Cabin vacation rentals in Minnesota

This is a wonderful off grid get away. We did a winter trip and pulled sleds with skis. Brought in water, coffee, and food. Made fires in the stoves for heat, and had a couple great saunas with cold plunges in the lake. Everything required work which is what my group was looking for. Wood to split, fires to feed, and lanterns to see at night. Close enough to ski back to the car and head to Ely anytime we wanted. Would recommend for unplugging from the busy world. Still had cell service if needed, but we stayed on airplane mode for the most part.

I was not able to enjoy the dock or lake due to the weather. Other cabin guests walk through my lot space and came up to my window and looked in on me, I didn’t care for that but not the hosts fault. but this isn’t a very private a spot of that is what you are looking for. Others fish and hand out on your dock and have random boats tied to the dock. I am uncertain if they are shared socks, but I was under the impression it was for the cabin I rented. Other than that, the cabin is cute, clean and close to the water.

It is a beautiful and super cozy place. We spent some very nice days❤️❤️. Just one recommendation: leave the shower open for a few minutes before using it, since the first water that comes out has a slightly unpleasant smell. I imagine it is due to the little use of the property.

Stayed here while daugther's nordic team was skiing at Maplelag. Just 10 minutes from the Maplelag trails and a cozy, clean and comfortable cabin. Beds were great, view was lovely. Would highly recommend.

The Castaway provides a wonderful place to getaway. Comfortable for staying in or being outside. Lots of options for restaurants, shopping, going for walks, or relaxing. Vicky and John are Minnesota Nice!! Always!!!

Absolutely gorgeous place the pictures don’t do it justice. Roxanne was amazing, friendly and responsive. Neighbors are also super great everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Location was so peaceful we got some really nice fishing out of it too! Overall 10/10 will be back if we’re ever in town again!

We had the most amazing weekend girls trip at this beautiful cabin on Maple Lake! The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and stocked with all the necessities we needed. It’s tucked away in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The hot tub was a definite highlight, and we loved spending time by the calm lake waters, especially with the beautiful weather we were lucky to have. It truly was the perfect getaway, and we’re already talking about coming back!

My wife and I stayed at Hygge Hideaway for a long weekend and we had such an amazing time. It was perfect for a secluded getaway away with nothing but the birds chirping to wake you in the morning! It really was relaxing and peaceful! Noah was a great communicator and was very helpful!

This was our second stay at Trout Creek Cabin and, once again, was completely amazing. There's nothing better when it comes to the location of this property, nestled in amongst the cliffs with the most beautiful scenery and wildlife. The cabin is always super clean and cozy with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Suzette and Andrew are kind and hospitable! LOVE this place...we will be back again and again. It's truly a slice of heaven.

We had a wonderful stay at the Carpenters cabin! A beautifully peaceful getaway in a very cozy cabin. The lake is very quiet and has lots of wildlife to watch. Very private location and loads of space between you and the neighbors that share this little lake. The only bummer was the hot tub was broken while we were there. But there are so many other activities that kept us busy here we didn’t even miss the hot tub! Such a beautiful and private place and we would definitely stay again!

Laura’s place is absolutely fantastic. I was curious why she had such fabulous reviews. Then I stayed there and quickly understood. Everything is just perfect. The views are wonderful. It’s incredibly remote and VERY quiet. There are many outdoor spaces to enjoy. There’s the porch off the bedroom, the porch off the living room, a porch swing by the grill, the picnic table area and the fire pit. That’s not even including the large living space inside. The cabin was modern, we loved the jacuzzi and the bed was very very comfortable. I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here. It’s a fabulous spot.

1. Favorite: The beds were super comfy… u will get a great night sleep any of the 4 beds that are here… we all loved it. The beds were amazing.. High-lights: 2. Good time snowmobiling and ice fishing on the lake. 3. Relaxing in the hot tub at 10pm, 20° outside with many stars in the sky…

We needed to find immediate accommodations quite late at night. Luckily, our host was super helpful and made the whole process a breeze. She was a lifesaver! Our visit was absolutely amazing. The location and accommodations were aesthetically pleasing and perfectly aligned with our requirements. We sure hope we will visit again!

Garrett’s place was so cozy and cute! We loved relaxing there with our little family. The hot tub feels private without neighbors being able to see you. The beds are nice (primary bedroom bed is super plush, but you can take the mattress topper cover off if that doesn’t work for your back). We loved walking to the restaurant in the evenings and playing darts and enjoying their specials. You can see the lake from the cabin windows, and the sunset from the kitchen. There were a lot of hospitable details that we really appreciated.

David gave us excellent directions which was very helpful as his cabin is secluded in the woods at the end of Six Mile Lake. When we arrived and saw the outside of the old log cabin, the large fire pit and view of the lake we were thrilled. It is just lovely. Once inside we again were very happy to see the authenticity of the place. The kitchen is so fun with its retro appliances. The living room had a comfortable sofa and two old chairs. On the wall next to the stairs that went to the loft were two bunk beds. The loft was extremely roomy with a comfortable queen bed (just a little firm), dressers and a large chair with ottoman. The bathroom on the lower level had the old claw and foot tub with a nice shower head. This place is loaded with whatever you would need although you may have to do a little searching. The only concern was that our small dog could fall through the loft stairs as there are no risers so just be careful there. Beautiful dock with five canoes!

Stellar place! Has everything you need and more. Plenty of things to do, especially when you take into consideration the entire game room. The downstairs family room has a great sectional that is perfect for a group movie or game. We really liked the Blackstone, as it can be difficult to cook efficiently for a larger group on a normal range. The location is great, and the free kayaks/paddleboat are tons of fun. Very reasonably priced, as well, especially if you are looking during the off-season.

we were in town for a reunion at one of the resorts. this place was perfect. Close by, easy to get to, great access to the beach, very spacious.

Such a cute little space! It had everything we needed while staying. Pam and Rob did a great job of turning an old boathouse into a unique and fun space to stay. We would definitely stay again if we return to the Cross Lake area.

Naomi saved our Mothers Day disaster from another host. Not only was Naomi a superb host, her cabin was simply amazing. A place to relax and be carefree. Kids to run and play with the dogs, with no care in the world. A loft perfect for them to find sleep. A kitchen perfect for endless home cooked meals. This cabin was so perfect to take the kids mom and grandma to disappear from reality and be one with nature, family, and self. With non stop, amazing selection of vinyl records on rotation and though available, a TV and electronics were far from necessary. The peacefulness after the sun set and the calm of the rising sun. Naomi always there when we had a question. The forest park with a beach and fire tower just a few miles away along with town being not too close but not too far. This cabin was what we needed and was our much needed paradise. This will become a new annual spot. Beautiful cabin with a beautiful history.

The cabin was beautiful - it had a lot of outdoor space, and the indoor space was also beautiful with a lot of different areas to hang out. It was fully equipped with everything we needed! We had 20 people and everyone felt comfortable.

Had a great week. Craig and Zach very easy to work with. Peaceful location. Did a lot of fishing. Close to public boat launch. Circle drive very helpful for boat/trailer folks. Plan to go back
