Located just blocks off the water, our 1920s era cottage is nestled within the historic Lakeside neighborhood of Muskegon. Restaurants, bars, a distillery, shopping, and ice cream are a short walk from the cottage. Best of all, the beach is just a five minute drive away.

Originally built in 1940 as a double camping lodge with a shared bath between them, The Loft is one of those, with a home addition added on in the 1960's. When I remodeled the home I created the modern version of a one room camping lodge with a bathroom and loft sleeping area. The home is full of character and some quarks but rest assured it is absolutely comfortable, cozy and efficiently set up for your stay.

A cozy living area features vibrant turquoise walls and various seating options, including patterned chairs and soft bean bags. A gray sofa is accented with colorful pillows, and a coffee table sits centrally. Small decorative elements include a Christmas tree and stockings, adding a festive touch.
