Vacation rentals with lake access in Franklin County

Renee is an amazing host and so sweet and responsive! The house was great and neighbors were very nice. My dog loved playing in the fenced in yard and sitting on the porch. Thank you, Renee!

Emil was very helpful as we left our home in Tampa and were looking for a place to take cover during hurricane Milton.

I was worried of booking this location as it had no reviews, however this is an incredibly beautiful Airbnb and I recommend! It is perfectly designed for larger groups and does have enough towels, pillows, silverware, kitchen gear to house its capacity. It also is larger than the photos feel and they honestly don’t do it justice. It rained the first 2 days we were there and it was still so beautiful. The last day was sunny and hot and we loved being able to walk to the beach on our own entrance. It is very peaceful and a very quiet town. If you are looking to disconnect from the world and connect with nature/family/friendship this is definitely the place to go. The beach lends itself more for fishing than swimming. We did see dolphins multiple times and the house is about 2 houses down from the boat ramp which is convenient! host are quick in communication and although I had a few issues with initial booking and once during my stay Jessie was helpful in resolving promptly.

Such a wonderful stay!!! The house and its amenities were perfect. The information notebook as soon as you check in is SO well thought out! Honestly, any question you could ask in answered there. Take advantage of the plethora of board games, books and cozy up on the couch while enjoying the crackling of the indoor wood burning fire. We enjoyed the easy access to the bayou on the beautiful dock and kayaked to the point of the beach just around the corner! We caught crabs and redfish off the dock. When the kids needed a change of pace, we went down the road to Apalachicola and enjoyed the shopping while the guys enjoyed the local brewery. The hosts are wonderful! They really thought of everything to make this house turn-key to a wonderful, wholesome family good time! The kids and adults alike can’t wait to go back! 5/5 stars! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

We had a wonderful stay at this rental! The beach view was absolutely stunning, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Communication with the host was seamless, the beds were comfy and the house was fully equipped with everything we needed. We’re already looking forward to coming back! Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here! Just step outside for access to the river, fishing and enjoying the beautiful, peaceful scenery. A very private setting and nice home. There is some road noise. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and responsive to any questions. A very special place! Thanks, Ben!
