Great experience. Great find for a large family/ friend get together. Plenty of beds. We wanted that cabin vibe and that is what we got.

We all felt right at home. The place was all the we thought it would be. Plenty of space with the outdoors space being so beautiful. I would book this same place for another stay in the future. I really appreciate how nice and responsive Daniel was. Had a great experience

Our stay was wonderful! This cabin is not only in a fantastic location but was also perfect for accommodating our three-family group. There was ample parking and a fantastic view of the lake. Even during the off-season, the water level was high enough for us to take the canoe out, which was a treat. Pines Village was just a short, scenic walk away. We loved relaxing on the cozy couch indoors and on the dock to watch both sunrise and sunset over the lake. The cabin is very well-kept; don’t let the word 'rustic' deter you—it’s clean, comfortable, and spacious. We’re already looking forward to staying here again!

I had an amazing time at this house. The house was beautiful, it was the perfect nature vibe, it was easy to walk back and forth from the house to the dock. There were waterfalls all around the lake and fun trails to explore. I would absolutely go back.

We LOVE this cozy home right by the lake. It has everything you need! Great views and walking distance to a semi private beach area & dock. The house is clean and has all the amenities you would need for a family vacation. The swamp coolers keep the place cool, even in very hot weather. We cannot wait to go back!

This place far exceeded my expectations. Beautiful furnishings inside and out. Hosts were amazing, super friendly and helpful. The "kitchenette" was well equiped to cook almost anything.

AMAZING!!! We loved this Airbnb the view was beautiful, the inside made you feel like home. Mark was a very nice host we will definitely be booking this pace again for the summer.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a hiccup and could not stay the first night and Diann was kind enough to offer us another night. The house was clean, the years was beautiful with an awesome deck. The rooms had big comfortable beds and heaters to keep warm. We got there as it snowed and it was magical. The years was huge and fenced so safe for kids to play in the snow freely.

Great host- very helpful and proactive. Communicates actively and clearly. A beautiful cabin and lots of usable amenities. Electricity work is great ( lights and tv and temperature etc.). We were there last week of October- we had a wonderful stay there- nice weather- clear sky- lots of stars to see at the deck. Not too far from the south entrance. Parking is a bit tricky especially if you have a large SUV but Thorn sent suffice instructions to follow. Overall great stay.

The Bear House provided a wonderful home base for a winter trip to Yosemite with our 6 adult friends. We especially loved the view of the surrounding mountains from the backyard (and hot tub!), the furnace in the living room, and the game room! The kitchen had all we needed to make breakfast and dinner and we were pleased that there was ample firewood provided to keep the fire going all weekend long. After a long day hiking in the Yosemite Valley, the Bear House was a little over an hour away-- a reasonable distance that was much more affordable than staying in the valley. Rachel was an incredible host. She was super friendly, communicative, and really made us feel at ease prior to our arrival. She even went above and beyond to work with us when we had to cancel our trip and reschedule for a month later. Even though we were beyond the cancellation window, she fully refunded us for our prior stay once new visitors booked during our initial reservation. Thank you so much, Rachel!

Tim's place is just perfect for a visit to Yosemite National Park. We drove 3 hours from San Francisco to reach Tim's comfortable and well outfitted 3 bedroom home. It's a one hour drive to the park entrance. The morning greeted us with view from the deck of a herd of deer in the beautiful green backyard dotted with oak trees and and view of the hills in the distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Took the family to spend a weekend away and see Yosemite. Leslies home was perfect, we had a really great time. Plenty of space for the 7 of us, it could have definitely accommodated more without feeling crowded at all. The property is only about 20-30 minutes from Yosemite South entrance and 5-10 minutes from Oakhurst/Bass lake. Overall I will be keeping this property in mind for a return trip.

The Stewart family providing a very welcoming vacation house. We spent 3 nights at the house around Thanksgiving with two families, totaling 8 persons. It fitted us all very comfortably. There are many games and activities to do around the house. Our kids spent MANY hours outside on the huge trampoline in the front of the house, and playing with the foosball table inside the house. We also played soccer and baseball on the baseball field behind the house. So much fun! One day we made a roadtrip to Yosemite, which was a beautiful scenic 1.5hr drive away. The grownups and young-ones all enjoyed the hot tub under the very clear nightly starry sky! Wow so many stars!! We definitely recommend this house for group gatherings! The only downside we could think of was that there are no curtains installed in any of the bedrooms.

This home is by far the best place I have stayed at; amenities are on point, cleanliness and attention to detail are amazing. House is fully stocked with everything you need and can think of. The pictures online do not do justice to how the home and property look in person. Donna (host) communicates well and made my stay smooth and stress free. This is the place to be if you're visiting Yosemite, Bass Lake and areas nearby. Looking forward to staying here again soon. Only suggestion would be to look into car charger, otherwise Tesla Supercharger is about 10 min from the house.

My family and I wanted a peaceful Christmas in a quiet and beautiful setting and this hit the mark completely. We saw very few people and had a spectacular time cooking, relaxing, and marveling at nature. We all slept incredibly well as the mattresses were just right for us. We all commented how comfortable the beds were. Very enjoyable stay.

We had a blast visiting the boat house! We love how clean and organized everything is in this space. We appreciate how quiet the mountain community is. It was the perfect peaceful getaway for our family’s vacation. Thanks for being such great hosts! Can’t wait to be back!

This place is magical. Tom and Louise were amazing with us very welcoming, show us everything, and provide us with details of where to find good restaurants and tips of how to navigate around there. The peace, tranquility and having to luxury to wake up in the morning and enjoy the gorgeous surroundings doesn't have a price. We had the chance to enjoy the first visit of the eagle 🦅 this year and it was wonderful to see it flying around the lake. I can't wait to make my way back again to CA and enjoy this beautiful place again. Thanks Louise and Tom, your energy and your place recharged my soul.

Love this place! This is the first stay we brought our dog, Asher. And he LOVED it. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Definitely will stay here everytjme we drive to Yosemite!

Definitely recommend booking with Wendy if your looking for a home on the lake. This is our second time staying in this rental and we will continue booking for our weekend getaways. The home is heated by a wood fire and warms up the house quickly. There's additional room heaters as well which was nice to have in the morning. The rental is clean, everything you need in the kitchen to prepare a meal, and plenty of firewood to keep the fire going. Jacuzzi was clean and was relaxing to look at the stars on a cold night. Thank you again Wendy for accommodating us in your home! Can't wait for our next trip.
