Family-friendly vacation rentals in Frio River

Tim’s place (Rio Bajo) was very delightful! We enjoyed sun bathing by the river, watching Tim’s bird feeder attract many cardinals and all sorts of beautiful birds, hot tub time, star glazing and so much more! Thank you Tim for sharing your beautiful place with us!🙂

The love shack was perfect for a weekend away! We grilled, enjoyed the hot tub, relaxed by the fire ring and on the back porch with gorgeous views. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed, from fire wood for the fire ring to k cups for the coffee pot, and lots of clean towels. We came down for a motorcycle rally, and scenic rides, but this was such a perfect little cabin, that we will absolutely be back. The host was thorough with the instructions, and super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We were secluded but not too far from grocery stores or restaurants, they were just a little drive away. The bed was SO comfortable too, we both slept great! We had a wonderful time here at the love shack, and can’t wait to come back.

This place was amazing, perfect little place for a weekend getaway. Susan was above and beyond with suggestions and the pastries were a great touch. We will definitely be looking to stay there again on our next trip to Fredericksburg.

It started out a bit rough with A/C issues, but they were extremely quick to be helpful and make things right. They continued to communicate next steps. Great location, very clean, enough room and would definitely stay there again. The outside area is perfect for this time of year! Everyone had a great time.

I brought my boyfriend and his parents from out of state to visit Fredericksburg after his graduation this May, this was the perfect house for us! You’re close to live music, shops, and great food and it’s all walkable. The breezeway is so private and was very peaceful in the mornings, we will be visiting again!

The location was exactly as described and conveniently located for our purpose. The condo was very clean and modern. Overall, we were very pleased with the total package.

We booked the Swiftie Hideaway to celebrate my best friend’s 40th birthday, and the house was absolutely perfect! It was clean, adorable, and there were really thoughtful pieces throughout the house (like Taylor Swift Easter Eggs) and the host was very responsive. It was a breeze to check in and check out, and the house is only a few blocks from Main Street so we were able to walk to do some shopping and have dinner. We had such a fantastic, I can’t wait to book again!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The place was clean, beautiful, and exactly as described. The host was excellent as well—very thorough and made everything easy and comfortable. Highly recommend, and we would definitely stay again!

The property was very cute, clean and close to town. I noticed others said the bathroom setup was odd because the sink/vanity is in the bedroom, but I really enjoyed that feature. While my husband was taking a hot shower and steaming up the bathroom, I was cool and dry doing my hair and makeup. The vanity lighting is also great because they have the lights on a dimmer switch, and there’s plenty of natural lighting. The bed and pillows were comfortable which is always a plus. The water is really soft so be prepared to feel like you can’t get the soap and shampoo off. All in all, our stay was great and we would rent the property again.

Timothy’s cottage is as cute as the photos. It has exactly what is needed for a nice weekend at Fredericksburg. Super walkable to all the stores and restaurants in the area. I had the pleasure of meeting his mom before leaving, which made the experience feel even more homey and special. Definetely coming back!

Awesome place for a getaway! Only 10 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg, so it’s far enough to feel like you’re away from town and in your own place, and close enough to be near the excitement when you want it. The house is super cute, well-put together, and the land it’s on is beautiful. All-in-all it’s an amazing place. I’d highly recommend staying here, and the hosts are very friendly!

Great home in a beautiful neighborhood. Easy access to main hwys. Love the area home is in. It is my go to every time I visit San Antonio. Will definitely go back again.

The place was exactly what I hoped it would be, private, quiet and cozy enough for me and 4 other people. The cupcakes when we arrived was so sweet and the breakfast tacos hit the spot! Would definitely return again

This was the most beautiful, spacious, accommodating, fully loaded, great smelling Airbnb that I have ever seen. My phone was waterlogged at SeaWorld and I was unable to get into it. For one moment I got in, long enough to get Vanessa‘s contact number so that we may have access to the property, and she picked up the phone immediately. Showed empathy and gave me the code to get into the property with no problems. My family loved living in Vanessa‘s Airbnb. Get this one guys, you will not be disappointed!

We had an amazing stay. Very nice and peaceful location. Easy to get around from. Perfect little piece of heaven. Definitely a place I would recommend and stay at again. Hosts were amazing at check in and were helpful with recommendations.

We stayed here for our son’s BMT graduation. They have everything you could need. It was very comfortable, our son wanted to relax so we stayed at the house the entire time. Michelle and Theodore are amazing and responsive and so very kind and accommodating. They literally have everything you could need. My other kids enjoyed the close pool and the Walmart is literally minutes away. You will not be disappointed staying here!

This is a lovely home with many amenities and great space! The home is located at the end of a very quiet, small road, and is just a few blocks away from main roads. Kristin was friendly and helpful, start to finish, and we had a great stay!
