Cozy lower level Ohana apartment, with ocean view, in our home on our 4 acre family farm in the Ohia cloud forest of Kaloko Mauka. We are located at 2,000 feet up enjoying cooler weather and a unique microclimate just above Kona. We are a 10 minute drive to the nearest beach, 8 minutes to Costco and restaurants, and 15-20 minutes to Kona town. It is a private one bed, one bath with its own separate entrance and parking. It has a kitchenette with full fridge/freezer, and a mini washer and dryer.

Tropical Fruit Farm Retreat

Mele Ka ‘Āina Farm is a 2 acre sustainable tropical jungle homestead bursting with avocados, pineapples, lilikoi, coffee, bananas, kava and many exotic fruits on the western slope of Mauna Loa with sunset view into the ocean. Only five minutes drive to the Captain Cook Monument Trailhead that leads you to pristine marine preserve of Kealakekua Bay with exceptional snorkeling. Nearby village has shopping, dining and beaches. Outdoor jungle shower. Great for couples, friends and solo adventurers.

Gated Tropical Retreat in Kailua Kona with Hot Tub

The Kona Palm Retreat is a private villa that’s a 5-minute drive from Kailua Kona town. The accommodation is private and well appointed. You have your own completely furnished apartment with its own tropical gardens and outdoor seating. There are no shared spaces. Our accommodations are very clean and well furnished, the Hot tub and BBQ area are only for you and your guests and are not shared. Monica and I live upstairs, we rarely see our guests and we respect our guests privacy.

We are just above Kailua-Kona town, and only about 12-15 minutes to shopping, and about 15 minutes to the closest beach and only 20 minutes to the airport. You will LOVE our panoramic ocean and coastline view, plus on clear days you can see Mount Hualalai right behind us, plus a beautiful coffee farm too. Read our reviews!
