Wonderful place to stay with lots of outdoor activities nearby. The back porch was perfect to watch the sunrises and the yard was great for our dog to enjoy.

Stayed here with our extended family. Everyone loved it! Even the kids 5 and 9 were entertained!

Absolutely perfect stay at Amy's beautiful home nestled in the mountains of Virginia. If you're looking for a place that is peaceful, serene, and CLEAN then this is the place for you. HUGE thank you to Amy, what an amazing host. Your attention to detail, clean linens, comfortable beds, and overall effort put into this property did not go unnoticed. And one more thanks for accommodating our late check out as well, we made memories here that will last a lifetime and we will certainly be back again! I would give it 10 stars if I could!!

What a great place with plenty of space for my group. We saw amazing wildlife from the living room sofa! Hawks, Blue Herons, even an otter swimming in the lake!! All in all, don’t hesitate to chose this beautiful, secluded place to spend a few days.

My family and I absolutely loved Rachel’s place! It was so beautifully decorated and so cozy and comfortable. The beds were super comfortable and the linens were so fresh and soft! Every detail was so well thought out. She was also great at communicating and super flexible with check in and check out times! If we come back to that area we will absolutely look into staying at Rachel’s place again! Highly recommend!

When visiting the Hillsville area, Mark of Design is one of our top go-to’s. Very convenient location for those wanting to be in Hillsville, yet also close to Galax and the Blue Ridge Parkway area. We love watching the beautiful horses on the farm, and also the abundant wildlife, to include deer, rabbits & wild turkeys!

Had a great time at the house. The only thing is that the air system in the house is a little bit loud so it might get in the way of is a light sleeper like me. One of the rooms is quieter than the other so after switching rooms I was able to sleep, beside that had a good time relaxing in the house.

The host was very responsive and helpful. The place was as described. It was very peaceful. The views were amazing! I am an advid photographer and I loved all the birds and wildlife. I was right at home with my camera on the balcony. My family and our dogs enjoyed our time there. I cooked our Christmas meal there. The kitchen was well stocked and I had everything I needed to prepare a big meal. I was going to extend our stay by a few days but the place was unavailable. We didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back.

A great place for a stop on our drive home, and super close to 77! It looked exactly like the pictures, and everything was extremely clean. The king-size bed was very comfortable, and the Nespresso machine was a nice plus for the morning. Everything was very quiet for stay, and our newly walking one-year old had lots of room to get energy out after our drive. We will definitely see if either of the apartments are available when passing through the area again!

Our stay at the Roost was very pleasant. We especially enjoyed the river access and hung out down there a couple of times. One of our favorite things was the lack of a TV. It added to the unplugged rustic experience we enjoy. Thank you Michael for sharing your space with us.

Cynthia’s ABB was probably the cleanest, most comfortable, most enjoyable ABB experience we have had. She is a great communicator and she and her family are right downstairs in her Home Decorating shop. We stayed in the back unit which was very quiet. This place was nice and had everything we needed. It was VERY spacious. If you’re in area i recommend you make this your place to a stay!

My stay at Rebecca's apartment was nothing short of perfect. Everything about the apartment was exactly as described, if not better. The location was ideal, with easy access to everywhere in town because of its proximity to all of the local attractions. From the moment I arrived, Rebecca was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The amenities included a fully loaded kitchen (appliance wise) made me feel right at home as a person who loves to cook. The entire space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I could need. Overall, I had an amazing experience and would highly recommend Rebecca's apartment to anyone visiting the area. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip to Galax!

I enjoyed my stay at this very nice unit. The living room and kitchen are very spacious and designed to be thoughtfully accommodating. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms have useful up-to-date features. My stay was very relaxing and the interior had a loft-like feeling which I love.

A beautiful location matched with a stunning condo. The back deck that has a gate so the dogs can hang out and explore, walkable and quiet. Not a lot close by so bring some food along. Great ambience with the fireplace and kitchen. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place with amazing views of the 18th green and mountains. Sunrise and sunsets were awesome! Condo was stocked with necessities and also a great welcome package with wine and treats. We'll be back soon!

We would definitely stay here again. Bathrooms and kitchen were spotless. On a clear day we had a beautiful view of the mountains and the valley below. Quaint shopping in Fancy Gap. Check out the wings and a beverage at Creek Bottom Brewing in Galax. Short trip to Mt Airy NC. We left feeling refreshed.

There were a few small spiders/little bugs here and there, but that’s kind of difficult to avoid with an older house like this. It was small, but in a cozy way, and it had more than enough room for us! We had two guests but we could have easily fit four.
