House vacation rentals in Holualoa

We have stayed here before. The host is very responsive whenever I reach out. The place is in a nice neighborhood. Safe to go for a walk or a run. Beds are comfortable and has all necessities. Most likely will be back in town for work in the future and will be staying here if available.

Chelsea was out of town yet was immediately responsive to messages dealing with a couple of minor glitches; it helped that the owner lives nearby. Place overall was great. Lack of air conditioning (it was not hot, but the upstairs did warm up in the April afternoons) was offset by the private pool, a better way to cool off than by refrigerating the house. Nice layout for two couples, one upstairs with the larger bedroom and large en suite bath, the other downstairs with two smaller bedrooms and a bath, so we each had good private space. Only drawback was the downstairs rooms seemed a bit enclosed, although all had windows. Nice large lanai and the landscaping around the pool made it feel especially private. Be sure to investigate the pantry and shelves before shopping...the place was very well supplied when we arrived. We would definitely stay again if we're in Kona!

We had an amazing time at Joe and Anna’s place! The location was ideal, tucked in a quiet area but still close to shops, restaurants, and everything we needed. The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything you’d want in an Airbnb. The kitchen had all the utensils and essentials for easy cooking, and the pool was perfect for our kids, especially with the fun pool toys that were already there. Joe and Anna were incredibly kind and responsive, always quick to answer any questions. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. It really felt like a home away from home, and we’d absolutely stay here again!

Marilyn's place is flawless. My husband and I have been booking places through airbnb for a while and this was definitely the best one ever. I am very picky with cleanliness, and this place was spotless. Craig the home caretaker made sure to gave us all the information we needed, show us around, besides being super nice and friendly. The view from this tiny house was incredible, the place was exactly like the pictures, comfortable and had everything we needed. Marilyn's hospitality was amazing. She left us fresh fruit from her garden and a delicious cake on the fridge for when we arrived. Both Craig and Marilyn made us feel welcomed and made our experience perfect. We hope to come back someday.

I’d give 6 stars if I could! We booked Alexey’s place with our family of 4 - including our 3 and 1 year old and the house was the MVP of our trip. It’s beautiful and has pretty much anything you could ask for. The location is super close to everything in Kona and the pool was wonderful to come back to after spending the day at the beaches. Alexey was a great host. Highly recommend this house if you are traveling to the big island.

The house, which is very spacious, is located in a quiet residential neighborhood (the only real noise is from the many birds), which is five minutes from a grocery store and some restaurants in Waikoloa Village, and there are many restaurants, beaches, and things to do within a 30-minute drive; downtown Kailua-Kona is 45 minutes, and Volcanoes National Park and Hilo are about two hours (but easy driving everywhere, except for typical urban traffic congestion in Kona). The landscaping is amazing, and the backyard with a swimming pool is extremely private. It is also west-facing, so you get gorgeous sunsets with a slight ocean view (the property is inland). The AC units (for which there is an extra charge) are only in the bedrooms, so the house gets stuffy during the day, but cools off quickly in the evening. We had one minor maintenance issue, but the host, Andy, was responsive and addressed it quickly. We would definitely return if we have a future trip to the Big Island.

We had an amazing stay here and would definitely come back. It's a beautiful home with lots of amenities. I already miss it!

Fantastic stay for our first time on big island. Keoni’s place was awesome. Updated everything,Tons of space, ac was great. Nice outdoor spaces for morning and evening. Also close 5-10 drive to shopping, grocery and restaurants. 15-20 minutes to best beaches on island. And honestly Spencer beach park was our favorite. 20 minutes, soft sand, small waves, tons of shade. Would stay at Keoni’s place again in a heartbeat. Mahalo for a great stay Keoni.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Justin‘s place. It is very spacious and we were a family of five. My mom, my husband and my two daughters. The kitchen was fully stacked, and the mattresses were super comfortable. The snorkeling gear was a little old so we ended up buying our own gear. The area was great. Very close to a swimming beach and a beach for snorkeling. Justin was very responsive. Always replied right away and very helpful. We hope to come back someday soon!

A great place that fits our family needs- convenient location with toys and towels for sand play and washer/dryer available in the shared garage. Bring your own hair conditioner if you need to use it.

Lovely location, thoughtful amenities and a wonderful Lanai, (porch) where we were able to sit and have breakfast or best, view the sunsets every night.

We loved our stay at Chris’ place. The house was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location.

