My family and I had such a wonderful stay here. What a cute and spotless place, so close to the beach, restaurants, and the aquarium. We brought our dog and they left out doggy bowls to accommodate and wine, cheese, and crackers were set up for us :) So easy to check-in, easy to find, and friendly hosts. Highly recommend this gem! Will definitely be back.

We’ve been staying at Dennis’s rental homes for our annual Monterey trip over the past few years, and they never disappoint. Dennis is a fantastic host, always responsive and thoughtful. The house is clean, cozy, and fully equipped with everything our family needs. We love the spacious layout and enjoyed spending time on the backyard patio. The location is perfect, close to the wharf, beaches, and all the local attractions. We look forward to our next stay!

The house was easy to find and check in went exactly as explained. She allowed us to drop off luggage early which was very helpful. House is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast recommendation was amazing!! Only wish is that I could try their lunch too. Checking out was quick and easy. I recommend this property and hope I get a chance to revisit it.

We weren’t checking in until Saturday afternoon, but the host made the aquarium passes easily available prior to check-in. Host was extremely prompt in any & all communication. Clean & quiet home for our stay!

Loved the place! Enjoyed fresh eggs for breakfast and the kids loved watching the chickens. Comfy home to stay in, felt like home.

Spacious unit right on the beach. Great view from dining area while enjoying morning coffee. Direct access to beach or boardwalk for walks with the dog. Easy access to all activities in Monterey county. This could become an annual retreat goal.

The cabin was so pretty. They even have their own trail which was awesome. The sauna was a cool experience. Overall I would 100% go back!

The perfect cabin getaway! The cabin was clean, quiet and comfortable. The host was very responsive via text. We enjoyed the onsite activities: pickle ball, archery and walking trails. We are planning to visit again soon!

This was amazing they were the best very clean well put together home with hot tub in the back lots of acres we got to walk around and see it all the host was nice and made us feel at home right away thank you I can’t wait to go back to camel by the sea thanks to them what a experience!!!!

Cute house. Would advise driving during daylight tho, the roads are extremely windy and challenging at night. We had a tough time driving up in the dark. The amenities like hot tub were great. House was as described! Easy to use amenities. Would advise bringing a jacket on April.

Carmel River Inn is exceptional! I have stayed here many times and it's always an excellent experience! Beautiful grounds, beautiful, quite,peaceful with a babbling brook behind it!! you can't go wrong, highly recommend it,easy access to many great restaurants and shopping

The house is very cosy, welcoming, and clean. The host is very kind, and responsive. She responds to messages within minutes and is very flexible. We felt welcomed and supported. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped. I highly recommend this place for itself, and for the quality of communication with the host.

Kim and her husband are an incredible couple. Lots of history at this place. They do an incredibly beautiful job of making you feel right at home. If you want a private beach house getaway with stunning sunsets, friendly locals, and a place to recenter relax and recharge this is the spot! Nothing but kudos to these guys and the atmosphere they created for me and my partner. Take a relaxing bath after a day at the beach spotting otters, seals and whales - 5 min walk to the sand - and watch the owls on property fly around at twilight! Magic through and through. My boyfriend and I spent the weekend at Fidel’s place and it was truly a wonderful stay. It was very close to Monterey and Carmel. The apartment was well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom and everything was very nice and neat. I would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely book again!

Jane’s place was a peaceful quaint spot for our weekend getaway. There’s a beautiful sunroof above the bed which gave great natural light, and the whole place had everything we needed and more, especially the kitchen, despite it size – even though we didn’t cook, in the case of a stay in night, we knew Jane’s kitchen was well equipped, same with the bathroom. Jane was very communicative throughout the whole weekend, with clear instructions on checking in and checking out. She was also very flexible with the check-in time, which we really appreciated. Overall, Jane’s space was a great spot to get away for the weekend and get out of town. Thanks again, Jane!

Lovely condo, back from the street, so relatively quiet. Clear instructions, roomy. The place was much better decorated than other AirBnBs, with vintage Santa Cruz photos and lovely Santa Cruz art posters. We’ll definitely come back.

We had such a lovely stay here! The home is beautiful, and our kiddos (2 yo and 4 yo) just love it here as well. We had so much fun eating family dinners on the patio outside, and we also loved watching the sunsets (and the fog roll in) on the front deck. We try to come out to Carmel once a year and this is our second time staying at Holly’s home. We look forward to staying here again for our next trip!

A sweet house close to all the best of Santa Cruz! We were in town for a wedding and it was a perfect home base. We loved biking to Capitola and walking to get coffe and ice cream. The house was a nice size for two couples. The host was responsive and low key. We would definitely stay here again if we return.
