Cabin vacation rentals in Mount Vernon

Lori’s is exactly what we need while visiting family over a holiday. She is very gracious to host us over Thanksgiving as the last occupants of the year. Even during a snow storm, her place is cosy and beautiful. This is our second year coming, and we love it every time. We would recommend it for those looking for a charming getaway from busy life. My friends and I loved our stay! Aqeel and Michelle were such responsive and lovely. The cabin was spotless, the kitchens were fully stocked, and the bear theme was so adorable and cozy. We truly appreciated how proactive our hosts were in making sure we were settled and had all the information we needed.

We booked at the last minute, which was very easy because the co-hosts were so quick to respond both to our initial inquiry and then to questions we had. The place was perfect for our group. It has a lovely view, plenty of room and all the amenities listed. The hot tub on a cold winter night with the house surrounded by snow was magical. Everything was clean. Check-in was easy. The guidebook was a huge help both for the house and the area. Truly a wonderful stay. Hope to return snd to stay more than one night next time!

Just returned from the most fantastic 2 weeks exploring the US which included a weeks stay at Kiwi Lodge. Where to start? This was exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Maine. The property was spotless and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 great sized bathrooms, wonderful living area and kitchen and fantastic games room. Hot tub was brilliant. The location on the lake is just perfect, we had the lake to ourselves and took the canoe out. Nearest town of Farmington has all the shops and cafes you’d need. The communication from Kay was great from the day we booked, and recommendations we took her up on were all absolutely spot on. Thank you Kay and thank you Kiwi Lodge for a holiday to remember!

Beautiful cabin, everything looked the same as the pictures. Great place to get away from the city. Quiet and private. Although we didn’t need to contact the host throughout the stay Alexa was very attentive from check in to check out. :)

A beautiful cabin set on a picturesque lake! Comfy beds and tons of natural light. We used the cabin as our home base after two full days of exploring the campuses of Colby and Bowdoin. My only regret is not having an opportunity to take out one of the stand up paddle boards.

We had a wonderful stay at Carly’s beautiful and cozy cabin! The surrounding trails were fun to explore, and warming up in the hot tub was the perfect way to end the day. We wish we could have stayed longer and would love to come again for a longer stay in the winter. Thank you, Carly!

Can’t say enough good things about our time at the Cloud Cabin - the MOST beautiful view to wake up to. The cabin is beautifully situated, well-equipped and we felt right at home straight away. The best thing though was how responsive and helpful Anthony was - and his team on the ground, who had cleared a huge dump of unexpected Thanksgiving snow right up to the front door by the way we woke up the next morning. Such a gorgeous spot with lots to do - recommend also Ultimate Dog/Sleighing for some fun!

My boyfriend and I stayed the weekend and we felt right at home the second we walked through the door and got settled in. The cabin is beautifully renovated, and was so comfortable. It was chilly and rainy pretty much our entire stay but we were nice and warm in the cabin. Everything you could possibly need was in the kitchen. There are a couple of cute restraunts in the downtown area and it’s only about 45 min away from Sugarloaf Mountain. Justin was very responsive and was very easy to communicate with. We can’t wait to come back for another trip, it’s our new home away from home!

Misty Mountain Hop was "as advertised" and more! We expected a cabin in beautiful surroundings with a full kitchen for our Thanksgiving stay. We got all that plus a cozy, comfortable and relaxing vibe that would be hard to list but is definitely part of this great accommodation. Of course the falling snow helped, but the wood burning stove, comfortable beds and furniture, rustic decor and complete dining area made our stay. We cooked a complete Thanksgiving dinner plus several other meals and had everything we needed and then some. The thoughtful extras in the kitchen were appreciated, especially the coffee and tea. The heating system plus wood stove worked well. One note, if you will be there in Winter, the driveway is long and would be difficult to navigate with the snow if we did not have 4 wheel drive. The road however was promptly plowed. I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a quiet getaway in a natural setting. Also Talia was helpful and communicative.

I loved this place! Enjoying coffee and meals outside on the deck overlooking the lake and beautiful surroundings of nature. I felt safe there and was a charming neighborhood. I loved that there were boats to use and a dock to watch sunset an autumn harvest moon over lake! Jess was the perfect host and made sure everything was great when I arrived. She was very helpful when I had any questions and I am looking so forward to going back there again! Thank you Jess for sharing this wonderful place!!!

this was a great place. it had plenty of room. though we were a party of 4 people. it accommodates many more. great layout for a family. 3 bathrooms was great to have. close to town and restaurants. it is worth the 1/2 hour drive to Eustic for restaurants as well. Brick hollow brew pub was fabulous for beer and mouthwatering food. The Moose Alley bowling alley in Rangely had a fabulous breakfast as well.

Charming little cottage on the lake! Had a lot of fun, easy to get to town and the lake was serene and peaceful. Great place to stay!

It was a very cute place and the host was more than happy to help with any questions I had for her. I really appreciate the space provided and it felt like a cozy cabin stay that was free of major technological distractions.

We loved our stay at Ceara's place in Winthrop. We wanted a weekend/workday getaway and it was everything we wanted and more! It was a curious change of place for our toddler too! The location is very private and beautiful, and the stay has everything we could ask for, including a playable guitar! Thanks again for the wonderful experience!

My teen daughters and I were on a college tour trip and only wish we could have stayed in this wonderful place another night. They squealed with delight when they saw they'd be sleeping in a loft. It's a tiny home, and that's what we were after, so it was perfect.

We had a great stay, was very quiet & peaceful. Enjoyed kayaking, quiet walks, & fishing on the dock. There was a lot of fun activities here along with plenty of books to read & games to play.

Our staying was amazing. I have stayed in many AirBnBs and this was by far the best. It had anything and everything we needed and more. Absolutely stunning location and home. Sha was very responsive and accomodating. We will definitely be back.

We stayed here for a few days for a peaceful getaway trip. The location was beautiful and the area was very quiet! Both of the hosts were very nice and responsive to any questions we had. Everything was stocked in terms of kitchen supplies, linens, paper goods, etc. so we didn’t have much extra we needed to get which was so helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Cabin by the lake. Oysters by the campfire. Peaceful lake and forest surrounding. How can this not be amazing? Destie's property is secluded but has all the trimmings - even an electric fireplace for that extra ambience! The two bedrooms were comfy, the kitchen well-appointed, and our favorite find was the record player with lots of vinyl LPs and 45s! Highly recommended!

Wonderful weekend stay w our adult children. Kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner. Views of the lake were stunning. We all enjoyed a swim and paddle in the kayaks.

My husband and I booked David's Cabin at Price's Point to attend a fundraising event in Augusta. David was extremely pleasant, met us at the door upon arrival, and gave us a personal tour. The cabin was immaculately clean, organized and very spacious. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed sitting by the gas stove in the evening. The cabin had amazing views of the pond and each were breathtaking. We look forward to coming back in the summer to go swimming, kayaking and fishing with the kids.
