Our cabin is called La Libellule. It is a wonderful little cabin on Lake Martin in Breaux Bridge, La. Amenities include a king size bed, screened in porch, shaded deck, fire pit, washer, dryer, 2 tvs, internet and a full kitchen. There are generally fresh herbs in the garden depending on what time of year you come. The dragon flys are glorious here and if you are lucky you can see a pinkish red one. There is a lovely walking trail nearby.

Jarrid and his wife were excellent hosts. They responded to us very quickly when we had questions; if there was something we needed, and it was not readily available, Jared took care of it by getting what we needed to us very quickly. For example, I asked if there was possibly a stand-up mirror somewhere I could use and so he just dropped one off for us. His communication was far above and beyond, the place looked exactly like the pictures and was very clean and neat. They were as accommodating as they could possibly be, and we would definitely stay with them again when in Lafayette.

Great place to stay for us and our big dog. Did a lot of walking and exploring, looking for wildlife. did a lot of birding - it was awesome. there's a marsh behind the house and a bayou across the road in front. saw some gators and beavers paddling around. we also visited the state park just down the road. nice boardwalk and of course more birding and beavers. Did not get to see black bears. Maybe next time. Had everything we needed. got to watch a storm roll in over the bay. Really enjoyed our stay. Will happily return and highly recommend.

The Crawfish Compound was perfect for our extended family stay. The houses were beautifully decorated and the kitchens were well stocked. Multiple kitchens and washers and dryers. The beds and linens were upscale and very comfortable. The courtyard was perfect for relaxing with family. We could not be happier with our stay for a long weekend. Check-in was simple and the homeowners were very accommodating to our every request. Lots of books, toys and puzzles for the kids and outdoor activities. The houses were even better than we expected and had plenty of space for parking multiple cars. Very clean and we felt comfortable and safe. We will be back next year.

We felt so fortunate that our previous booking fell through when we arrived in Lafayette and Paz was so kind to accept our request and organize her cleaners right away to prepare the place for us. We felt right at home with the comfortable furnishings, eclectic decor, well stocked kitchen, and patio spaces. One of our (adult) daughters said that we may have lost a pool (the previous booking) but we gained a treehouse (which is really more our style). Paz and her son Eli were quick to respond to our requests, and we couldn’t have been more happy with our stay.
