Laura’s place is absolutely fantastic. I was curious why she had such fabulous reviews. Then I stayed there and quickly understood. Everything is just perfect. The views are wonderful. It’s incredibly remote and VERY quiet. There are many outdoor spaces to enjoy. There’s the porch off the bedroom, the porch off the living room, a porch swing by the grill, the picnic table area and the fire pit. That’s not even including the large living space inside. The cabin was modern, we loved the jacuzzi and the bed was very very comfortable. I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here. It’s a fabulous spot.

This spacious home plus the bunkhouse beautifully hosted our three-generation group of 9. The setting is spectacular and the home’s indoor and outdoor amenities were enjoyed by all. We played games in the great room, sweated in the sauna, jumped in the cold lake, soaked in the hot tub, told stories around the fire ring, cooked delicious meals in the well-appointed kitchen and slept soundly in comfortable beds. We biked around Miners Lake and into town. Everyone enjoyed the International Wolf Center and challenging hikes or runs on easily accessible trails. Our two dogs kept the resident chipmunks on their toes and enjoyed exploring new trails with us.

We loved this place! The location is beautiful! The home was equipped with absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay! Between 3 adults and 3 kids under 5, we all slept better here than at home. It was wonderful and we will be back!

Absolutely gorgeous cabin, really close to some great hiking too! The outdoor tub was great for some stargazing and the wood stove kept the place nice and cozy. I absolutely plan on returning

We had a amazing stay! Very beautiful and quiet location, the sauna and environment were just what we needed to relax. Close to a immense of amount of locations for every type of mood. Really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of normal life.

Booked this last minute but Kayla was super responsive and flexible to have let us stay on such short notice! Easy to find and access with clear instructions. Place was beautiful, great scenery to wake up to in the morning! Peaceful, clean, and quiet.

Great place to stay for one night. The sauna and pool were very nice.

Beautiful place and location. We loved the cabin’s kitschy personality. Yes the stairs are steep but we were anticipating that based on other reviews. It worked out fine for us. We had small dogs with us that were carried up and down the stairs when went to bed in the evening. Couple small things would have made the stay a little more comfortable. A few board games for rainy days. A couple basic cooking items like oil, sugar and garlic powder. The pillows are pretty beat up and could use replacing. All of these things are pretty easily overlooked though for the location alone. Woodsy and magical and so close to Big Bay Town Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in this beautifully crafted cabin.

This Airbnb was a perfect place for a larger group due to the spacious and well planned space. Everything was high quality and felt built to last, which seems rarer and rarer nowadays. We used the pool/hot tub and pickleball facilities. Pool+hot tub were a nice size and there was plenty of seating. We enjoyed the pickleball but the paddles did seem aged. It would be nice for the resort group to implement self check in for the ease of the guests but Crystal at the front desk was a friendly face.

We stayed here with our four kiddos for a brief spring break getaway. While the snow wasn’t there this year we had plenty of spaces and places to spread out and explore. We would definitely consider coming back again!

This is a wonderful off grid get away. We did a winter trip and pulled sleds with skis. Brought in water, coffee, and food. Made fires in the stoves for heat, and had a couple great saunas with cold plunges in the lake. Everything required work which is what my group was looking for. Wood to split, fires to feed, and lanterns to see at night. Close enough to ski back to the car and head to Ely anytime we wanted. Would recommend for unplugging from the busy world. Still had cell service if needed, but we stayed on airplane mode for the most part.

Just as before. It was a wonderful stay. This time with deer walking through the front & back yard!! Such a beautiful location! Hope to come back soon.

Cottage 5 was perfect for a cozy and quiet getaway. Very spacious and clean, also had pretty much everything you would need. Plus the ice cream gift, was a great treat! Thank you!!

Beautiful spot, friendly owners. could be mentioned in the listing that you have to share the amenities with the other cabins. Area was beautiful the beach was great.

This cabin was peaceful, cozy, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. We really appreciated all the thoughtful amenities. The short walk to the nearby stream was a lovely bonus—such a relaxing setting!

A great spot to enjoy the outdoors and feel like you have the island all to yourself. Quiet and secluded with a beautiful couple of nearby hikes that lead right up to the water.

Beautiful lake view and a great stay overall. Check-in was easy, and Luke was very responsive and accommodating. The home was clean, spacious, and well-stocked. We enjoyed the bonfire, cozy fireplaces, and appreciated the baby gates for safety. The older kids loved exploring by the lake. Would definitely stay again!
