Cabin vacation rentals in Madeline Island

Absolutely loved Harvest Moon Cabin! How peaceful it was, just a comfy place to be. We saw lots of wildlife too! Bears, deer, it was so fun! The northern lights even came out for a while. I would love to come back someday! Thanks for a great stay.

We loved our stay at Birch Haven. It is a lovely home, well supplied, decorated and just perfect for our family vacation. We love to watch birds and we saw eagles, osprey and a lot of warblers that we don't often have the opportunity to see. The fireplace was perfect for cool evenings. The kitchen was well supplied and we had a wonderful time making our family dinners. This is a wonderful home and having it on Lake Superior made it a fabulous experience.

Plenty of space and a good location for ski in/ski out

Very cozy cabin directly across from Lake Superior. It was tastefully decorated with a “lake cabin” theme. We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, & squeaky clean kitchen and bathroom.

Cottage 5 was perfect for a cozy and quiet getaway. Very spacious and clean, also had pretty much everything you would need. Plus the ice cream gift, was a great treat! Thank you!!

Perfect location for riding CAMBA trails and close to Cable! We’ll definitely be back. There’s a bike shop right there in case you need anything, and the Telemark and Birkie finish are just around the corner.

Very cozy house in a beautiful setting. Location is great halfway between Bayfield and Cornucopia

The stay was lovely. We were able to drive to other locations about an hour away to explore the area up north. The cabin itself was very nice and clean. We were able play and fish in the lake. It was a really great stay to refresh and recharge!

This place is absolutely beautiful. Our family made the best memories. Would be great anytime of the year.

exactly what we needed for a week along the north shore! my pup enjoyed his morning lake dips and watching the critters outside. super quiet and peaceful. so conveniently situation btw gooseberry falls and split rock. will def be back!

Beautiful cabin located on a very tranquil lake. Great for fishing/canoeing-kayaking. Craig was a great host and reached out to make sure we were ok. There is also a great restaurant with a delicious fish fry right there.

The house was gorgeous (very unique), very clean and well equipped. The property itself was small but secluded and couldn't be more scenic with the lake out the back door, eagles landing in the yard and loons calling from just beyond the dock. I couldn't recommend this place more, if you want a get-away for the weekend or week. It IS a long way from town, shops & restaurants, so come prepared with all your food and entertainment. We did take 2 out of 6 days to drive to Lake Superior (1.75 hr drive) & took the "Grand Tour" to 20 of the Apostle Islands, then another day to hike at Copper Falls State Park(1 hr drive). Both are highly recommended. Otherwise we kayaked, played games, read books and watched the 2024 Paris Olympics. There are pontoon rentals not too far and lake lodges that serve meals, but the boats need to be reserved way ahead. Northern WI is beautiful and we loved Lost Land Escape. No cell signal but great wifi.

The cabin was cozy and clean. It had kitchen tool essentials (silverware, plates/bowls, salt/pepper/tea, cleaning supplies). The bathroom was clean and a short, pretty walk from the cabin. Nice for a winter getaway in the woods but within a short drive to Washburn or other points on the South Shore.

Cozy, quiet cabin in the trees. Loved the closeness of the water. Had a bonfire every night. Tracy is super prepared and responsive. Great place!

Beautiful and very peaceful location! The Flying Barn had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful family vacation! From the beautiful cabin, private location in the middle of a forest, quick responses from the hosts, enjoyed pontooning on Lake Owen while catching numerous walleye, small/large mouth bass, and northern pike, to the very clean cabin… we felt right at home and can’t wait to go back! Love! We have shared some of the best life experiences here from our engagement to our baby reveal! This is like our second home and the owners are WONDERFUL! The lodge, food and drinks are all awesome. Great service and will plan to be back again soon!

We loved our stay so much! Even with 2 kids, it felt like enough space for us all and there were lots of things for everyone to do. We walked to the Beaver dam, took saunas, had a bonfire and the kids loved the bucket shower! We will definitely stay again!
