Lake house vacation rentals in West Virginia

We all loved our stay! Beautiful home & view. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard. Becky was so kind and made sure we were all set up for a great stay. We can't wait to visit again.

Amazing place. Great view of the lake and a very nice neighborhood to walk. Lots of Wildlife and it was far enough away from town, yet close enough for amenities. definitely would rent this again!

Excellent accommodations. We were 5 adults, 2 toddlers, an infant and two dogs and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kids enjoyed the spacious first floor for their magna-tile and lego projects and the adults were happy at the large dining table. The outdoors were quiet, spacious and plenty of opportunities for the kids to run around. We used this location as a central point for the high peaks hike in MD and WV, an excellent location. Also visited Blackwater Falls and Seneca Rocks - amazing natural wonders. Would definitely rent again if in the area.

This place was phenomenal!! Went with a group of friends and it was so peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely be booking again! Brian is an amazing host!

Such a peaceful setting for a long weekend away! We spent a lot of our time simply sitting around the fire pit and enjoying the space with our pup.

This place was such a pleasant surprise. Pictures and descriptions cannot do it justice. So clean and peaceful. Every little detail thought of. Kim is very proactive and thoughtful. My friends and I are already making plans for our next visit. You really just have to bring your clothes and food and show up. Such a stress free trip. Kim you thought of everything! Every minute was spent just enjoying ourselves. We never needed to even bother you. Thanks for a wonderful reunion trip. Loved everything about it. Why look again for something when this is perfect. See you again around April.

This was a great place to relax and enjoy nature in West Virginia! Easy access to a lake and near plenty of great hiking spots was a huge plus. Kimberly and Ethan were amazing hosts and were always fast to respond whenever I had a question

Love GG’s retreat! It was perfect for our girls trip getaway. Shayla was a perfect host! We were welcomed with fresh cookies, she made us aware of potentially severe weather & kept our safety a priority, was very understanding with unexpected flight changes, and was very responsive. The home was very clean and the porch has a perfect sunset view, all around this was an amazing stay!

Perfect! My kids are already asking to go back. They loved having their own little bunk house. The large gated deck and yard area were great for our dog. The cabin was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The best part was the location. We did use the 2 kayaks. My son (45lbs) was able to fit in the larger kayak with me. My daughter brought her paddleboard. The 10min walk to the lake is easy pulling the kayaks on the way down. Coming back is a little uphill but manageable...if you have a truck you drive it down to the gate after and haul them up to greatly shorten the trip. Even if you dont kayak, the walk to the lake is worth it! We kayaked to the left along gorgeous cliffs and even passed a small waterfall. The location is also close to hiking, restaurants, the lighthouse...it really couldnt have been better!! Thank you so much for letting us stay here. :)

Could use handicap accessible where we was but we will be coming back soon it was nice

This location was peaceful and serene. The place was clean and exactly as described. The kitchen had all necessary items to cook. The view was beautiful. I would recommend this air bnb and would be glad to stay here again.

Great response time. we had a few issues, host was quick to remedy. we enjoyed our stay. would stay again. there is a pool and food at the lodge I would highly recommend. when you arrive there is a security gate at the end of the community, you have to check in with them. they give you your pass and make sure you are supposed to be there. the guard also told us you can get access to go to the lodge or amenities without being a guest staying overnight.

The house was absolutely perfect! it's a beautiful place with beautiful views. The layout was great for our big group of people and everything was so clean and comfortable. Check in was easy, host was very responsive through messages and information was clear and easy to follow. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. My whole group was really impressed. thanks

Everything is so beautiful, the stay was quiet, a very familiar and cozy space, very clean, everything super tidy, the decoration very nice, an excellent option to spend time with the family

Absolutely the Best Airbnb Experience We’ve Ever Had! This was our first vacation with our 9-month-old daughter, and it couldn’t have gone more perfectly. The house was exactly as described—immaculately clean, extremely spacious, and thoughtfully designed. We loved everything about the space. The hosts were outstanding—very responsive and checked in with us multiple times to ensure we had everything we needed. We even had the pleasure of meeting Deb while they were working on a nearby property—she was so warm and friendly! We’re already planning to return to one of their homes this fall because the experience was that incredible. We also loved how much there was to explore in the area. Highly recommend—this was easily the best stay we’ve ever had. Thank you for being so professional, welcoming, and kind!

Danielle was so hospitable and welcoming. She shared her home that she decorated with care and was present each morning to get the coffee brewing for us. We were not lacking in any way. We would love to visit again when we are back in town!

My husband and I were looking for a peaceful place for Thanksgiving, away from the noise of the city and specifically for a house with a piano, since he likes to play classical music. This place had everything and a lot more. The pictures are accurate. We had fun playing ping pong. The kitchen was fully equipped. We loved the vintage décor particularly of the elephant-themed room with wicker furniture where we had coffee and hot chocolate. While my husband played the piano, I would be in the TV room watching Netflix movies, reading or just doing nothing. I went out to the deck to take a video of the flock of birds flying over the river (so beautiful!) Glancing into the calming river through the windows was so relaxing! It was cold outside, so we mostly stayed in, but drove by Harper’s Ferry and stopped by in Sheperdstown to have brunch. All in all, the perfect vacation! 100% recommended! The communication with Liz was smooth and she provided all the information that we needed.

We are repeat customers and as always everything was perfect .... we will be back Crystal !!
