Vacation rentals with beach access in San Marcos

Spotless and very comfortable place that looks exactly like the pictures. Very comfortable beds and linens and we loved hanging out on the back patio enjoying the cool evenings. The Keurig was a plus. We walked to the ocean a couple of times but to go swimming at the main beach we opted to drive. We loved Aja's place and can't wait to come back!

We had a great stay! Dave and Sharon are wonderful hosts who helped us with lots of tips. Communication was very quick and easy. We can recommend the apartment and would definitely come back.

Place was wonderful. Check in was ok. Directions was confusing around the place and map was not to helpful at all. Steven was great w/ communication.

Great stay at Marabella! The views were stunning from our room! Located right on the water, walking distance from many shops and restaurants. The patio was nice and grounds were well kept and clean. The beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and outdoor shower was definitely appreciated. It was perfect!

I loved the location, we could walk to coffee in the morning. A few great food options are close. The kitchen was fully equipped for anyone wanting to cook, we didn't because the food choices were too good in the area.

We stayed at Christie’s apartment for two stays during a one week trip. Both stays were overall pleasant . Very nice view from the front balcony where you are able to see both the ocean and sunset, you are also able to hear the waves crash at night. Nice interior with plenty of space for two remote workers. Nice coffee shops within a walkable distance for lunch breaks and just a 5 minute walk to the beach. There were also many great restaurants within a few minutes drive of the apartment and a mall in Carlsbad 15 minutes away with many retailers. The only issue I ran into with our stays is one neighbor two houses down was rather hostile towards parking near her property, although it’s public street parking. Overall, I would stay again, I would just make it a point to park on the other side of the road.

Amazing stay start to finish and would highly recommend to anyone. Noah and Rena are helpful and communicative; their experience as hosts is immediately apparent as they make everything easy for their guests. The place was clean, comfortable, easily accessible, has parking, great amenities and all at a great price.

What a wonderful Airbnb experience! The bungalow was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We especially loved taking advantage of the outdoor amenities, including the cold plunge, sauna and hot tub. The outdoor space was perfectly tranquil. Our daughter and dog loved playing in the yard. The proximity to downtown Carlsbad was a huge plus. We were very happy with our stay!

This house was beautiful and the pool was amazing! Gabe was responsive and very friendly. check in was easy. The beds were so comfy, and everything was pristine. thank you again for hosting my family of 9 plus doggies! we will Def be returning soon! p.s. The pool heating was so worth it!

Great place! Especially if traveling with kids. Very clean and has all the comforts of home. The yard is a bonus for letting little ones play. Mari was helpful and accommodating and easy to communicate with. My family was actually set to stay at another one of their properties but at the last minute, (and due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control), we were unable to stay at the original booking. But Mari was quick to reach out to me and was very helpful at getting us booked at another location. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

The host was incredibly responsive and quickly took care of any issues that arose, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The backyard was a highlight—serene, peaceful, and beautifully landscaped. The value for the price was definitely worth it, and we'd highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

We had a great stay at Mark's place! It was clean and tidy, and had everything we would need. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, measuring spoons, etc. The shower pressure was delightful, and the couch was comfy. The bed was a bit soft, which one of us loved and the other one didn't, so depends on your preferences. The neighborhood was great, we felt super safe wherever we went, and we could walk to restaurants and the beach. Would recommend Mark's place!

Anthony's place was great! He and Amanda were super communicative and the place was easy to get into and was exactly as described. We had a great stay. If you are unfamiliar with the Carlsbad area, as we are, there are a couple of helpful things to know: - there is quite a bit of street noise as the home is directly on the street across from the Pacific. - the beach directly across the street from the house is at the bottom of a bluff - there are quite a few stairs to climb down in order to reach the beach/water. - there is no beach across the street at high tide - the water comes all the way up to the bluff - there are great beaches about a half mile either direction from the home that are easier to access. None of this would have changed our decision to stay, but would've been good to know if we were more familiar with the area. Overall great stay, at the home was very well laid out for my elderly Mother with all amenities on the first floor and not stairs to enter the home.

Had an amazing experience. The view from this location is incredible. The place was spacious, clean, and felt like home. The host met us at gate and was extremely friendly and helpful and recommended great places for us to do in the area. Just an amazing place to experience!!!!!!!

The space was small but definitely cozy enough for two. It was clean and well organized with plenty of home amenities. Definitely good for a long weekend getaway. It also nice that the beach and fun things to do are with-in easy walking distance. Crystal is very responsive and sweet. We enjoyed our stay very much.

I couldn’t have chosen a better place to visit my son, who is currently serving in the Marines. We were both able to rest deeply in a big, soft, comfortable bed something we hadn’t shared in a long time. The house had everything we needed; if I needed something from the kitchen, it was there. Nothing was missing. I was able to cook for him, we shared a beach day, and for a few days, it felt like we were home again. It was a safe, cozy, and truly special place. I’m deeply grateful for this week and for the joy of spending it with my son. 5 stars without a doubt! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, safe stay full of heart.

This was the perfect place for our family or five, and Dalma was the perfect host. Everything was great, as many other prior reviews have already articulated in great detail. You can stop looking for a better spot to stay; book this place now!

Our stay at Just Beachy totally exceeded our expectations. It was perfection! Lorraine is an incredible host thanks to her responsiveness, kindness, and hospitality. The condo was so well decorated; you could tell Lorraine paid attention to every little detail, down to the paint colour…very serene. The complex itself is truly amazing, we enjoyed many of the amenities on both sides. And then there is the view…WOW! Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves was so relaxing (and the bed is SUPER comfy). I highly recommend this condo and Lorraine! We can’t wait to come back! ❤️

Great location. Walkable to the beach, restaurants and shops. They had a wagon which was clutch to help transport beach necessities to and from without issue. Loved the rooftop space to hang out and unwind. Train wasn’t an issue, barely heard it when we were inside. Area was great for a quick getaway. Super responsive and got any issues taken care of right away. Everyone had tons of relaxing fun in the sun.

A wonderful condo in the Omi resort.Has everything you need , fully stocked .great views out of the 2 sliders .A Walkable area in the resort and a lagoon and beaches not faraway. I enjoyed the walks in the resort and the restaurant.

We had a fantastic stay in unit 4! You absolutely cannot beat the location and having parking included is incredibly convenient. The unit itself looked just like the pictures and it was very clean. We enjoyed having a full kitchen as we visited the farmers market on State Street (open on Wednesday afternoons) and purchased snacks and items to make breakfast each morning. We're already planning our next trip back and will book this location!!
