Unique and exotic beach front townhouse

KrystalRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Michael was a great host always answered when we had questions left a welcome basket for us which is very rare when checking into place with a nice welcome note and gift for daughters birthday. The view was amazing from the patio and the master bedroom. The Check-in people there were not very helpful when we got there they sent us to our townhouse and forgot to give us keys almost seemed like it was someone 1st day. The valet process was not fun either we always waited over 20 minutes to get our vechile to come to find out out tahoe was next to the road not in the parking garage and they would always walk us to it they would never bring it to us that isn't valet. we did end up with some scratches and dents in our doors so make sure to look over vechile good. People kept using the emerging exit while we were there buy our room setting off the alarm causing it to go off for ours same thing at the pool areas which made things not enjoyable when your sitting there listening to beeping.

Absolutely amazing stay at this Airbnb in Fort Lauderdale! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how spacious and clean the place was. We were a group of six, including three of us experiencing Florida for the first time, and this Airbnb couldn’t have made a better impression. The layout was perfect for a group, with plenty of room to relax, and the location was just unbeatable — right across from the beach, with incredible views. One of our favorite parts was the tiki bar downstairs — such a fun and convenient spot to hang out without having to go far. And, the Mahi Mahi fingers were sooo delicious. The valet service was also a great touch, making it super easy to come and go without any stress. We loved exploring the nearby restaurants and beachside spots, all just a short walk away. The host was fantastic — clear, friendly, and communicative every step of the way. The instructions were easy to follow, and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Ov

Stylish Coastal Stay ☀ Ideal Zoom Background

SosenaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Robyn’s beach house is adorable! The vintage furniture and the fixtures, as well as her space use clearly shows she has put a lot of thought into creating a fun, and comfortable place with great taste. You will have everything you need for staying in ( I cooked and stayed indoors at night) as well as for spending time at the beach in comfort. The bed is very comfortable, the sheets and the pillows are excellent. WiFi is great, AC and fan work well (loud AC noise!). The house is in a quiet neighborhood of similar rental houses and a short walking distance to the beach, there is a dedicated parking spot. This is a great location! Robyn is a wonderful host to interact with- she is super friendly, responds promptly, is accommodating and someone who takes her hosting responsibilities seriously with such gracious attitude- she is a real Superhost! I definitely will return and highly recommend her place to anyone who may be going to the area.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Javier's home. The house was a bit old and very well-kept, so quite charming. The garden was very pretty, and the kitchen had all that we needed to cook in it. Javier & his brother Pablo were very responsive and friendly if we had any questions. The only downside was a couple stray ants in the kitchen & bathroom. We would definitely stay here again!

New Listing: 3BR Near Brickell and Coconut Grove

LouiseRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The only thing better than this immaculate well-appointed property was the thoughtfulness of its hosts! Located in the up-and-coming Shenandoah neighborhood of Coral Gables, the property is newly renovated with a clean modern design aesthetic, comfy beds, and linens, and every amenity provided. Bern and Uche were outstanding hosts, responding instantly to every need or query with great cheer and professionalism. While previous reviewers mentioned privacy issues with the expansively windowed living area, we found the frosted glass and pull down shades provided all the privacy one could want - and while I’ll admit the open concept en-suite primary bedroom and bath was novel, I myself don’t have a problem showering within peekaboo distance of someone I’m sharing a bed with - I just used the other bathroom when complete solitude was necessary! Would definitely stay here again.

The Bungalow on Wilton Drive. Huge Front Porch

SteveRating, 5 stars2 days ago
My partner and I live in the same neighborhood as this home. We had a number of friends in town for a week and not enough beds for everyone, so we reserved Derek's place as a "guest house". This will now be our go-to plan for anytime we have company - it worked perfectly! This home is an absolute gem. The front porch is such a nice place for morning coffee or chatting with others. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the bathrooms are spotless. (I can put up with a lot from a vacation rental, but if the beds and bath aren't up to my standards, nothing can make up for that. No such worries at this place!) We could not have been happier with Derek's level of communication and helpful info, both before and during our friends' stay. We love having this home and our neighborhood and Derek is a very conscientious property owner and host. We will definitely continue to make use of this beautiful home for our next gathering of friends and family. Thank you, Derek!

Your guide to Fort Lauderdale

Introduction

Glitzy Miami and posh Palm Beach may buzz with celebrity sightings, but visitors more interested in relaxing in Southern Florida’s legendary sunshine gravitate to Fort Lauderdale in Broward County. There’s still a certain level of luxury to be found here — the waterfront mansions and mansion-sized yachts are proof of that — Fort Lauderdale is more laidback than its big-name neighbors.

The city’s 165 miles of waterways have earned it the nickname the “Venice of America,” and you’ll likely stay or dine along the water. Be sure to stroll the Riverwalk, located in a popular arts and culture district, and hop on the Water Taxi, which brings you from the beach to the trendy shops and restaurants of the Las Olas neighborhood.

While you could spend all your time sprawled out on the soft-sand beach, there are also historic homes, excellent museums, nature centers, and state parks within easy reach. And when the sun goes down, lively stretches of beach bars, dance clubs, and salty dives light up the night.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale’s busy season is between December and April, but a year-round average temperature of 77 degrees Fahrenheit means it’s always a good time to stay in one of the area’s vacation rentals. There are essentially two seasons in this subtropical destination. The wet season lasts from April through October and brings humid weather and temperatures in the high 80s, as well as occasional heavy rain showers and a chance of hurricanes. Mild winds and ocean breezes cool things off, but even the nights are hot, so you’ll want to pack light, loose clothing. In the dry season, expect daytime temperatures in the mid-70s; in December and January, you may even want a light jacket and a sweater, because low temperatures can dip to 60 degrees.

Top things to do in Fort Lauderdale

The beaches

Greater Fort Lauderdale boasts 23 miles of beautiful, wide, golden-sand beaches. In Fort Lauderdale proper, Fort Lauderdale Beach Park features a playground, volleyball and basketball courts, and picnic areas. Head north along the shore and you’ll reach popular Las Olas Beach and its bustling promenade lined with beach bars and souvenir shops. Continue along the promenade (or the shore) and you’ll hit calmer Fort Lauderdale Beach.

Boat tours

One of the best ways to experience Fort Lauderdale is on the water, whether it’s a canal tour through quiet residential waterways and past the mansions and private yachts of Millionaire’s Row, or a cruise up the New River where the city abruptly gives way to nature. You may even encounter the occasional manatee.

Everglades National Park

Everglades National Park is just over an hour’s drive southwest of Fort Lauderdale. Take a classic airboat tour through parts of the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States in search of wading birds and alligators.
