Amazing cabin in a peaceful surrounding. My family and I enjoyed our week at the cabin. It was far enough away from the hustle and bustle and close enough to all the surrounding sites for day trips. We loved coming home every night to this beautiful cabin full of all the amenities one could need. We felt right at home. The attention to detail was wonderful and the cabin was spotless. Beautiful property- loved listening to the sound of the river. Guys enjoyed fishing - relaxing and nice ambiance - screen porch was nice and peaceful place to relax. We went into Highlands to shop and eat dinner. We spent another afternoon hiking in The Gorges and enjoying leaf season. Can’t wait to return!

My husband and I were looking to get away from busy Florida as find peace and quiet. We found that here. The views were beautiful, the cabin was cozy , the hot tub was a bonus. Looking up at the stars at night was amazing. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

Wonderful place for a weekend away to do the polar express! We and our friends had a great time with our kiddos here. Debi was an excellent host, couldn’t have asked for a better experience from her. NOW some commentary for other parents that might be considering this cabin for small children / babies, this does not affect my rating more so just FYI’s... - The floors / walls are not very sound proof at all making it more difficult if you have children that don’t sleep well for anyone to get much sleep or move around in the mornings. Bring several sound machines. - A wide baby gate is needed to block off the stairs, the one we brought was too narrow. - There is not a safe area for kids to run around outside except for the porch, we used the table to block off one side, the hillside and driveway are just too steep. - The master bedroom and bathroom are both plenty big to house a pack n play, the downstairs bedroom is a tad cozier.

Beautiful views with spacious hot tube. Slightly difficult to drive up driveway but worth it. Recommend a car with all wheel drive. Came with everything we could need, except no microwave. Overall wonderful stay!

My family and I had an absolute wonderful time here. The views are breathtaking, pics do not do it no justice at all! We will absolutely be back here in the future. Incredible all the way around!

Where to start… I’ve lost track of how many times our family has come to the cabin. We basically consider it our fall family tradition but I couldn’t remember when our first stay was and while weeding through the reviews, I noticed multiple people saying it was their fourth and fifth times at the cabin so if that doesn’t tell you something, I don’t know what will. Wayne’s cabin is always pristine and we can easily make ourselves at home. My family has grown up with this cabin and I look forward to many more trips.

The cabin and river were both beautiful! Peaceful and relaxing stay most definitely will rebook in the future.The ease of check in and accommodations were perfect for our getaway. Wanda is a very friendly host, and very kind. 5 stars hands down!!

This is the perfect cabin for our family of 4. Plenty of space for us and our newborn in the main bedroom and our four year old felt like a big girl with her own bed on the pull out couch. She also loved the jacuzzi tub :) The location was the best part for us. if you are planning a trip to Dollywood, this cabin location is PERFECT. You miss all of the traffic coming in and out of the park! We can't wait to rent the cabin again.

We had a great stay, the house was very cozy and beautifully decorated. We especially enjoyed the coffee bar and Tiffany was a great host. We found the location to be very convenient to the areas we visited as well as downtown Franklin. We plan to stay again next trip up.

The home is perfect for a family getaway. There is a pond to fish in and horse shoes to keep the kids entertained. We drove to several hikes nearby and enjoyed the Great Smoky Mountains. Absolutely worth the trip and wonderful hosts!

We are a family of 4, plus our weimaraner. We spent 7 nights at the cabin on Thanksgiving week, we cook and bake and we couldn't believe how well equipped the kitchen was. The cabin is lovely, to say the least, dog toys, food and water bowls plus a big dog bed. Brevard town had great restaurants, cafés and places to visit. The area is known for waterfalls and trails, and we enjoyed most of them. Asheville is about half an hour or a bit more, from the cabin, great cinemas and antique stores. We really has an awesome time. Thanks Melissa for your wonderful nest.

Wonderful home! Super clean.

We had a wonderful family reunion Thanksgiving at Alan’s. The house exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean and comfortable, we had plenty of space and the kitchen was extremely well stocked! Many people in our party commented that the pictures did not do the property justice. We were a multigenerational family, and everyone found something to do whether it was watching football from the cozy basement or going on the lake in the paddleboard or hanging out in the hot tub!It was the perfect way to spend our holiday with our senior Tigers!

The villa has an absolutely beautiful view of Lake Hartwell and the location is very peaceful. Gorgeous view from living room and screened in back porch! We love that Sadler's Creek State Park is walking distance right next door with walking trails to enjoy nature :)

The view is beyond what was described, completely breathtaking! I would recommend if you haven’t frequented the mountains that you take the Gatlinburg bypass route and not the Ski Mountain route. Ski Mountain route has a number of sharp turns and steep inclines. The Gatlinburg bypass/Wiley Oakley route is much more manageable. The place matches the description and was very clean and well maintained.

Repeat guests. We look forward to visiting Bob & Ruth's farm every year, to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Our pups enjoy it here, too! Another great stay on the farm was had this visit, and we look forward to traveling this way again in the Spring. Ruth & Bob are hands down the best hosts! Wonderful stay!!

The house was as described, in great shape and included everything I needed. I really appreciated Lisa's flexibility due to me arriving a few hours earlier than originally expected.

We loved staying here, it was close enough to town that you didn’t have to go far but still had the feeling of being far out in a cabin. Very clean and loved everything the cabin had to offer. We will definitely love to stay here again!

I have been staying here for years, and it never disappoints. I would recommend this spot to anyone, and plan to make it back in the next few months.
