Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Monroe

Like another guest said, I wished we would have been able to stay longer. We felt right at home, and the cottage was just absolutely adorable! Everything you expect in an Airbnb. Awesome and comfortable beds, lovely decor, and absolutely spotless bathrooms. Mary was super responsive and incredibly nice. They also respected your privacy which is nice. If I’m in town again, we will definitely see if this is available. Thank you so much Mary and Adam for a loving and inviting stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean, fresh smelling, and plenty of room for my family. As we originally were planning on staying in a hotel, this Airbnb made us feel right at home. The host was very accommodating to our needs which made the stay very relaxing.

Everything was great! Beds were very comfortable. Just like pictures. I would stay there again.

This place is a little piece of paradise! From sun up, to sun down, the view will amaze you… even from the inside. At night, the sounds of nature and plush bedding ease you to sleep. The space is beautiful and intentionally designed to make you feel right at home. Anytime I had a question, it was answered quickly and in detail. You can really tell Katy and Mark put their hearts into what they are doing. Thanks for a great stay. ❤️

We have stayed here a few times and have had a great stay every time. Very clean and super cute house. Love the peaceful and secluded location. Hosts are attentive and very nice. 10/10. A favorite road trip stop for us.

Cute place. It is an older home so it has its quirks. So if you appreciate older homes, you’ll love it. Very clean. Well stocked kitchen. The location is very close to a Walmart and restaurants. It’s on a private street that connects 2 other streets so there is a fair bit of traffic. Overall great stay. I would recommend this house.

We LOVED our stay at Sarah’s. It’s a hidden oasis that makes you feel at home. Sarah had everything we needed plus some. We loved being able to walk out onto the dock to fish or sit & talk. The apartment is so beautifully decorated & so peaceful. Sarah is very responsive & friendly. She has such a special place there. Would definitely stay again.

Best place in Ruston! Walkable to tech’s campus.

Small Space but had everything I needed!

Great location for walking around shopping eating and having drinks at local shops clean better than expecting really nice places.

Overall, it was a phenomenal experience. Super friendly host, great place to stay! No complaints at all, I felt completely at home my entire stay. Wish I could’ve stayed longer, and I highly recommend this air BnB for anyone needing to stay within the area.

This is the first time we have ever rented an AIRBNB. We can only hope that future rentals are as nice! The place was nice and quiet and only 3 minutes from the church. We really enjoyed our stay and already talking about booking to for next year. Thanks so much!

I loved it lol forgot how to use the keypad a couple of times and forgot the code as well but it was great it wasn't loud or nosie the home itself was amazing I loved the room det up my mom visited and she loved the Betty boop pictures in the one room we loved it

What a wonderful & pretty place to stay! We stayed here 2nights of our wedding weekend in May. The grounds are gorgeous with flowers in bloom, & fresh cut flowers around our room was such a lovely touch! The rooms are spacious & beautiful. Thank you, Pam for hosting us on our special weekend! I highly recommend visiting Layton's Castle!!

She is good communicator and excellent host I have ever seen. if you want to stay I would recommend this.

Downtown West Monroe, told my cousin to pick me up at Edges , the barbershop. He was a bit incredulous with me being bald and all. He gets his beard trimmed there. My other cousins get all their kids haircut there as well. They didn’t know about the Airbnb. So you walk through a barbershop filled with folks at the barbershop. The owners a transplant from NOLA, so apparently the town has embraced him and for good reason. The bakery across the street was da Bomb, courtyard on cotton art gallery had a great show of LA art. J-Mac’s sports bar was like stepping into a New Orleans locals hangout. Either bridge across the Ouachita river is an easy stroll to the Warehouse restaurant, or the Cotton exchange, and on the west Monroe side a Louisiana seafood joint lookin at Monroe across the river. The BBQ joint on Trenton st smelled right just didn’t have the time or belly to eat there. The WMPD’s detective unit is right across the street from the bakery and it shows. 5 stars all the way.

My mom stayed here while we were celebrating Christmas with my wife’s family. Very clean, nicely furnished, and convenient location!