Loved our stay! Walkable to town, gorgeous grounds, functional kitchen, friendly and helpful staff and large lanai for eating outdoors. The only issue we had was the internet kept going out (three times during our stay). The internet service provider for the resort is an external 3rd party so this isn’t something the property had control over. Each time we had to call the isp to have the internet restored, which they did.

First of all, the area was amazing!! Manini beach was literally a 2-3 minute walk down the road for great snorkeling (gear is provided, if you need it) with a path for some amazing sunsets. There are a couple of fruit stands in the neighborhood, which was great for my mother’s daily banana stroll. You can see the bay from the amazing lanai that we spent so much time on to watch the snorkelers, kayakers and dolphins. The house itself was great! Split into half, with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on either side, separated by an open concept living room and kitchen. The dining room is outside…where else would you want to sit down and eat? There were A/Cs in the bedrooms if you needed them, but the ocean breeze was usually enough for most of my party. There were lots of spices in the cabinets for cooking and some staples leftover from past renters. The long, winding and narrow roads make some great scenery, but also make your trip to anywhere else a bit long. I would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed and felt like a true home away from home. The hosts were wonderful—easy to communicate with, super helpful, and very responsive throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Our family had a great time and made some really special memories here. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a smooth, stress-free stay!

Coconut Cottage was absolutely wonderful! A perfect, little hidden gem! The location could not have been better for our teen son and his friends. The cottage was exactly as described and offered everything we needed for our stay. We suffered a family emergency while there, and Susan was so understanding in assisting with our immediate needs. I am so sad that we had to cut our vacation short, but we cannot wait to return!

LeeAnne was an outstanding host! Bonus points for how extremely responsive and accommodating she was for our staycation with our friends! Great communication, thoughtfulness, and preparation of her wonderful home! Coming from Hawaii rice is a staple food and we eat it with almost every meal, I had asked LeeAnne if she had a rice cooker and at that she did not, I had told her it was ok if she didn’t have one and we can cook it old school with just a pot, but When we arrived at the home she had gone out to purchase one to accommodate us! A host that goes out of their way to buy a rice cooker even though she didn’t need to was just amazing! We felt valued that she kept in mind that locals like ourselves would love a rice cooker to cook rice for their meals. LeeAnne’s home was very clean, comfortable, and accommodating with a very beautiful view. The home is picturesque, private, and in a great location perched on the hills of Kailua Kona. 10/10 would definitely recommend! We will back!!!

Jon’s home was the perfect getaway for our vacation. It was cozy, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable — everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The view from the patio was absolutely stunning and quickly became our favorite spot to unwind and our morning tea. Jon was also a fantastic host, offering great local recommendations that really enhanced our trip. We’d love to come back!

Such a wonderful place to stay. We would love to come back and stay again. It’s close to the beaches, grocery and food. Beautiful view of the golf course. There were cute little goats to watch also! The beds were large and comfy and all the appliances were far beyond standard! Really enjoyed this location.

We had a great stay. Very spacious with tons of windows, a lovely view, and sea breezes. The interior garden space with its bubbling fountain made everything so peaceful. Perfect for a group of 3 or 4.

Delphine and Guy were amazing hosts! Helpful and hospitable from beginning to end. We will definitely be staying again in the future. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a more personal, private experience on this island. Amazing views all around. Quiet, unique nature. All together an experience my family will never forget!

This airbnb was fabtastic. The home felt breezy and was very clean. There were 5 of us and we never felt like we were on top of each other. The home was fully stocked with anything we needed to cook and plenty of beach towels. The home is nearby plenty of sites and restaraunts but far enough away that it felt peaceful. Charles is a wondeful and responsive host!

We had a spectacular stay. The home is located near the best beaches on the big island as well as resorts if you want to grab a day pass. It’s located equally between Kona and Hilo with easy access to the north of the island. The home is stocked with everything you would need for an island vacation, with access to grocery stores and restaurants within five minutes. The longest trip was to the volcano, but we did it easily in a day trip. Jeff was very responsive and his listing is full of recommendations. I truly cannot recommend this home enough. If I could build a replica where I live, I would. It’s truly an oasis. My kids and I absolutely loved it. Jeff really thought of everything in the home that you would need. As a bonus, the internet was perfect for movies after a long day of adventures. There’s a beautiful sunset view from the deck and master, as well as a water fountain that is the best way to start and end the day. 100/10 stay!

We enjoyed staying at Shawn’s place, the beds were comfortable and the home was well appointed. The deck was great for views of Kona, and it was super close to the airport. There are also several grocery stores, restaurants and beaches nearby. Shawn was a great host and I highly recommend booking this Airbnb.
