Family-friendly vacation rentals in Whitehall

Such a lovely home! I have already recommended it to several friends and family! This house has to have the best location in all of grand haven- so easily accessible to everything in the downtown little city. The hot tub was so nice for the winter! Christmas time in Grand Haven was surprising magical! Buddy the Elf showed up several of the bars and Lucy's felt like we were in a hallmark movie. I'll be returning next holiday season!

Peaceful and quiet place. Lots of things to do for kids. Will definitely come back again next year.

Our family had a great weekend at the cabin. Place is very private right in the woods. Hot tub was great. Fireplace outside was perfect. Comfy beds, nice tv and appliances. Very cozy feel inside. Wood burning stove was cool but had to keep it off for the most part because we had young kids. It was easy to find with our gps.

It was the best place for many guests to enjoy together.

The Loft was incredible. It was a perfect 10. It was cozy, private and walking distance to many things. It was stocked with any appliance you would find in your own home. It is beautifully decorated with art and musical instruments. We can’t wait to go back soon. Highly recommend!!!

Peaceful getaway on Macatawa Bay in a gorgeous and very spacious house. Full of great equipment. Ideal location and the view on the Marina is stunning.

We had a wonderful stay at Sandra’s beautiful place! It was a perfect spot for our three generation family…cozy places to sleep, 2 1/2 bathrooms, board games for days, space for lounging and toddler play, a great kitchen/dining area for all of our meals, great outdoor space with a hot tub, and access to the gorgeous beach. We played games, cooked meals, watched the Olympics and a movie or two, soaked in the hot tub, had great beach time, and visited nearby attractions. We’ll never forget Lewis Adventure Farm and Zoo, Little Sable Point Lighthouse, and the Cherry Point Farm and Market’s beautiful flower maze. And then the beach time back at “home”….the 163 steps to the Lake were no problem for the 20 mo. old, 75 yr. old, and everyone in between! Many trips to the beach offered windy days with fantastic waves, calm days with peaceful breezes, and evening sunsets with s’mores around a campfire…doesn’t get much better! Thanks to Sandra for allowing us to make wonderful memories

First time staying at an AirBNB with our family of five and our standard doodle, and we have been spoiled for any other future AirBNBs . We were a bit apprehensive about staying in a home where the owner was present, but Lisa’s place met and exceeded our expectations. Lisa’s communication was fast, concise, and informative. The accommodations were clean, tidy, and homey. The amenities are too numerous to mention, but I can say Lisa anticipated and provided for just about any need that may arise during your stay. We would definitely stay here again, and we would recommend it to others.

The place is lovely and worked well for my family. The cost of a two night stay doubled w tax, cleaning fees, etc. We almost cancelled due to the final cost for two nights. Is it possible to offer short stays the option of cleaning themselves to eliminate that cost?

This was a warm and welcoming place to stay. It had everything we needed and then some. I couldn't recommend this spot more and Kym was so incredibly kind. We ran into her outside and she offered all kinds of knowledge and suggestions. Thank you for the more than hospitable stay.

Cynthia happened to be out with her pup as we arrived. She made the time to take me to one of the neighborhood's beach access sites so I could find the path on my own. Her place is well appointed and comfortable.

This was my second visit to Robert’s place in 3 weeks. That alone should tell you something. This time I stayed for two nights to do some writing. This space is an invitation to reflect, to create, and to breathe. Robert has a magnanimous personality and a generous hospitality that makes this place so much more than just a good place to sleep although with a quiet cabin deep in the woods, a babbling brook and astounding starlit skies, it is also very much that.

We love it there. This was our second time in the cabin, and third time on their properties. The place is so warm and inviting. Extremely private, clean, and had everything in the kitchen to cook with. Can’t wait to go back. Melanie was extremely accommodating, and even allowed us another hour to sleep in. 5 Star all day long!!😀

Only stayed for one night but everything was as expected. Very nice and clean guest cottage that felt like home for us and our 2 dogs. Only a 10 minute drive to downtown. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful home and views. Everything was clean and cozy. Lots of board games, card games, etc to do. Tracy was responsive and helpful.

Had a wonderful stay. Would definitely stay again. Kelli was very helpful and welcoming. The house was full of charm and spotless.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Chunky Monkey. Our 4 adults and 2 kids found the accomodations and amenities more than met our expectations. The kitchen was well stocked and outfitted for all kinds of meals. Very large living room was great for TV watching and just visiting with everyone. The pool and club house were popular with our group too. We hope to come back soon!

Great place to stay near Ludington. Check in was super easy and they deliver firewood to your site! The host answers questions over text which was nice. We stayed in a rustic cabin which had a table and beds inside. There was electricity for plugging in our phones. We also liked the overhead fan.

Great place to stay for a large family. Lakes’s Rental were great people to work with! They were on top of everything!

As always the place is beautiful , clean and well managed. Ben is communicative and friendly as well as the staff that help out. If you’re looking for a place close to the beach with easy access to food, parks and the outdoors this is the place.

Jennifer’s house was incredible for our 2 family vacation. The kids had an amazing time kayaking and splashing in the pool, and it was wonderful that they had plenty of books, toys, and games available. The adults enjoyed the separate living rooms, beautiful back porch, and well-stocked kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. There is an uncrowded beach just a mile down the road with easy parking and nearby Holland had plenty of shopping and great restaurants.

Fantastic beech neighborhood house. Ed is very responsive and very helpful! Perfectly stocked house, very comfortable beds.

We greatly enjoyed the stay here. It was close to our event, which was out in the “back 40”. It’s takes a little getting to, but it’s worth the drive…and the stay.

Very cozy, cute guesthouse in a super safe area. Bedroom and sitting room were huge and the bed was comfy. A quiet place, there were nice areas to walk around near the river and the park. Heidi was responsive and helpful and I will stay here again when visiting GR!
