal for me to all the places I needed to go. Highly recommended :).

I think this is our 3rd year staying here and we will definitely come back next year again. Very clean, nice and cozy all the amenities you need and Jeffrey is very helpful. It’s right down the street from our son’s family, which is walkable, highly recommended.

I really enjoyed staying here. It's on a canyon, which provided a great view and a nice breeze and was very quiet. We had our little dog with us and he loved being able to explore the yard. It's a great location in La Jolla / North PB. It's at the top of my list for my next trip to San Diego.

The house was better than I imagined, I felt at home!!! It had everything we needed, Bonnie was super detailed in every detail giving us the feeling of being at home!!! The view was wonderful, beautiful place!!! The communication was wonderful, she answered me instantly every time I needed!!! Best experience I've ever had!!! Thank you Bonnie for so much affection!

It is hard to imagine finding a better place to stay than Irina's home. Irina's place is excellent in every category. The most important category that we care about is that the home is very clean. This place is spotless. Irina is a fantastic host. Always asking if there is anything She could do to make our stay better. We were here for a job and enjoyed how comfortable we were in the house after a long day at work. This place is a winner!!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The 2-bedroom place was sparkling clean and so cozy - perfect for our family. Even though the weather wasn't great, the views were still lovely, and our little one was thrilled to spot some small animals around the property. The fresh oranges from the tree were a delicious treat, and the tiny swings inside were a big hit! The clean bathroom was also a huge plus. We highly recommend this spot for families.

We recently had the pleasure of staying in Laura‘s Casita next to the beach, and it was fantastic. The beach is just past the driveway and down the stairs, allowing us to hear the soothing sound of the waves crashing from our patio. One of the highlights of our trip was enjoying the fire pit on our last night. Lauren also recommended 333 Pacific Steak and Seafood and we were blown away by the food! We also discovered the rooftop bar at the Mission Pacific Hotel which was a highlight of our stay. We would definitely choose one of Lauren‘s places again when we return to Oceanside.

Wonderful stay! Home away from home! had everything I needed for an extended stay. Will be back for sure!

my daughter and I stayed at Susie and Britt's poolhouse for 6 nights when we were in the San Diego area for a wedding. At first we thought we would look for a beach rental but then heard that it can be foggy on the coast during May and June and going 5 miles inland can make a big difference with weather. we looked in Rancho Sante Fe because that we where the wedding venue was located and we really hit the jackpot! Everything is just as described- very relaxing times in the jacuzzi and by the fire pit in the evenings. The travel to the surrounding SanDiego sights was super easy. Highly recommend this rental!!!
