Black Chasm Caverns is a 30 minute drive as well as Jackson Rancheria Casino. Kirkwood Skiing is an hour drive. We have a Tesla charging station for an additional $20 a night.

Really great space for families. The home had a great layout, tastefully decorated and everything you could ask for in home. Conveniently located next to a Target and Wal-Mart, we were able to stock the fridge and eat in. It’s a little ways to spots like Midtown or the American River or Folsom Lake, but it made for a nice day out. Lastly, the 11 am check out was a bit tough on a family with a toddler (getting breakfast, make sure the check out requirements were done, etc.) but the home was beautiful, the host was helpful, and it met our needs. Thank you Marco!

We had a lovely time with family here. Beautiful setting, very clean and neat, nicely managed with professionalism. My kids loved the bunk beds. Some family members did think the beds were on the firm side, but I slept great. Wish there were a few more towels available for our use (and for the price of the rental), as we had to wash a load. We had a lucky stay with snow, and the property was just perfect! Janet was a great host and the care put into the home and hosting really shows!

Cool off and relax at The Little River Hideaway!

Gosh where do I start? This was by far my favorite place we have stayed so far. The home was beautiful, cozy, and the accommodations were perfect. We barely left the home (just for food and groceries) and spent almost all of our time outdoors by the river making memories with our littles. Our dog got to hang out with us as well. We loved the fact that the deck can be gated and closed and this relieved a lot of stress as far as having to constantly watch our dog. The atmosphere is relaxing, the home is clean, and has everything you need. Outside, there are multiple sitting areas and direct access to the water. During hot peak hours, we took dips in the river with the kids and during cooler temps in the evenings, we relaxed in the hot tub. We are planning on making this a yearly tradition. The host was very kind and responsive and just friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!!
