Vacation rentals with a kayak in Lake Conroe

Pretty much exactly as the listing advertised. We spent most of our time in this space either congregating on one of the three porches, or around the pool table playing games. The table has leaf inserts that were easy to find and made this the perfect gathering spot indoors when outside became too warm for the ceiling fans alone. The beds were comfortable, and we were able to adjust the vents and A/C to accommodate a fairly wide range of comfort levels. I was very impressed with the quantity and quality of pots, pans, utensils and Tupperware available. Our group did a good amount of cooking and it was a very easy kitchen to use.

Judith was very informative and an absolute wonderful hostess. The house was just as described and a very wonderful place to be away. We really enjoyed the screened in porch facing the canal. And it was a great location for us to be able to pull the boat up and tie off at the bank right at the house. There was so much to do. We will definitely be staying here again!

Lisa was very responsive and the house was great. A few people who stayed with us wanted the house information for future visits. I would rent here again.

My family of 7 loved this house on the lake! We booked it for a wedding so they didn’t get to enjoy the amenities like they wanted to but everyone talked about how beautiful it was. They all loved the space and how everything was clean and accommodating. They would definitely come back again and enjoy everything Rebecca has to offer.

We loved staying here the place was clean with beautiful view of the lake , lots of sitting areas outside and even a fireplace for s’mores . Had great amenities we had so much fun using the kayaks and paddle boards . Kitchen had everything we needed including a big table that sits around 10 people great for family gatherings, we did not travel with our kids but it was great to see that it was very kid friendly it had everything you need to take care of them and to entertain them . The living room couch was so comfortable with lots of space to entertain everyone . The bedrooms are clean and spacious and the beds are very comfortable we felt right at home we had extra blankets and lots of towels . We also liked that they had life jackets like I said they had everything you needed for a lake trip and you don’t have to pack so much and lots of parking we had 6 cars in the driveway . Very quiet neighborhood and easy to get around .

This was our second time to stay. Both times were perfect. The house is clean and has everything you need. The hosts are very nice and responsive.

This was the BEST vacation home and the perfect way to kick off our summer. The kids loved the lake house and the location was perfect. We had a great time on the lake, plus the community pool was pristine and has a gorgeous lake view. There were plenty of beds and all accommodations were comfy. Quiet nights on the screened in porch swing were so peaceful. My family already wants to come back. The hosts are friendly and helpful! 10/10 🌊

Margaret’s place was perfect for our short get away, our young adults enjoyed the lake with the Kayak’s , the inflatable for 5 was very fun, playing corn hole and enjoying the beautiful weather ! Breakfast at the patio bar was very enjoyable!

The house was amazing and perfect for what our group was looking for. The inside and especially the outside area made it a great place to spend time with friends, cook, and decompress from a fun day at the lake. We hope to use this place again in the future for our group when we visit Lake Livingston.

It was a great get away for my son. He loved the canoe and the fire pit. The dogs had a great time as well. It was very peaceful and had everything we needed.

it was such a a great stay. my family and I had a wonderful time. The cottage is very nice, clean and cozy. Sarah is super responsive and she was such a great host. we will definitely be back.

Amy was an amazing and responsive host. She answered all questions immediately and offered some great experiences and options while planning the weekend. And it was a wonderful weekend! The property and amenities were just as they were described and we enjoyed it all - even the outdoor movie screen. The view was breathtaking and the surroundings relaxing. Love the well-stocked kitchen and labels! We will definitely return if the opportunity presents itself.

My husband and I absolutely loved this place . It’s right by the river and we spent all weekend fishing. The host was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back

The good: there are plenty of games and water toys to keep you occupies and having fun, the beds are comfy, there is good seating for the amount of sleeping, the boat launch is super helpful with the kayaks. the not so good: the walls are thin, the rooms are tiny, barely bigger than the bed, not a lot of dressing room if that matters to you.

Our week-long stay at Franklin's home was truly amazing. The house is incredibly beautiful, clearly built with love and attention to every detail, which you notice from the moment you arrive. Every part of the house felt cozy and private. The upper terrace was perfect for bird watching, dining, and reading. The Jacuzzi was extremely comfortable and a great way to spend time with the kids. The fire pit was splendid, and there were so many places for barbecuing. The dock had everything we needed for fishing, kayaking, and enjoying the water. The surrounding nature was stunning, with beautiful sunsets every evening and a variety of bird species. We even spotted a crocodile, turtles, and plenty of fish in the water. Our family was so captivated by the experience that we didn't want to leave, and my son keeps asking when we can return. Thank you, Franklin, for allowing us to stay in your incredible home!

It was great, we loved it and had a great time. They were ver nice and friendly, also very helpful.

We have friends in the neighborhood that we try to visit pretty regularly and this spot is perfect. Lots of outdoor activities in and around the property. Also they had a golf cart that made it really nice to go back and forth to our friend's place nearby. Definitely looking forward to staying here again.

Place was clean, we had a great time. The other house on the property was a lot closer than I thought it would be, but other than that, the area was great. No complaints about the house at all, and Merridee was a helpful host.

I absolutely loved it! The view is beautiful. It's quiet and relaxing. It's a perfect getaway for yourself or for a couple's getaway. I would book this location again without hesitation.

The cabin was so lovely! The space was beautiful, clean and peaceful. I enjoyed my stay for my birthday weekend getaway, it was the perfect spot. The host was very friendly and communicated effectively. Make sure to carry a strong flashlight because it gets pitch dark at night but so lovely during the day! It’s also much better in person! I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to get out of the city.

My friend and I enjoyed 3 nights sitting on the dock swings fishing. It was a beautiful location. The cabin was quite nice and had everything we needed. The beds were clean and comfortable. Nice shower. We would definitely stay again. Thank you both for a great stay!
