This beautiful cottage on the lake was just beautiful! Brenda thought of every little detail (right down to tweezers)! I even took notes on how to set up our guest room space! It was cold, but we still had a great stay! I will say the beds are very firm so bring a mattress pad if that’s not your jam. I am so sad this cottage is all booked up for Summer! We will definitely be back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cozy Cottage, and it was indeed a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The charming and well-maintained cottage offers a perfect blend of comfort and tranquility. From the moment I arrived, I felt at ease, surrounded by peaceful surroundings and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The interior is cozy and thoughtfully designed, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor space was perfect for enjoying my morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. Whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or a base for exploring the area, the Cozy Cottage is an excellent choice. I can't recommend it enough for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway!

Overall we had a wonderful experience. Great location. The cabin is walking distance to beach and shops. The views from deck are beautiful. My only recommendations are better mattresses, especially on bottom bunk bed and to include kitchen towels. No laundry available which is perfectly fine for a short stay but would be harder for longer stays. They had a lot of books and games. The cabin was clean, easy to access, and was a great size. We loved that we could bring our family dog along .

This was the perfect t get away to be right on the water. The area was quiet with lots to do on the property! We loved our stay!

We loved this quaint cabin! It’s off the beaten path and feels very secluded, yet it’s close to everything! The stairs to the beach are worth the trip if you’re physically able. The heaters work well to keep you warm at night. And the fireplace is fabulous! Comfy, cozy, clean and beautiful views! Thanks for having us!

My 10-year-old and I had a great time catching fish in the pond and playing board games. We plan to come back!

Deer in back yard was a delight

We stayed during the "off" season so lots of activities, shops and places to eat were closed. We didn't mind too much because we were looking for a relaxing and peaceful stay. It has to be amazing during the warmer months when you can take advantage of being outside and in the water. Since the house is right on the lake, we had beautiful views. I was lucky enough to catch an amazing sunrise. "The Sandlot" was exactly what you think of when you think family lakehouse. Rustic, cozy and charming. It felt very homey. The house was one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed. The only issue we had were so many trips up and down the stairs. If you have any mobility issues like me, (bad knee) then you must be careful on the stairs. They can be kind of slippery in socks.

This fabulous place exceeded our expectations! Lake Michigan was as gorgeous as we imagined, but the house matched it! The hosts thought of literally anything and everything a guest might want or need. I cannot recommend this airbnb highly enough. Holland is an adorable town and this is the best homebase to enjoy the incredible view and get away from it all. Be sure check out the local farmer's market and then create your feast in the well-stocked kitchen. Will definitely be back!

The cottage provides a wonderful view of Lake Michigan. It is clean, and the owners are very attentive to your needs. The beach is very accessible, and nearby Pentwater is an attractive place to visit.

Exceptional deal! Tons of space, gorgeous house and location, just be mindful that there are a ton of stairs to get into the house. Highly, highly recommend!

It's like coming homing! Everything in the listing was as expected. We arrived a bit later than planned and I can't tell you what a godsend it was to find the coffee in the cupboard the next morning! La Bella Vie is peaceful, we loved the walk to the beach and the neighbors were very friendly and welcoming - you can tell they appreciate the care Linda & Greg take when accepting rental requests. All 4 of the Grandkids (8 - 19) enjoyed the cottage (it was great to see them off their phones and playing board games!) and I appreciated having so many attractions not only nearby, but included in the information the hosts sent prior to our arrival. I can't say enough great things...wonderful hosts, great cottage and a beautiful setting. The next West Michigan vacation we take will certainly have La Bella Vie on the list! Thank you!

Great rental! Great location that's quiet with a nice lake view. It's truly a hidden lakeside gem. Only issue I had was for the carpenter who installed the master bedroom door on 'backwards'.

We had an amazing stay, the cabin/cottage was just as pictured and was cozy but also surprisingly roomy inside and had a great layout with comfortable furniture. A great spot especially for families, the kitchen was well stocked with plates and utensils, and main area had games and toys for the adults and kids. Outside, they also provided lots of extras for activities with the kids, including a clean sandy area next to the lake with toys and a paddle boat which we enjoyed. The dock provided A+ fishing. Loaded with Bluegill AND very healthy Largemouth Bass. Location couldn't have been more perfect, secluded but with great access to the off-road sand dunes park (approx 6 minute away), and Dune Town (only about 3 minutes away). The backyard had great ambience with the lights, hammocks and patio furniture perfect for chilling. Very clean and tidy, everything worked as it should.

