Tiny house vacation rentals in San Bernardino County

Wonderful last minute trip to the desert. The outdoor area was lovely - sauna, outdoor shower/tub, hot tub, grill, table, etc. We spent most of our time there and the string lights added a nice touch when the sun went down. House was clean and well kept with lots of amenities. The host was responsive and helpful - would stay again. Thank you for hosting us!

Cannot say enough good things about the place and the host. The cottage is in a great location, perfect for a peaceful getaway and also close to a few restaurants, shops and attractions (and very close driving distance to the village). It was so charming, cozy and clean, we really enjoyed just staying in, cozying up by the fire and cooking some meals (has a BBQ, all the dishes & cooking essentials you need for basic meals) when we didn’t have an activity planned. Samantha was the best host I’ve ever had - so communicative (kept us posted about the county fire status before and during our stay & offered flexibility with reservation), accommodating, offered so many great local recommendations and was so kind. Such a lovely experience being hosted by Samantha. Can’t wait to return and stay in Kodiak’s Cottage again in the winter - it’s perfect for any season. This will be our go-to Big Bear Lake location. Thanks to Samantha for the best trip at Kodiak’s Cottage!!!

My girlfriend and I had a great stay at Peters place. It was even better than the pictures and it was absolutely beautiful at night. The place was clean, decorated nicely, and had everything we needed. I would 100% come again. Thank you Peter!!

What a wonderful abode hand refurbished by Ryan! It was nicely designed with well equipped utensils, crockery, dishwasher, cook top, microwave, BBQ pit and fire pit. I guessed previous guests left behind certain items (pay it forward) and we forgot liquid flame and olive oil… thus Utilising it.. cabin was dim but I guessed to prevent further light pollution so bring your own lantern or best; use your phone! We dine under the stars bbq steaks and laid on the bed stargazing! Throw provided so you never felt cold! Such a good place but pls follow his directions to a T to get there! Thank you Ryan for being a responsible host and responsive too

A truly unique place to enjoy the peace and quiet of the desert. You can tell that Annalee gave a great deal of care and attention to making the Cowboy Cabin a comfortable and welcoming place for her guests.

Cute house, eclectic decor, huge and private lot with rustic art installations throughout made for a fun and colorful experience. Definitely bring everything you need - getting to store/restaurants will be a trek as it’s 30 mins to get to main highway. There was a market near by but we didn’t check it out. All wheel drive will go a long way.

Venus and Joanna were so responsive! We didn't properly follow the directions to get to the place (make sure you avoid Mitch Road) and ended up stuck in the sand due to our car's really low body. Nevertheless they were super responsive and able to connect us with someone who could help pull us out, even in the dark! We had a fantastic vacation and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and gorgeous sky. You could see tons of stars and the Milky Way plus beautiful sunsets with Joshua trees and mountains right out the window! The hot tub was very soothing at night and the pool was great on those hot days. We also got to smoke outside on the porch which was really nice. Everything was charming and we loved looking through the book of guest art. The whole vibe of the place was inspiring and I look forward to another chance to experience it! ✨️

This place is truly magical. Perfect baecation. Super private and secluded from the crowds. Might seem a little scary at night but it is so peaceful and enjoyable once you get comfy. Stevie-Ann recommends excellent places to eat and things to see around the area. She is super easy to contact and always willing to help with anything. Enjoyed my stay so much!!

We absolutely loved our stay! Sean and Cait were super communicative and helpful. They make sure we were settled in and happy. The house is cute and cozy and we felt right at home. Inside, the sofa was a great hangout spot, the beds are SO comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed. Outside, we hot tubbed under the stars, had cocktails by the firepit, and during the day read our books on the patio. It was a few mins drive to the Frontier Cafe for brunch, and 10mins drive to Pappy and Harriets and Red Dog Saloon! Perfect. We will definitely be back!!! Thanks Sean and Cait!!

What an amazingly unique and fun spot to spend a few days while visiting Joshua Tree! Vanessa’s property is a wonderland of creative art, one-of-kind places to stay, and lovely critters exploring and enjoying the grounds. Friendliest pack of pups greets you at the gate, inquisitive and majestic emus join you for a sunset hot tub soak, a tortoise waltzes by the natural pool as you read under the palms. It’s really just the perfect vibe!

