Cabin on the River

Get back to nature in our one room cabin with lots of comfort. Located next to the famous Regency Bridge the States last functioning swinging bridge. There is a small private RV park nearby that rents out an small camper which would allow you to have more guests come and stay next door. The river is on the property with steps down to the water perfect for kayaking or fishing. When the water level is down hiking the river bed is a great time. We do have 2 paddle boards available to rent as well.

Beautiful and spacious home. The beds were so comfortable. Kitchen is large and well-equipped. The hosts were flexible with check in and check out times which was so helpful for our family with young kids. We would definitely stay again!

We went to Burnet for Mother's day weekend to just getaway from Waco. Niza's place was perfect for our little weekend away from the city. The peace and quiet out there was amazing. To sit outside in the morning and watching the deer walk by to sitting outside in the evening watching the sunset and listening to the frogs. There was no water back behind which we knew but it was still beautiful. Was definitely what we needed and if we go back to Burnet we will definitely book again with Niza. She messaged to make sure checking in and everything went well and to let me know to reach out if need anything and even wish me to have a wonderful mother's day weekend.

This was the second time we stayed and loved it just as much as last time. Cant wait to come back. The house is pristine with everything you need and more. The hot tub and pool were a big plus. There was plenty of room inside and out. The yard was very well kept and comfortable. You can tell that this house is well loved. Thank you Sandra for a great get away that was well needed

It was a very nice stay. House layout and cleanliness was perfect. The backyard area is the place to be. We loved the view. Fishing was an easy walk to the water. There’s plenty to do in the area. All in all we loved the stay and would definitely recommend!

Had a wonderful stay! As soon as we walked in, we saw the absolutely beautiful view of the water and hills beyond! All the spaces were clean and bug-free (which we greatly appreciate!) especially for being located right along the water. The private water front was very peaceful. Loved the fact that we had lots of outdoor furniture to carry out and sit on the sand. Overall would recommend to anyone wanting a getaway from the city for a great price!

We spend a wonderful week at the Cottage. The front porch is amazing with a view of the lake. The amount of deer in the area…. Oh My!! SoSoSo Many!! We absolutely enjoyed feeding and watching them. Will definitely check availability next time we are in the area.
