House was exactly as pictured, although could use a little update. Kitchen island has some loose areas where clothes caught on, and very minimally stocked utensils/supplies- make sure to bring your own fave things if you will stay in and cook! (We didn’t need much this time around) Very clean space. Older but fully functioning washer and dryer- so nice to have this amenity especially for longer stays. Small but fully fenced-in backyard, was perfect for our pups to use especially for nighttime potty break- would loved to have seen more grass- mostly leaves and be careful of ants. Big bathroom, great water pressure in shower. Small but comfortable bedrooms- slept great on the beds! Very comfy couch and lazy boy chair. A stack of board games was a plus! Overall extremely satisfied with our stay! We were in town for a wedding and also wanted to enjoy some beach time. Host was available when we needed something and was very kind to our requests. Would stay here again!

Our stay at Melissa’s place was fantastic! She was super responsive from the beginning. We came down for the week of our wedding so we were pretty stressed, but Melissa took away some of that stress by making our stay phenomenal. The house is absolutely gorgeous, colorful and fun! It was a fantastic space for a big family and pets. Our dogs loved having a yard to play in and space for the kids to run around with. Melissa also checked in with me after we had settled in and made sure we were happy with the accommodations. The house was also clean and tidy both inside and out back. Would highly recommend this home for your next stay in the area! We will definitely be back!

Extraordinary stay! We came from Western North Carolina ( Asheville) 2 weeks after Helen and it felt like heaven! The space was more beautiful than the photos, a short walk to a calm beach, phenomenal community and fully stoked with everything we didn’t want to transport after the devastation at home. The rooms are large with cozy beds, the view of the golf course is incredible and they even had a wagon with beach toys and chairs for our children and my mother. Coastal is outstanding all around, helpful, kind, friendly and compassionate when helping us navigate some hiccups. Plus, our children were able to receive some equine therapy which was a huge plus. All around marvelous!!!

This was our second stay at the house, and we hope to keep coming back. House is comfy and clean and has everything you need. The peacefulness and beauty of the marsh, the birdsong, and the wind in the trees are balm to the soul.

I can’t say enough great things about this property and about Jessie and Rob. The house is beautiful, in an incredible location (so close to all things Folly Beach!), and they offer so many amenities. They are also so responsive and friendly! We had no issues on our trip but I feel certain if we had I would have heard from them immediately. I don’t have a lot of Airbnb experience but I can see the huge difference in working directly with the owners of the property. They really care and take great pride in providing the best experience for their guests (the ones with 4 legs too!). This trip was so special to us bringing our little 14 year old dog and we couldn’t have stayed in a better home. We are already talking about our next visit to Folly Beach and now that we have been spoiled by this home, and the wonderful experience, we won’t even consider anywhere else. Pura Vida was great for us! I was traveling with two teenaged grandchildren and two of their friends, and my two year old grandson. There was plenty of room for everyone to be together or to have some space to themselves. Lots of options for everyone to do! Unfortunately (or fortunately) we never figured out how to use the tv effectively or the DVD player, but honestly, I think that was for the best! It’s a nice walk to the beach, and you can hear the ocean while hanging out in the yard or on the porch.

the house was spacious and comfortable. Perfect for 3 couples with plenty of room to be together but also ample private space for everyone. Some of the appliances are a bit dated, but the kitchen was otherwise well-equipped. The management company was immediately responsive when we ran into a couple of minor issues. The view of the marsh is spectacular and the screened porch provided a wonderful, bug-free area for us to enjoy being outside. Only thing which could be improved is that the beds are small and the rooms could definitely accommodate larger beds.
