Rusty Nail Cottage located on quiet road. View of mountain side opposite with cows at pasture. Autumn - leaves changing colour provided stunning views. Cottage is cottage rustic. Enjoyed the unique display and construction! Learned from them that the wooden planking came from trees on the property. Enjoyed an evening by the fire pit next to the cottage. Saw many birds, rabbit, squirrels, deer, cows, chipmunk. Heard the coyotes a few times. Location is very good - close to Franklin, antique Malls (Whistle Stop -- one of the biggest Antique malls I have been to) and waterfalls. Mountain roads were twisty and narrow in some areas. Very much enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this unique and wonderful place to stay!! Host responded quickly-kind and helpful.

The most beautiful and peaceful cabin!! What an amazing getaway - we felt so refreshed. All the windows are the best part - it feels like you’re outside, yet you have all of coziness of a warm cabin!

Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. We came here for our 2 year wedding anniversary, and we’re not disappointed. The house, the hot tub, the sweet town of Clayton, we could go on and on. We particularly enjoyed how close it was to town, while also being secluded in its own little spot on the dead end road. Heather added cute touches like a thank you note with cookies, and a little basket with snacks. We were just 40 minutes from Helen, where we spent a day. Then we rode horses at the Dillard stables. Highly recommend! Our favorite restaurant was the Rabun Social. Delicious! Be sure to go see the Minnehaha Falls for breathtaking views. We will be back with our kids when it warms up, to play in the creek!! ☺️

This is the place!!! The home is fully furnished. Stayed here for 2 weeks and will be looking to stay again next time we are in the area. The house is very nice. Plenty of seating in the living room for relaxing and chatting, nice big dining room table for eating. The bedrooms were great, master bedroom is huge with a bathroom/shower in it. The other upstairs room is connected to a bathroom that can be accessed by the rest of the house. Plenty of utensils and appliances for everything you need in the kitchen or out on the grill! The basement has a nice smaller, but not to small of a bedroom, and another living room/ lounging room with big glass doors to enjoy the view outside. The front porch is awesome sitting place for coffee or a night cap looking out at the lake and relaxing. There is a dock and a private beach with sand that is an absolute awesome additive. Enjoy a nice fire by the water. Jordan was an awesome host that is very responsive and very accommodating. THANK YOU!

The home was beautiful, and beautifully maintained. The location was perfect for all of the wedding events we went to. We would definitely recommend this property.

This is the 3rd time we've stayed at Sunshine Cottage. The attention to detail is incredible and ohhhh so clean! Well stock Kitchen, even has some condiments in the Fridge and staple spices. It's 1/2 a mile from downtown Clayton which has great shopping and eatery's. Terry suggested 2 new restaurants, Stekoa Creek and Vandivers....both were yummy! Even the shower has high end shampoo/conditioner/body wash! We've stay in many vacation rentals over the years and Sunshine Cottage tops them all.

We really enjoyed our stay at Marsha's beautiful home. It was very cozy and close to town. She was most helpful in meeting our needs. We will stay with her again.

Great place to stay! Spent a weekend enjoying the Fall colors and waterfalls! Location was great for this charming and fun walking town!

This is an absolutely amazing place with the friendliest hosts!! The location is great - very close to WCU and lots of great restaurants. The view is SPECTACULAR! The beds are very comfortable. We appreciated the snacks and coffee bar. Don and Renie are wondeful communicators and their attention to detail makes this a very special place. They are first class hosts! I definitely will look to book this property again.

Our stay was very pleasant. I found the hosts to be very proactive at responding. This Airbnb is a bit away from city at a peaceful place.

My husband came into town for work. Lori and William had a perfect spot for him. It was clean and well equipped. I can't remember if a washer and dryer was mentioned in the listing, my husband didn't see on but there was a set available to use which was so nice. The hosts were great on communication and very helpful when my husband left his phone at a gas station on his way into town and we were worried he wasn't going to be able to check in, we messaged the hosts and they were truly so amazing and happy to help if needed. The space itself was clean, felt like home, and was a great place for him to stay. Would highly recommend if you are staying in the area.

This AirBnb is truly one a kind. The small attention to detail that Pam and Frank have for this space is truly remarkable. When first entering the space, you are blown away how clean, well decorated, and organized everything is. After that, you begin to pick up on all the small things. The chocolate on the pillows, the home baked goods left for you, and the well stocked kitchen available for you to use. Pam always made sure we were comfortable and even offered us a late checkout unprompted. We will most certainly be back. Thank you Pam and Frank for opening up your home!

The home was nice, no complaints, would stay again. But the stars here are the hosts. I was here for Hurricane Helene. The storm damage was honestly minimal compared to what I would later see in some of the harder hit areas, but I was blocked in by a small mudslide for just a day or so. The hosts happened to be out on vacation, but even through the cellular disruptions, they managed to maintain constant contact and coordinated assistance from neighbors. They took care of me like family.

Our stay is just what we needed for our small anniversary weekend getaway. The views were breathtaking. Super quiet and private being on the mountain. We explored the trails around the home on our first day and ventured out on other days. It was a bit hard showering since it’s small but the bright side is the water stayed hot. Would recommend !

What a wonderful way to spend a weekend! We enjoyed this Airbnb (it was our first) and would stay there again anytime. Elizabeth is a gracious host and we had everything we needed; she even made great dining suggestions. The hot tub was the icing on the cake and we finally came home feeling rested from a weekend getaway. Our plans were last-minute and we are thrilled for finding this gem close to everything!

Another great stay at The Hideaway for me and the dogs. Found a shortcut to walk to the Alpine Village to see the holiday light display. I have always felt safe and comfortable in Helen.

We absolutely loved our stay ! The location was perfect , within walking distance to a majority of the activities we had planned ! Cannot wait to come again in warmer weather and explore again the view off the patio was fantastic!!

Jenny & Ania were amazing hosts! Their place is perfectly located and allows access to a great community center and amenities. We stayed here for the 4th of July and had a wonderful time. HUGE plus that our dog was allowed as well :) Will definitely stay here again!

If you have never stayed at the bluebird, you are missing out! Spotless, beautiful, comfortable, everything you could need in the kitchen set in the middle of a golf course community and a beautiful downtown with plenty to do! And..... Matt is the BEST to work with!!

This was an amazing Airbnb could not recommend it more. The pictures represented the condo to a tee. Beautiful view from the balcony and windows of the Smokey Mountains. Location was amazing to get that true mountain experience along with being a short drive to Downtown Gatlinburg and other surrounding sites such as national park trails. Truly enjoyed this location and stay at the Lofty Loft Airbnb.

We absolutely love this place and cannot say enough good things about it. Carol’s place is beautiful, serene, immaculate, and comfortable. Besides the breathtaking Mountain view, we loved waking up to the rooster crowing in the distance and the cows mooing. The beds are super comfy! We enjoyed the vintage record player which brought back wonderful memories. Carol is a perfect host- kind, thoughtful, and very responsive. Wish we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back. This is now our East TN go-to place!

Lisa's place was cozy and comfortable and decorated for Christmas. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that you would need to include coffee and spices. Lisa had the electric fireplace on when we got there and there was a written guide book also. Lake Junaluska was a short 5 minute walk and had swans and geese on it. It was cold when we were there so we didn't get to take in all the recreational activities in the lakeside community, a summer visit would be even better! We look forward to a return trip.
