Apartment vacation rentals in Cumberland County

My husband and I decided to go up to Portland for a long weekend and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay right in downtown! Shea’s place is close to all of the restaurants, shops, and other sites to see in downtown Portland - no more than a 5-10 minute walk. It was great to be able to walk right out the door to all of these amenities! The place was the perfect size for the two of us, was very clean, and we felt right at home for our trip. We will definitely keep this place in mind the next time we are in Portland!

We had a wonderful stay here - perfect for two couples / a group of four, with lots of space, and comfortable common areas. We wish we had stayed longer!

Great place to stay in Portland! Nice neighborhood, walkable to the Old Port. The space is very nice. I definitely recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay here. It looked just like the photos - clean and orderly - and the bed was comfortable. It's modern and uncluttered, and the kitchen counter is a great spot to set up your laptop and maybe have a beverage - good light in there. Communication was excellent, too. Luke provided us with a link to a feature on must-try restaurants in the area, and he gave us some helpful general tips for Portland. Folding baggage racks and closet space with hangers were provided, and there is a lovely outdoor space with a table and chairs; plus a shed should you want to store your bike or anything else. I would say for a single guest or maybe a couple looking for a simple, uncluttered place to stay while visiting, you don't need much more. Highly recommended - wouldn't hesitate to book this again in the future.

Great apartment in a very walkable part of Portland, a perfect location for exploring the city. It was clean & spacious with a very comfortable bed and we appreciated the off-street parking. The owner Jeff and his wife are very friendly and served us a fantastic meal at their small brewpub downstairs. I normally wouldn’t choose a rental above a pub, but theirs closes at 9pm every night, so noise wasn’t an issue at all. Would highly recommended this unit for a stay in Portland.

For anyone looking for a weekend getaway and isn’t looking to go the traditional hotel route, I’d highly recommend Monica’s AirBNB. From communication, to check in, to location, to cleanliness, this place is an excellent choice. Located within a 10 minute walk, we found it easily accessible and in a great location. Monica was always very responsive and it was exactly as described in the listing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Normand and his wife were simply amazing. From the eggs and snacks that were waiting for us when we arrived to the homemade cookies on our check out. The place was very cozy and comfortable with tons of toys and games for kids and adults. Normand was very accommodating to any request and even helped me chase the puppies when they accidently got out. I would highly recommend this!

This Airbnb was amazing! It was extremely clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Haley and Diane were wonderful hosts and made sure we had a smooth check-in. The location is perfect because it is so close to downtown Portland and there are so many restaurants and activities to choose from. Furthermore, we had a group of 7 on our trip and we had plenty of space in this airbnb. 5/5 stars. I highly recommend this location!!

The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. It was quiet and comfortable. We would definitely go there again if we return to Portland.

The location was walkable to ocean, restaurants, and sightseeing. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The apartment does have stairs, so if you have a mobility problem his place would not be a good choice.

Delightful place to stay in Portlands West end. It is easy walking distance to everywhere…. downtown and even the East side. Great restaurants in the neighborhood from breakfast to dinner. The apartment was immaculate and was stocked with just about everything you’d need. The shared yard was charming and felt very private. We have family in the area and I hope we can stay there again and again. It was much more comfortable than a B & B. Lorie was very responsive to anything you might need.

We had a great stay at James’s place! The apartment was central to everything- we had no problem walking around and exploring. James was very friendly and responsive and gave us some helpful restaurant recommendations nearby. Definitely recommend!

Lovely place for family and friends. I was there for my medical school graduation and Matt was very accommodating with our early check-in request. A few things were broken (shades and a towel rack) and there were minor stains on the couch, but we reported them and they immediately got back to us. Sauna and hot tub both worked great. The place fit us well and all the beds were very comfortable! Thank you for having us

Susan’s place was the perfect spot for our getaway trip! The location and views were amazing and only a short trip to Portland. The space was spacious and exactly as pictured. We would stay here again.

Great place. The bed was really comfortable. Hot tub was nice and private and relaxing.

James was very responsive and our stay was exactly what we thought we were getting. It had everything we needed, and all the comforts of home.

We booked this place for my husband’s birthday and our family had a wonderful time during our stay! Is it well-suited for a relaxing getaway. ((coming from someone who lives in the city) There were minor hiccups, but Cody was very responsive and addressed them quickly, which we really appreciated. Overall, the communication was great, and the experience turned out to be smooth and enjoyable. Would recommend!

Fantastic spot in a good location in Portland. The studio is beautiful and spacious. Dan was great. Just be aware that parking is a little tight. Wasn't an issue for us since we had a sedan, but a larger SUV will be tight. But overall, would absolutely recommend for a couple looking for a place in central Portland.

Melissa’s unit is clean, nicely laid out, and close to many restaurants and activities. She has two beautiful cats, and they’re allowed in the room. So if you’re sensitive to cat hair be aware. Melissa was friendly and helpful.

Great Airbnb! Clean, spacious, and comfortable. Excellent kitchen with every amenity you could want. Nicely decorated. Nice residential neighborhood. We were able to walk to a few restaurants and were close to the beautiful Back Cove trail.
