Vacation rentals in St. Joseph

The Hideaway definitely deserves all of the praise it's received in other reviews. If anything, it exceeded my expectations. AirBNB reviews don't allow you the option to praise personal touches, but they were just everywhere, from the snacks left in the kitchen and the array of coffee pods to blankets to keep you warm to the lovely flower boxes outside of the bedroom window. It was just enchanting!

We loved our stay, it was perfect! Very clean, loved the extra amenities! Definitely would stay again ! It felt like we were in the middle of no where which we loved, but we weren’t which we also loved. Host was very communicative!

Markus and Tim hosted my mom and step dad over the weekend for my mom’s 60th birthday! She had the best time and showed me the beautiful lake they had behind their home. She was able to relax in the hot tub and enjoy the rest of the amenities the property came with. They were wonderful hosts! 10/10 recommend :)

Hannah’s cottage was exactly what I wanted and needed for my solo silent retreat weekend. The cottage is perfect for one person and the best part was the fact that it was right next to one of the oldest pine trees in SW Michigan! I am in the process of writing my second book and this location brought the peace and tranquility to allow my creative process to shine. It was also only about a 1 mile walk to Lake Michigan which I went to multiple times during my stay. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a restorative weekend!

This was my second time staying at Jens place and I know I'll be back. Both times were for a relaxing girls trip and both times were perfect. Less than a 5 minute walk to beautiful lake Michigan beaches, a private backyard with a hot tub, extremely comfortable and CLEAN beds and furniture. Tons of things to do and see on a short drive in any direction, and so many great recommendations by Jen. She was very responsive during our stay and super helpful. I already miss it!!

I brought my four kids age 2-16 for some special time at the lake, dunes, and St Joseph. We really enjoyed the home, it was very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated… comfy beds, well stocked but not cluttered kitchen, and my little ones absolutely loved the children’s bedroom. The private beach is an easy walk and it’s beautiful. Kristi had great recommendations and is the most gracious and hospitable host.

This place is great! Very nice deck, big backyard with a nice fire pit area. Christine left snacks, a bottle of wine and the kitchen was well stocked! Would recommend highly and would come back!

Amazing BEAUTIFUL lakeside retreat. Paul and Linda have everything you need to stay in and relax OR tons of recommendations of things to do in the area. Our stay was perfect, peaceful and we would recommend their place to anyone. Clean and well maintained. They are thoughtful hosts, we absolutely would return anytime!!!!

Erin‘s place was exactly as published. The space was clean and comfortable, with an inviting outdoor area as well. Convenient and walkable to downtown with a variety of shopping and restaurant options. It was a perfect respite for me, which was what I was seeking. I highly recommend.

We celebrated our 20th anniversary in this beautiful setting! Blake's on the Bluff was exactly what was advertised and delivered. The home was lovely, clean, and close to local beaches, restaurants, and shops. The hot tub and view offered peaceful relaxation. We can't really say enough good things about our experience. Erica and Alyssa were just a text away and offered great recommendations and answered any questions promptly. We hope to stay again and highly recommend this property.

We thought the home was exactly as pictured. Location was perfect for exploring around various parts of Southwest Michigan. We enjoyed our stay at Molly’s & would consider staying there again on future visits to the area.

In the area for our son’s wedding. Anna’s home was in a great area, convenient to the vineyard venue. The house was extremely clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a great weekend. Anna was available and accessible for any questions or issues. Great home and had a wonderful time in the area.

Adorable little cottage in a great location for SW Michigan and plenty of space for a family. Great communication with hosts. They even swung by with some laundry pods when we noticed the supply was missing. We had a relaxed and comfortable stay.

Picturesque log cabin with clean modern amenities. Family of 5 with kids 5 and under had a great time with the toys, yard games, hot tub, bon fire and just generally enjoying the amazing property. Easy trips into South Haven for the day then evenings at the cabin made for an excellent fall vacation. Thank you Nina!

We had a great time visiting this area. The house was very spacious. Kitchen and living area gave us ample room. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and nice. The home was fairly quiet. The hot tub was an added bonus. The restaurants in the area were wonderful. We found plenty of things to keep us busy. Would highly recommend.

Wish we could have stayed even longer! Leah’s lake house was absolutely picturesque and perfect for our little family to get away for the weekend. The pontoon was an amazing added bonus. We loved eating our meals on the back porch viewing the lake and having a fire in the fire pit. The house was cozy and exactly what we needed for our family of 5 (2 young kids under 10 and a toddler). Plus even though it was so quiet and quaint, it was incredibly close to restaurants, Lake Michigan, and the Dunes National Park. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Mike’s place was wonderful! From the start of booking, he was very responsive and accommodating. The home had beautiful views and was crystal clean upon arrival. We hope to visit again in the summer to enjoy the pool!

My family and I were blown away by the house and its surroundings. We were a party of 10 adults attending my nephew's wedding at the Marion Magnolia Farms venue which was about 2 miles away. There was plenty of room, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to make meals. Except the food, of course. Plenty of bath towels, blankets, etc. Bring bottled water. The backyard setting adjacent to the lake was tranquil and peaceful. The weather was beautiful for October (high 70's). We spent the evening around the fire pit making s'mores. No mosquitoes or flies. Yay!!!!!!! You literally will not want to leave!!!!!!!!!!!! But we had to get back to reality. For 3 days and 2 nights we were able to escape the busyness of everyday living. Thanks Amy for allowing us to have a wonderful mini-vacation/wedding celebration at your AirBnB.

I loved this home! This house and surroundings far exceeded my expectations. Decor was beautiful well suited to the home. Everything was perfect and I plan to return for another stay.

I gave this place 5 stars happily, but a few things to note. The backyard is amazing and also very wet, so my daughter couldn’t play in the grass. The fence around the water allowed me to feel safer if my daughter somehow got out of the house, it would slow her down. However it was a deterrent for wanting to use the lake. The fence is there as a geese deterrent, which helped there to not be poop all over the yard. It’s a great idea with some draw backs. The lake is very clean! We swam and played frisbee in the water, baddleboarded and floated! The house being just one story was AMAZING! My daughter could crawl around and I felt like it was extremely safe and kid friendly! The bathrooms were clean and water pressure was amazing! There are a lot of rules to follow. Which I was grateful for because it allowed the house to be and stay awesome! Lastly the house manager at our time of stay was very helpful and kind!

We really enjoyed our time. Peaceful and quiet area close to Notre Dame.
