Family-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Tarpon

10/10 recommend this place. Extremely nice. The back yard is its own little paradise. Jason and Neil are easy to work with and are very nice. Will be back whenever I come back to Tampa!

This was our 2nd stay and it was just as pleasant as the first time! The extremely short walk right across the street to the beach, quiet neighborhood, less crowded section of the beach, along with the close proximity to restaurants makes it the perfect little getaway! It's probably the most well stocked home with everything you can think of needing (including both a hot pot and tea pot for your tea, beach towels, beach chairs, wagons, boogie boards ECT) It's a clean, comfortable place that makes us feel right at home. We also love the option of the hot tub to relax in for the evening. The hosts are very kind/helpful. It's the perfect little beach getaway. Thank you again! This place has a special place in our hearts. Happy memories made!

Great value!! We loved the pool area and very quiet neighborhood!

The house was well stocked and very clean. The pool was at a perfect temperature and also clean. Location was great, close to many restaurants and beaches. Great for a family vacation with little ones. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The only downside (to be expected) is the number of biting bugs in the morning/evening - there were no outdoor screened in areas, and there were a lot of raccoons that came into the backyard at night. Not a great place to spend nights outside, but this is discouraged by the host understandably, as the house is in a neighborhood with mostly locals. All in all it was a great experience and we would recommend it to friends/family, and stay again.

Diane’s place was one of the most amazing AirBnB’s we’ve ever stayed at !!! The house is decorated like an interesting museum . We loved it so much we didn’t ever want to leave the house . But when we did , the outside yard , pool , jacuzzi and bar were so fun and beautiful !!! We felt like we were in our own oasis . There’s an amazing taco place right across the street . We took a 2 block walk and we were on 7th ave where’s there’s great nightlife - music , restaurants ,bars and people !! We had the so much fun at Diane’s place !!! She’s an extremely responsive host and Kurt called us and helped us find the nearest attractions like the Riverwalk - which was also a blast . We highly recommend Diane’s place ! She deserves more than 5 stars!!!

No need to continue looking. This is the best place to stay on the island. Love the location for walking to restaraunts / shops. Fishing from docks a walk away. Enjoyed playing pickle ball and roof top R&R. If you get a chance, grab some freshly filleted Grouper or Mahi back by the bay at Frenchy's Seafood Market to cook up. Kayak rentals nearby.

This is the second year we stayed at Jade's place for our girls' trip. The location is perfect for walking to the beach or bars and restaurants. Access through the keypad was very easy and convenient. There is an elevator that will stop at every level and that was so convenient for bringing our stuff up and down from the bedrooms or even bringing our games and snacks up to the rooftop in the evenings. Overall the experience was great. Thank you Jade!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful Airbnb in Clearwater, Florida! The property was well maintained, and we truly enjoyed the serene atmosphere. The pool was a fantastic addition, and we spent several days lounging and soaking up the sun. One of the highlights was the convenience of walking to the beach, as well as to nearby entertainment and excellent restaurants. Everything we needed was just a short stroll away! The balconies were perfect for enjoying our morning coffee while soaking in the views. It was also a great spot for chitchatting later in the day, adding to the overall relaxing vibe of our stay. The beds were comfortable, and everyone felt they had enough space to spread out and unwind. Lastly, our host was friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed during our visit. We can't recommend this place enough!

This was the perfect location for our family. We loved the proximity to the beach and restaurants. The place was clean and well stocked. Would love to come back.

My fiancé and I along with our dogs had a great time staying at Elaine’s place! The house & views were beautiful. We will definitely be back.

Very nice place! It had everything we needed and Jeff was kind enough to include recommendations of local options. We had two cars and thankfully could fit both in the assigned parking spot. Nicely located. Quick walk to a supermarket and a few cafes and shops. A bit of a longer walk to the downtown area but just a few minutes by car. Overall very happy with our stay.

Really accommodating hosts!!! The place was cute and the backyard is absolutely gorgeous, the best part of this stay. Ac works well thank goodness; The beds are comfortable but the sheets stay very hot. Place is clean enough to feel at home, the only thing I would say is the floors ( i have a crawling child so this stood out to me) could use a deep clean but were still obviously mopped so it was acceptable. There are most beach supplies which is so helpful, we left some sand toys. This is very family oriented stay and was wonderful with a toddler. We recommend montys pizza near here (really good pizza and a retro environment10/10) If you plan to cook often the kitchen has plenty of dishes and enough supplies to get the job done, and a regular coffee maker ( i hate k cups lol) i do hope to stay here again.

Thank you for making my family right at home. Everything was wonderful, clean, peaceful. Our stay was quick. The pool/ jacuzzi was refreshing and surrounding area clean. Overall house was very clean, exceeded our expectation and in a great location. Would definitely stay here again.

What a treasure. Everything was so clean & inviting. We have stayed at the Mermaid 2 x's when we had a larger group & this time it was us 2 our 2 furbabies. We absolutely loved the Dolphin layout. So cozy & peaceful. Liz is a such a caring fun host. We loved sitting outside of the bungalow in the mornings having our coffee & headed to Liz's private beach area during the day. We even got to watch new palm trees being planted since the hurricane damage the old ones. Aslo met nice ppl & their furbabies. We absolutely love Liz & her gorgeous establishment. Thanks Liz. See you & your furbabies next year.

We were in Tampa for my son's graduation from UT. The location was very convenient to everything we had planned. Clean and comfortable, really enjoyed having the private back yard and parking for our cars. One suggestion is to bring paper plates and cups since there is no dishwasher if you plan on cooking. Would recommend, thanks Aaron for sharing!

Home was decorated lovely and had a relaxing outdoor space. We enjoyed the proximity to Clam Bayou and many a leisurely walks around the neighborhood.

We had a wonderful stay here! It was very close to everything we wanted to do and their hospitality was phenomenal. We hope to come back and stay again sometime!

Such a beautiful stay and so close to the beach! The place was equipped with everything you could need! Will definitely be staying here again!

We would go back in a heartbeat! The house and location was perfect! Our kids loved the pool and being able to kayak and paddle board right from the dock was amazing! We saw dolphins multiple times a day and had fun fishing. The golf cart was perfect for getting to the beach and plenty of restaurants, including an ice cream shop! I would totally recommend this place!

Loved loved this airbnb! The pool was spectacular , the heated feature definitely a plus. Plenty of space and the surrounding neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Definitely coming back in the future!!

This home truly exceeded our expectations! Immaculately clean, incredibly spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed—including a generous supply of essentials like paper products and cooking spices. The serene lake and inviting pool created a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere, while the centrally located, peaceful neighborhood made our stay even more enjoyable. Each of the four beds provided exceptional comfort, and the ample living room seating easily accommodated our family of five. If you're visiting the Tampa Bay area, this rental is an absolute gem—we highly recommend it!
