“This space was so cute; the kitchen was amazing and the bed was so comfortable it was hard to make myself get up! I really appreciated that there was a garage for the guests to use, it made me feel secure knowing my belongings were safe. A really nice stay that I would highly recommend :)”
Lovely shotgun-style home 1/2 block from Louisville's best shops, bars & eateries! On a quiet street in the Highlands, 1910s charm combines w/ modern amenities to create a cozy retreat in a charming neighborhood. Parking on site!
“No reason to pass on this uniquely located little house. As a host, Andrew is on the ball, quick and accommodating in his replies. The house oozes charm, color, in a refreshing remodel. If you're not familiar with Bardstown Road, rest assured it is THE coolest, hippest street in KY, hands down with unique restaurants and shops galore. A 5-minute walk if that, we dined at Louvino during Louisville Restaurant Week and enjoyed the ambiance and food very much. So glad I chose this house for my out of town girlfriends visit!”
Hip modern amenities meet historic home in Shelby Park. Bike friendly, and a quick ride or drive to everything in the urban core - Nulu, Old Louisville, The Highlands, Germantown, Downtown and more. Easy access to the airport, to boot!
“Rachel's place, The Whale, was a perfect place for my family of three to stay while visiting my sister who lives on the other side of Shelby Park. Everything was clean, laid out logically, and it was easy to stay here. The guidebook had good information about the local area and the guest suite. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Louisville, give The Whale a try.”
