Life is better on the summit! 1 mile from the entrance to Sierra at Tahoe Ski Resort. Sitting on an acre of natural meadow and marsh land, the property includes the American River headwaters. Enjoy our remodeled interior w/ fireplace and rear deck with hot tub & fire pit. In the winter, we get a lot more snow than in the basin. Typically 15 min to the Y and 25 min to Stateline. Note the cabin is *on* Hwy 50 (some road noise) and is not "in town". This gets you closer to Sac and Sierra at Tahoe.

This is an ideal romantic vacation spot for couples. It is located in a quiet, serene neighborhood and has a large deck to enjoy. There is usually snow in winter. This is a kid friendly property with a pack-n-play, booster seat, and a play kitchen area in the downstairs. There is a king bed located upstairs in the loft (winding staircase is steep) and a double bed located downstairs in a bedroom. Welcome! We are allowed to take 4 guests and/plus 2 children. Or, 4 adults, or 2 adults with a few children. Nestled in Christmas Valley of South Lake Tahoe a cozy cabin with all the amenities. Warm gas fireplace with fully loaded kitchen. Hiking, biking and walking trails just minutes away. Bedrooms are upstairs, bathroom is downstairs. No parties, no events. Check in is 4:00 pm, as the housekeeper is trying to finish up.
