Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Carmel Valley

Sean's cottage is an absolute delight, we moved in as though it was our own home. Worth reading previous reviews mentioning building works next door. As we were prepared for this (they started 8am promptly Mon-Fri), also ants (which didn't show up) and the racoon in the bins (which did show up) none of this was an issue, and was reflected in the reduced rental. Sean was an excellent host, replied speedily to any queries, including calling a plumber for a minor problem. The cottage is the most homely of places, there's everything you could need, the kitchen is generously equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The pretty patio is full of flowers and birds. Since it was April, we were not outside in the evenings, but it seems noise is an issue with neighbours. There are polite but firm notices requesting no outside noise after 9pm which could be difficult on hot summer evenings. This was one of our favourite Airbnbs, the location is fabulous, so much to do, we were busy all the time

We had such a cozy and relaxing stay! The location is absolutely perfect—just steps from the beach and central to everything we wanted to do. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed, and our 2-year-old daughter had a great time exploring and playing. The patio was truly magical—a peaceful spot to unwind after busy days. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, which made everything even smoother. We’d absolutely stay here again!

This home was the perfect home away from home for our family vacation. It’s set back just enough to feel private, safe, and quiet. The open layout was ideal for keeping us connected as a family, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic, easy to get to everything, which is especially important when there’s so much to explore. There are also great casual dining options close by, which made mealtime simple and stress-free. We had such a special stay here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing, and convenient home base for their trip.

Perfect location for us while visiting family in the area and attending my Grandma’s 95th birthday celebration all while still feeling like we were on a remote vacation for my own little family. We definitely plan to return!! Thank you Carli and Team!!

Great place to stay - nice walks along the coast and just a few miles from Cannery Row. The place was very clean and has you feeling just like home. Would love to stay again in the future.

The house was easy to find and check in went exactly as explained. She allowed us to drop off luggage early which was very helpful. House is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast recommendation was amazing!! Only wish is that I could try their lunch too. Checking out was quick and easy. I recommend this property and hope I get a chance to revisit it.

We had such a lovely stay here! The home is beautiful, and our kiddos (2 yo and 4 yo) just love it here as well. We had so much fun eating family dinners on the patio outside, and we also loved watching the sunsets (and the fog roll in) on the front deck. We try to come out to Carmel once a year and this is our second time staying at Holly’s home. We look forward to staying here again for our next trip!

House was large enough for our party who was celebrating the lives of our deceased parents. Appreciated the cleanliness. Fire pit was nice, we used it each night. The beds were very comfy, I wanna know what they were so I can get my own! Centrally located to the Monterey area, as well as necessities nearby (e.g., grocery stores, pharmacy, coffee shops, etc). We had a great time. Would def stay here again:) thanks victor!

Spacious unit right on the beach. Great view from dining area while enjoying morning coffee. Direct access to beach or boardwalk for walks with the dog. Easy access to all activities in Monterey county. This could become an annual retreat goal.

This place was great. The owners pay attention to the details and offered many amenities that we don’t see at other Airbnb’s. I highly recommend this place.

The perfect cabin getaway! The cabin was clean, quiet and comfortable. The host was very responsive via text. We enjoyed the onsite activities: pickle ball, archery and walking trails. We are planning to visit again soon!

This was amazing they were the best very clean well put together home with hot tub in the back lots of acres we got to walk around and see it all the host was nice and made us feel at home right away thank you I can’t wait to go back to camel by the sea thanks to them what a experience!!!!

My family and I were looking for a quiet weekend getaway and this house was the best. It has everything you need to relax, from a good bed to a pool. If you're thinking about it, stop thinking and book now!

Glamping cabin was cool to experience. We came for new years and the cabin was very close to the beach and downtown Carmel with all the shops and restaurants. The A/C and heater worked great during the night to keep the cabin nice and warm. Check in was smooth and check out was smooth as well. Bed was comfy and space was very clean.

Cute house. Would advise driving during daylight tho, the roads are extremely windy and challenging at night. We had a tough time driving up in the dark. The amenities like hot tub were great. House was as described! Easy to use amenities. Would advise bringing a jacket on April.

The place was so relaxing and luxuriating. I appreciated the heated towels the ample room in the shower. The bed was super comfortable. And the snacks and the coffee station was fantastic.

The house is very cosy, welcoming, and clean. The host is very kind, and responsive. She responds to messages within minutes and is very flexible. We felt welcomed and supported. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped. I highly recommend this place for itself, and for the quality of communication with the host.

Awesome stay at Fidel’s place. Check in was easy and the included parking was great. Loved that the parking included a sign with my name to indicate the correct spot. Everything in the apartment was super clean. Bed was very comfortable. Laundry being included was also very convenient and an excellent amenity. We also really enjoyed the Simpson’s game. Would love to stay again!

We had an amazing stay at Amanda’s place! The home was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the cozy decor and convenient location. Amanda was a fantastic host, and we’d definitely book again. Highly recommend!

The place was beautiful inside and the garden was charming. Walking is not very easy based on the hill it’s perched on and busy streets. But quick drive into town and nice tucked away place right off the freeway. Great backyard for dogs and nice master suite for taking breaks from the hustle of family. If we go with a large group again this is up there in our Carmel list. Marco was great and very informative over the phone. Knew the place like the back of his hand so was able to give advice on little house amenities. Also was very thoughtful about our dog and making sure we kept them safe and in the yard. Overall great family place and beautiful home.

My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and had a fantastic time! The guesthouse was very close to both Monterey and Carmel, but far enough removed to be quiet and peaceful. It has a beautiful view from the balcony looking downhill and into the sea, and our host did an excellent job making us feel welcome.

I can't imagine writing a review that would accurately describe the experience at Munir's home. He thought of everything! We drove about 7, maybe 8 hours. When we arrived, we were exhausted but the lights were on, blinds open so we could begin the experience before we walked in the door. The refrigerator was stocked and the beds were so comfortable! When we woke in the morning, we got the full picture! Everything is close to his home, so it is convenient for sightseeing, shopping, hiking...etc... Munir's home is so warm and comfy, instead of dining out, we were content to hang out with the dogs and enjoy! Munir's warmth and attention to detail made this trip better than we could have imagined! Thank you Munir!!!

We only stayed there for one night but wish we could’ve stayed longer. It was a beautiful home and we felt very safe which was the number one priority. The host answers quickly. Everything was clean and he supplies silverware, paper towels, and febreeze in every bathroom, and other small things which was nice. There’s a nice fireplace and the furniture outside was clean. No annoying outside noise and parking the car in the garage was a plus. Definitely will have to do again.
