Family-friendly vacation rentals in Hot Springs

Miners Cabin was a very nice place. It had beautiful scenery, it was peaceful and relaxing after a day if sightseeing in the local tourist areas and enjoyed seeing wildlife while staying there. The hot tub was a great for the grandkids and adults as well. Really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time. The home was spacious and clean. It was very close to the downtown area, which made its location ideal.

We spent New Year's at Julie’s cabin, and it was a wonderful experience. The cabin was very clean, and Julie, the host, was incredibly responsive to our requests, even when I asked her a late-night question on our first night. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

We had a great stay! Things were as advertised and very comfortable for our family. The kitchen, which we used often, was well equipped and clean. The beds were comfy and roomy. The children enjoyed the basement room, with its games and toys. We used the hot tub once. It was also clean with towels by the door. My only complaint would be the hot water & water pressure situation. Only one person could shower at a time and only for a few minutes until the hot water was getting cold. It was a minor inconvenience to not be able to shower while the washer or dishwasher or another person was showering.

Paula and her family are wonderful hosts. They stay in the small home on property and you really don’t even know they are there. Paula shows the best amount hospitality. Stella ,their dog is the sweetest. They keep her on their part of the property. The cabin is one of the cleanest airbnbs I’ve stayed in. Paula keeps a fully supplied kitchen with all you would need, if you like to cook your own meals. There’s a little ‘echo’ for playing your favorite music. Out in the backyard is a great hot tub. Privacy and having a peaceful experience is their M.O. We certainly had a peaceful and private experience. Paula makes great recommendations for anywhere you’d like to go from sight seeing & hiking to meals out. We went to the best coffee place in town on her recommendation and had to go everyday from the first time on. We went everyday for 1 week. It was the Hermosa Coffee house. The owner is super hospitable, she works with her daughters. She makes her own pastry. The maple bacon cinnamon roll is the best! The coffee is superb. Back to the house, the backyard is where we spent mornings reading and nights star gazing. The cabin is also central to lots of great South Dakota highlights, Custer state park, Mount Rushmore, the badlands, keystone, rock hunting, and downtown Custer. We would definitely stay again. We found South Dakota to take pride in being caring for others and hospitable. We loved our vacation. We loved our stay in Paula’s family cabin.

The house was as described and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment we needed. The views were amazing and we saw a few deer wandering around, too. We would definitely recommend - it was perfect for a group of six (3 adult couples), with room to spare!

Fantastic cabin! Great private place for your getaway. Scenery is wonderful. Beds are comfy & plenty of space for a decent sized group.

Highly recommend Wayne's place!! Great location for walking to/from restaurants and casinos. This was a sxs trip for us; plenty of space to park our trailer onsite and great location for jumping on the trails right from the house. The house was nice and spacious for three couples and enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of riding. We hope to be back!!

The apartment was very convenient to downtown where we walked to restaurants and shopping. In addition, the apartment’s location made it easy to access interstate and other roads making travel easy and convenient. After a day of sightseeing, was great to come back and relax at Richard’s place. .

It was the 2 time staying in Custer during the rally. The 3 of us agreed it was the best. It was so comfortable and relaxing when we were at the cabin It was the best night sleep the beds are great!!! I would highly recommend the cabin & next time I hope to rent this place again!!!

We enjoyed our stay with Ryan! The place was clean and organized and the neighborhood was quiet. We loved utilizing the fenced in yard for our dogs and the views weren’t bad either. The location was great and we could get to where we needed in a decent amount of time. Will definitely keep in mind to stay again!

This place is great if you have a bigger group staying in deadwood! It is in a great location and everything we wanted to do was a very short distance! It also was far enough off the main drag to be nice and peaceful.

This a very relaxing place. we enjoyed our stay especially enjoyed the propane fire pit and chairs out back. It was do calming looking up into the pine trees with the sound of the streaming the background. The beds were comfortable and there were nice touches throughout the entire home. we would definitely recommend. ❤️

Anthony's place is very nice. Deer and Turkeys in the back yard along with a beautiful creek. it was easy to find with the help of GPS. watch for deer on the gravel road. a little over an hour or so to the sites, very close to Deadwood and just a short drive to Wyoming. One of our favorite stays and trips.

Kyndra was super flexible and allowed us to check in early. Our family had a comfortable stay and would definitely book here again!

Great experience to sleep in a Tipi. We even woke up and saw a couple deer as we got out of the Tipi. The best part of the stay was the host who was so helpful and friendly. We received some great suggestions from the host on what we could see on our drive. Very helpful.

Great Cozy cabin. Kitchen has a nice selection of essentials supplies. May want to bring paper plates/cups if you have kids and don’t want to use glass dishes. Bring your own Hot Tub towels if larger then 5 are staying, if you would like everyone to have their own as they only supply enough for how many it holds. Clubhouse was great addition but the location is down the hill and around the corner, not adjacent/across the street. Be prepared for steep driveway and lots of stairs. Quick drive to town and Terry Peak.

Excellent value and totally as described/pictured! Communication was great and the electronic deadbolt worked easily. Beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. There were a couple nit-picky things that could have been better: Several dishes in the cabinets were clearly not washed, not a light in the place had a dimmer (we ended up unscrewing a bunch of bulbs to compensate), and the steam room in the clubhouse doesn't work (big bummer for me). But overall we had a great time and would recommend!

Cloud 9 was conveniently located close to Lead and the beautiful Spearfish Canyon and had great accommodations for our group of 16. It was also an easy drive to Jewel Cave, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, and Devils Tower National Monument. There were some neighbors who liked to play loud and very awful music in the very early morning hours, but that only happened several nights. We would stay again!

The host was extremely helpful and responsive. The cabin was just far enough away from amenities that it was peaceful, but close enough to be convenient. Enjoyed our stay tremendously and would recommend!

Awesome place with incredible views and the best hospitality from the hosts! Will definitely be back....

Great place to stay had a lot of fun

We loved our stay in Hill City! The house was cute and clean with a little backyard for our small dog. We even had deer visit us every night! It is walkable to town and very close to the best food at Alpine Inn. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was a Christmas Gift to our kids and grandkids. We all had our own place to sleep. 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. The kitchen and dining area was a bit small for 12 people, but we made it work. The grandkids and parents enjoyed the pool!
