Family-friendly vacation rentals in Wayzata

My family and I selected Aaron and Colleen as hosts based on their five-star rating and safe location. However, we received more than what was expected. The first day, we were met with a personalized note, chocolates, and drinks in the fridge, including homemade cold brew! Such a thoughtful touch made us feel right at home. We were busy with family activities in the city, so we didn’t use the Peloton, hot tub, or sauna as expected. Still, returning to immaculate, extremely comfortable, stylish accommodation was lovely. The mattress was perfect! We also enjoyed listening to various records on the record player while playing cards and board games; it felt nostalgic. We enjoyed our stay, to say the least, and hope to revisit our experience at some future time.

We booked three nights to accommodate extended family coming from Chicago and Duluth to celebrate my son’s graduation from UMN. This place was perfect for us! There was plenty of room for everybody. The kitchen, open living room area, and deck worked really well for entertaining. We threw a BBQ get together for my son’s friends, a huge success in this great space. The place is very well stocked with everything we needed. We also heated up the sauna each morning to start the day! Emily was very responsive to our every need. Thank you!

A beautiful and well kept home very quiet neighborhood, pet friendly we love the fact that the master bedroom was on a separate wing. Lots of space for everyone to spread out and plenty of bathrooms.

Your place was a perfect fit for our weekend plans! We could stay and relax, but also did activities in the Cities due to close proximity. Perfect fit and place to allow our fur baby to come along! THANK YOU!

Love the house and has all we need! They have a lot of stuff for kids and have kitchen stuff other airbnbs don’t usually have. We enjoyed our stay!

This well-equipped home is the perfect base for exploring Minneapolis. It's convenient to lots of activities and restaurants, but a tranquil spot to relax with plenty of space both inside and outside. Highly recommend.

Katie and Curt were wonderful hosts to our Minneapolis Spring Break adventure! We loved having a home base at such a convenient, beautiful, central location. Our kids enjoyed the hot tub and the nearby playground. We enjoyed the neighborhood and walking into Linden Hills for meals and shopping. Katie & Curt were responsive to questions that came up during our stay and were friendly and gracious hosts.

This home was perfect, we visited Saint Paul for my son’s wedding. this house was very close to the venue and could accommodate up to nine people. Because of the design and the bedrooms, we were able to allow the groomsmen to dress at the house and have enough room to visit with them. Our host were very helpful with instructions how to get into the house. I will absolutely be rebooking this house in the future.. I did have one issue with the code to the bedroom lock door when I asked for assistance. I was help within five minutes thank you so much.

The house was charming, and had lots of amenities. The kitchen had more pots and pans, silverware, appliances than I’ve ever seen at any other Airbnb where we’ve stayed. It was awesome!! Having use of the garage is also rare, and it was so convenient. We were there in the spring, and it would be really helpful in the winter. Kudos to excellent hosts for making the atmosphere so friendly and warm.

Very sweet spot. Bigger/better in person than in the pics. Although it is all one open space, there is some privacy in the two sleeping areas.

Very cute and peaceful place. It was very nice inside and easy to get to. If you have kids or pets it's the perfect little Airbnb. it has a very large backyard with a secure fence. It even has a swing set. Our dogs loved running around.

This was my third stay here as I have family in town and love having my own space while visiting. This now feels like coming 'home' in a way as the artwork, solarium facing the river feels like an escape whilst being so accessible to everything. I love the neighborhood, the small businesses near by, the vibe of the house and history of the house in general and kindness of the owners keeps me coming back. I will plan another trip here later this year again. Thanks!

Perfect place for my quick trip to visit family nearby. Walking distance to food coop, coffee, restaurants. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Cool bathroom tiles. Spacious. Lots of good information in notebook left by Josh. Great communication. I will definitely look to stay here again when next in MInneapolis.

We had a wonderful stay at Nancy and Rick's place! We brought our toddler and our bikes and were able to get to every spot we wanted to from this perfect retreat. The home had lots of perfect extra touches that made it feel like a home away from home. We will definitely stay again next time we are back!

It is always a pleasure staying here when we're in town. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by many places you can walk to or is a short drive away. The apartment is spacious, clean, and very comfortable.

A great place. Cozy but spacious. Super clean. We didn’t arrive until after 10 PM, but Susan was fine with that.

Enjoyed our stay! Cozy and convenient for our family (my parents, my husband and myself) while in Minneapolis for our son’s graduation. Easy access to MSP Airport to pick up/drop off family, good restaurants nearby and easy to get to UMN campus area. The space was clean and comfortable. The backyard would have been wonderful to hangout in if the weather had cooperated. May in the Midwest is always an adventure. The neighborhood is beautiful!
