Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You can enjoy the privacy of 3 acres on the beautiful Nueces River just minutes from Camp Wood. Rest and recreate, your choice, when you choose the Labyrinth spell that pulls you in for a true vacation. The water for the house is drawn from the river, 2 gallons and a case of water will be provided for your consumption, but you should bring more based on your group. The trail to the river is uneven and has some hills. There can be wild animals.

Located 16 miles N. of Uvalde, bumpy entrance road is 1.2 miles N. of Chalk Bluff. Park. The cabin is 1/4 mile, walking distance to the clear, beautiful Nueces River.

This peaceful cabin is centrally located in the Texas Hill Country, close to Garner State Park, Lost Maples State Park and Hill Country State Natural Area. Drive through the Hill Country on the Twisted Sisters, enjoying the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Close by, you can enjoy floating or swimming in the Frio River and the Sabinal River at the Utopia Park. Utopia has a renowned golf course featured in the movie Seven Days in Utopia. Concan 20 miles away also has a golf course.

Just 3.5 miles south of Lost Maples State Natural Area, big tooth maples and live oaks surround the Orchard Inn, providing shade and privacy, even though our home is nearby. Across the road, our “beach” offers privacy and a natural view of the Sabinal River. --Message us for update on river levels-- Progressive owners, our mantra is "make yourselves at home!"