One of the best places i’ve experienced. And I have traveled and stayed at so many locations. By far a must place to be a repeat guest. My husband and I postponed a lot of things due to a family passing . We had some days off . At first we weren’t gonna go anywhere due to a wedding we were going but we had an extra day off and said why not . Lets go for a whim and just go somewhere for us to reset and relax . I’m so glad we did because we loved everything about this home. Olive trees has a special symbol to us & to be surrounded by it . It blew our head off . It’s better than we expected. For new guests,be mindful you are a way bit far from everyone and the town. Make sure you pack lots of snacks lol. There is a little oven if you are planning to cook all weekend like we did . But it works great like a regular oven. So no complaints there . I love it when hosts are big on the little details , because it matters so much & iam grateful for the amenities. Thank you !

Peace and quiet at Shadowlands! Loved our stay to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Only hiccup was an issue with the hot tub but the owner was responsive and quick to fix the issue so we were able to enjoy the hot tub while watching the moon rise our last night! Super comfortable house with a comfortable bed and well-placed blackout curtains. Loved the shower. Didn’t have a chance to use the outdoor cowboy tub … maybe next time!

Our stay was simply fantastic! The location was ideal just a short drive from Big Bear Village to cute shops and restaurants. This Airbnb served as our perfect home base, allowing us to cook our meals, relax in comfort in a clean environment, and play endless games. Being outdoor enthusiasts, we were thrilled to discover the proximity to the lake, where we spent endless hours paddle boarding and soaking in the beauty of nature. Additionally, the nearby hiking trails provided the perfect opportunity to explore the scenic surroundings. We loved riding the E- scooters and seeing the neighborhood. One of the highlights of our stay was the backyard and the hot tub where we enjoyed relaxing after a long day of adventure and fun. Our stay was a perfect balance of adventure and relaxation, making for a truly memorable getaway. We can't wait to return to Natalie's Cabin in Big Bear!

We really enjoyed our stay in Josh and Don’s place! The house is impeccable- love the furnishings and all the thoughtful details. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up early to watch the sunrise was a highlight of our trip. We would definitely return to this Air bnb!

Beautiful stars and a comfy place to stay when adventuring in Joshua Tree. Had some shady run ins with people in the area, but the house is a safe haven. Great place to unwind and look at the galaxy.

Awesome little desert bungalo tucked away from the downtown area. Super quiet at night and has everything you need for a quick stay. Would stay again!

Staying at Sugar Mountain may have been one of the best airbnb experiences I've ever had. The cabin was perfect, charming, hip, fun and inviting. The close proximity to the Sand to Snow Monument for hiking was a big bonus. It's clear that Sheila has given a lot of thought to her guests' experiences. We felt very cared for. As well, her communication was flawless. We will definitely come back and stay again.

It's in the middle of nowhere, with everything right down the road. The property is secluded, peaceful, quiet, beautiful, private, and yet just a short drive (or slightly longer walk) from everything you need. I stayed at Cabin 1, which was sparkling clean on my arrival and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was cozy, and the cabin was surprisingly quiet during one of the extremely windy nights. Jill's instructions were absolute perfection, covering everything from which map app to us to get to their property, excellent suggestions on places to dine, hiking trails, and clear and easy instructions on how to run the pool, hot tub, stoves, etc. Cant wait to go back! Thank you for a rejuvenating stay!

Beautiful cabin in the middle of nowhere. The cabin is equipped with everything you need and much more. We could only stay for one night, though we wish we could have stayed longer in this charming place. Elena was very kind and responsive, very good communication. There are no paved roads on the way to the cabin, so I recommend an AWD to get there.

I had the most amazing stay here, beautiful and secluded, exactly what I needed!! Lovely house with the most amazing desert surroundings, can’t recommend more highly if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Thank you

Loved my stay here. Gorgeous surrounding, property was just as described. The place was fully loaded, it was incredible. A well stocked fridge full of goodies, made my heart flutter after such a long drive. Only advice would be to follow their driving instructions or you might end up like me on some wild sand road.