I’ve worked with a lot of good hosts during AirBNB travels, but Brad was by far the most communicative and accommodating of the hosts I’ve used. He answered very obscure questions about the property and made the logistics far easier to manage. I’m so grateful for his help, and the location itself is lovely. Only qualm is that the interest at the location was not working during our stay, but the host was aware and is working to fix the issue! Besides, at a place as nice as Brad’s, we didn’t want to be on our phones anyway! Thanks for the wonderful trip!

This was by far the favorite cottage we have rented. The beach area was perfect for our kids ages 3, 7, 10. They loved swimming, going fishing, making smores around the pit, sleeping in bunk beds and watching Netflix! The neighbors were so friendly too. We also enjoyed relaxing under the pergola and being so close to several bike trails.

We had an amazing week at Vickie's beautiful lakefront cottage in early September. The weather was perfect, and being a bit out of season, we were the only people around so it was very private and peaceful. Vickie sent a thorough welcome message initially with clear instructions for accessing the property, and provided some great recommendations for things to do in the area (aside from spending time on the beach!) She was always quick to respond to all other messages too. The house itself was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The setting just can't be beat - Vickie's home is on a great stretch of sugar sand beach. We really enjoyed taking sunset beach walks. Lastly, it meant a lot to us that we were able to bring our two dogs with us, and especially since we had to say goodbye to one of them shortly after getting home. We were so glad she had one last beach trip. I can't recommend Vickie's home highly enough. She was an exceptional host, and we can't wait to go back!

Kathy did an amazing job renovating this property, and we really appreciated all of her personal and special touches, such as the handmade pottery dishes in the kitchen and decorative touches around the house. We are a very crafty family and really appreciated her artistry. It was a very comfortable stay all around, the beds were super comfortable, towels fluffy, and every kitchen amenity we could possibly need was provided. The view from the house is amazing, and it’s a great location on the lake, just a short drive from Montague. We had only wished there was a fire pit next to the house, and not just down at the lake as there were several people in our party who are not able to travel up and down the stairs due to knee issues. Also, if you are a light sleeper I would recommend the upstairs bedrooms, you can hear every footstep upstairs from the basement bedrooms. All in all, Cathy is an excellent host, the house very comfortable and convenient, and we absolutely recommend.

Loved, loved, loved this house & the location! Beautiful view of Lake Michigan from the front porches (top & bottom). Neighborhood is wonderful for walking on the beach, close to the channel and close to the Deck. (The Deck is great for a fun evening of live music & eats!) The house had everything we needed. Loved the decor & cozy touches (lots of throw blankets for curling up when it’s cool!). The downstairs bedroom with two queen beds & a loft bed & a large tv was terrific for a late night family hang-out after the Deck but not wanting to miss our team playing college football. This house truly deserves its 5-star rating. Everything about it hit the mark & Taylor is a very responsive host. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our time as a family. We spent the weekend as a Christmas getaway with our children and grandchild. The pool table was popular.

This house was just as great as the pictures. We enjoyed watching sunsets from the deck and taking in the lake views all day long. The neighborhood is very private and quiet. Also the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. As we were traveling with 2 children under the age of 2, we enjoyed having the baby equipment available. The baby gates were very necessary with all the stairs. Jamie was very responsive and easy to work with. You will not be disappointed in this rental.

This house is simply awesome! Makes a week at the lake easy and fun to have a private beach steps away, and a killer setup to enjoy nightly sunsets. Well-equipped kitchen and spacious for family fun. Also a great location for outings - easy to get to both grand haven and holland as well as tons of local parks and beaches. A special find!

Our stay at Sarah's place was fantastic. Location in the high dunes overlooking Lake Michigan was phenomenal! Decor & vibe of the house was beach themed and we felt right at home from the moment we walked through the door. We took full advantage of expansive outside eating options eating meals & doing happy hour overlooking the shore line. She had numerous fun water activity options including kayaks, float, & beach chairs. We were in the water every day taking advantage of the fresh water (we are used to salt water since we live near an ocean). Amenities in the house were top notch with every possible kitchen utensil you would ever need. We were in town for a family wedding & had 6 family members who had flown in from Boston & LA which was an easy drive from GRR. There was plenty of room for us all to spread out & feel comfortable yet excellent hang out spaces so we could be together as a family. We would love to come back & we highly recommend Sarah's home as she was an awesome host!
