Great location - we’ve stayed here multiple times.. excellent place for a family reunion.

Great place. It was the perfect backdrop for a restful getaway. Landon’s team was very communicative and my trip was everything I hoped it’d be and more. I’d definitely stay here again.

this cabin was a beautiful retreat for our family over Thanksgiving. It was peaceful, quiet, and clean. We loved using the hot tub, taking a walk on the private road, and hanging out inside watching TV. Andrey was very accommodating, responsive, and had very clear check in and check out instructions. We loved our stay and highly recommend!

Such a great experience! Loved seeing the neighbors cows walk by and woke up to a flock of geese on the water. This place is so charming, cozy and welcoming. Attention to detail in decor and cleanliness is evident. We DoorDashed for dinner and it was easy for us and our DoorDasher to find. Courtney was so kind and quick to respond to messages. What a gem! We were absolutely blown away. Will def be back and booking a longer stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Jill's home. She was great at providing information prior to check-in. Once we were there, everything was totally clear, and we didn't have ask for assistance. The home was just as described and even more lovely than the pictures, with so many unique decorative elements. It was so cozy, comfortable, and functional. We liked the open living area and the privacy of the bedrooms. Very nice and relaxing outside in the evening and on the crisp fall mornings. It was great being there for the end of daylight savings time, so we had an extra hour to our stay. We were in the area for the Penn State vs. Ohio State game and to visit our son who is a student. So, we didn't spend a lot of time in the immediate area but would love to come back. P.S. I am very sorry that I forgot to sign the guest book - all good things to say!

We stayed here for a Penn State football game. This cabin was perfect for what we needed. Everything we could have asked for was on site. Satellite TV, board games, a poker set were all available to pass the time as well as binoculars to check out the deer that came around in the morning. The host was quick to answer any questions I had and he had everything ready before we even left home. Cleaning requirements were minimal and reasonable.

Paul’s place was just what we needed for our weekend stay for the Penn State/OSU game. The area is beautiful. We went for a nice hike and enjoyed the beautiful views. Paul was very helpful and responsive to any questions I had.

Great cozy cabin for a getaway. Easy to book, private, and lovely deck. Would stay again.

This is our second stay at the cabin and it was great. We come to the area to visit family and this is the perfect place to stay with our dogs and kids. The dogs love the adjacent field and the kids love all the games and movies. I love that my dogs, kids and husband are happy and I can relax!

We enjoyed our stay here, even though we didn't spend as much time at the house as we would have liked to, we had everything we needed and would definitely stay again.

The cottage is beautiful, just as described and located in a quiet area. It’s nestled alongside the river with a lovely view. My dog and I greatly enjoyed our stay. We woke up one morning to the fog rolling over the river and it was absolutely beautiful to sit on the porch with coffee and take in the view.

My three sons and some friends stayed at John’s place for a weekend at Camp Woodward. John’s place was perfect! They had plenty of room to spread out and enjoyed grilling on the deck and hanging around the fire pit in the evenings. John and Cody were awesome hosts. We will definitely book again!

What an outstanding host. Mark and Dean were fantastic. They went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. mark greeted at the place despite the fact that we arrived kind of late. They checked in multiple during our long-weekend stay. And when I needed a iron for fancy dinner night, Mark brought one to use immediately. aAlthough I w as a little bummed he didn't offer to iron it for me. haha. Great hosts

Having stayed in many vacation rentals for over 30 years, I have to say Sandstone Sanctuary is one of my favorites. Loved the peace, quiet, and privacy of the natural setting. The cabin is clean, bright, comfortable, and custom designed with a simple elegance- everything you need, and nothing more. I loved viewing the beauty of the property through all the large windows, and hope to return in warmer weather to relax in the outdoor spaces.

The place was beautiful and peaceful. My daughters and I had a great time playing with the cats outside, seeing the goats, and the horse.

We were able to spend a relaxed, peaceful weekend visiting our son at Penn State. Melissa’s house was sparkling clean, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. Everything was perfect - comfortable beds, quality towels and linen, shampoos & soaps - with a fully stocked and well-equipped kitchen. We immediately felt at home and appreciated the touches of attention from Melissa (croissants, Keurig pods…). The outdoor space was amazing, and we spent quality time by the fire pit and grilling. Melissa went out of her way to change the empty tank gas for the barbecue and we really appreciated it! Overall a great house to disconnect and recharge and we are very grateful to Melissa for this relaxing weekend. Would definitely recommend it and hope to be back soon!

Awesome Cabin with beautiful surroundings. Barb was a “hands off” host that responded quickly when we needed something…and that was only one time. Beds were comfortable, Bathrooms clean & well stocked. kitchen was serviceable with a counter and table to eat at. The porch and yard are the stars of this cabin if you enjoy sitting around and talking before and/or after a meal. Thank you Barb for an enjoyable weekend.

Returning renters and the cabin didn’t disappoint. The linens are wonderful and Nicole has really thought of everything. We wanted to watch a dvd (which there are plenty there!) and Nicole made sure there was a working dvd player for us. We forgot our coffee and there were plenty of k-cups and creamer. The drive is beautiful to Benezette and the hiking in the Quehanna Wild Area is just the best. Highly reccomend this cabin and location.
