Places to stay in Mount Pleasant

We have stayed in Jefferson several times, and this is by far the best place we’ve stayed. Beautiful place, and perfect location! Walking distance to everything. We will definitely stay here again.

The home was absolutely incredible—spacious, spotless, and tucked away in a beautiful, private setting with plenty to do nearby. Sherry was an outstanding host—communicative, helpful, and incredibly understanding. This AirBnB had everything you could possibly need or want, plus a few thoughtful extras you wouldn’t even think of. I genuinely have no complaints. The only minor hiccup was finding the right house at first—the side facing the street wasn’t the front entrance, which threw me off a bit. But the locals were amazing and really helped us out, even sharing info on local events. If you’re looking for a peaceful lake getaway, this place is a hidden gem—and for the price, it’s hard to beat. I’d absolutely come back!

Shaunna’s place was exactly as described. I felt right at home, cozy, and comfortable. Shaunna was very accommodating, responsive , friendly, and recommended a great place to eat. The house was clean and very nostalgic, as it reminded me of my aunt’s house when I was younger. I would definitely recommend this beautiful gem, and if I’m in the area again, I would definitely stay again.

This is a great place to stay. My sister and I had stayed here before with our older mom, who we take on short vacations most every year. We all love this house. The instructions provided prior to check in were great, including how to get in the house and where we could park while we were there. When we had a question about a thing or two, Anna's response through the app was very quick. When we needed some more ice, Cliff actually came by, filled up our cooler for us and brought it back! Above and beyond service for sure! The house is charming and is in a quiet neighborhood. The neighbors across the street waved to us when we walked by. It is very close to a pizza place where we got pizza the first night. Also, it is an easy walk downtown to any of the shops there. We really enjoyed sitting in the den, listening to some old records on a record player there, having a drink and visiting. It is a short drive to Caddo Lake as well. We will be back. Highly recommend!

We loved the spacious and well-appointed home on such a scenic property. The secluded location was perfect – just a short distance off a main road, but “miles” away from the noise and hustle & bustle of city life. The many hangouts in and outside the home are perfect for both families (shuffleboard, foosball, darts, board games, fishing at the pond, etc.) and couples such as us. The front porch and back deck were great for relaxing and enjoying life. And the bed was so comfortable – a must have anywhere we stay. Chris could not have been a more wonderful host, and he has included so many thoughtful and welcoming amenities to his place! Additionally, this amazing place was close to all the places we wanted to go. We had never visited this part of East Texas but now we know we won’t want to miss the fall colors here at this peaceful Airbnb!
