Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Centre County

We stayed with family for a Big 10 football weekend. It was close enough to State College to be convenient, big enough to accommodate my family, and felt very cozy and home-like. We did have a couple questions and Jennifer responded almost immediately each time.

Matthew and Carolyn were such incredible hosts and replied so quickly to all of the questions we had! We absolutely loved the place - it had everything we needed and more, and was beautifully decorated. We also loved the goodies that they left for us, and the meet and greet with all of the lovely animals! :) We had no issues with cellular service at the place, and the Wifi was perfect for our needs. The area was close enough to stores, restaurants, and activities, and was incredibly peaceful. We would 100% stay here again if we’re ever in the area!

We loved this Airbnb! Conveniently located, clean, and beautifully decorated. It was a great place for our family of 4 to stay while visiting extended family in State College. I especially liked the nook with a writing desk and a winter view of the mountains. The Christmas tree on the back deck was a lovely touch.

We loved the decor, very relaxing. Sarah had little signs up to help find things, instructions for coffee maker, etc. We had a little problem with a clog in the downstairs shower but we called the management number given and a plumber was out within an hour and took care of it! We loved it and will be back!!!

Big, country farmhouse. Three large bedrooms. Spacious first floor. Big kitchen - seats six easily. Very much a country setting. Surrounded by farms. Parking under cover for two cars. Very pleasant, quiet place to stay.

Kathy and Phil were dream hosts!!! We checked in on Thanksgiving which was a bit unusual. Knowing our travel plans they were so thoughtful to leave us snacks in the event we couldn't find a place to eat. We couldn't and so these were so helpful. They left goodies for us to use to celebrate our kids birthdays and in general just took good care of us. Felt like we were incredibly welcomed beyond being paying guests of their cottage. We would certainly stay here again!!!!!

Erik and the other hosts were great to stay with. They provided clear instructions and offered a remarkably clean and spacious home. There are plenty of local places to grab a bite and it’s just a short uber ride to downtown. Highly recommend this place for a game weekend or for any event.

The coffee table that turned into a work desk was great. Bed and bedding super comfy.

Beautiful surroundings with tastefully decorated interior. Extremely comfy bed and many thoughtful details..Quiet area, extremely peaceful. Close to many restaurants and venues. great weekend!!

Very cozy and clean place- great size place for two people as well! We went to a PSU game and didn’t mind staying outside of State College. Brenda was very responsive as well. Great stay! Would recommend!

Beautiful mountaintop location and a very nicely appointed space. Everything that you need for a peaceful getaway.

Arrival instructions were easy to follow, Leslie made sure to greet us and make sure we found everything okay. The property was clean and free of any odors. All appliances worked perfectly. We got a chance to meet the farm cat named Muffin who was so friendly and sweet. Our stay was relaxing and comfortable. Leslie was very accommodating during the checkout process as well. I would gladly rent one of Leslie’s properties again. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

Everything matched description and local attractions were in walking distance. Uber is also an option and is very reasonable.

Rukmalie’s listing was cozy without feeling cramped! We had plenty of space for us and our pup, Laszlo. It was set in a quiet location not a far drive from State College and local parks. The amenities available were as listed, and the extra blankets and towels were very much appreciated! Laszlo loved his treat from the Welcome Basket :) Thank you for sharing your space!

We stayed at Bernard’s on a football weekend. Location is great and the place worked great for our family of 4. Will definetly recommend staying there for future visit’s.

We were visiting our daughter for family weekend at Penn State. Bill's place offered us a nice place to relax and unwind after a long day walking on campus. It's close to campus, easy to find and very comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen. It had everything our family needed for a nice family weekend getaway. The house was clean, and everything was just as described, and Bill was very responsive and quick to reply with any questions or concerns. We will definitely be back.

This was my second stay here. Irina is always responsive, and the place was renovated. Plenty of parking and outdoor space. The stream and wildlife was beautiful. Her son Dan is incredibly helpful and kind. We had a nice stay.

We have enjoyed being with Irna place, it was matching our need, the host was super friendly, the area is safe and quiet I will be coming again

We loved our stay at Irina’s place in Port Matilda! Had everything we needed and included nice touches we weren’t expecting. Beautiful creek front place and really convenient to Penn State campus. Would recommend and stay here again!

Lovely cute property. Well equipped with a few things in the refrigerator as well as a snack basket. Enjoyed the fireplace and comfortable bed.

We had a great stay and would def stay here again. Townhouse is in close proximity to PSU, which was why we were in town. Complex was quiet. Townhome was clean and comfortable. Emily was a great host and was extremely responsive.

Nice place. Layout is a bit weird, but there's a full apartment there, with a full kitchenette. I could live there, if it wasn't in the middle of nowhere. 20-25 minutes to ANYWHERE.
