“We definitely hope to go back and would highly recommend Annie and the Back Water Bungalow to anyone looking for a secluded, serene river getaway! The location is gorgeous and lends it location for people who want some quiet time getting back to nature. You can relax at the Bungalow property, enjoy some area antiquing, or participate in favorite river sports.”

“Our family stayed here for one week and we made very good memories. We were able to catch several catfishes, striped bass and one walleye. The hosts were super kind. We once lost their anchor at sea and they bought a new one for us! And, they even taught us how to work the motorboat since it was our first time riding it. We recommend this to all families/friends (young couples, families with small children, just friends, etc.) The interior of the house was also special which made our vacation seem more like a vacation😊 Thank you!!”

“We loved our stay here. It was stylish and airy, all done up in a French Country style with fun decorative flourishes and exceptionally clean. That being said, the design of the space didn't overwhelm you, and my family all felt right at home. The kitchen was perfect for cooking our own meals and many of the essentials were provided. We traveled here during the COVID-19 crisis, and this property also met our needs in terms of social distance. It is out a ways into the country, and that is exactly what we wanted. Geographically, it is surrounded by beautiful farms and (in July) countless prairie flowers. The property surrounding the home is impeccably maintained as well. My daughter absolutely loved playing with the resident dog and cat -- both were quite charming and seemed very happy to have us there. I would love to stay here again someday!”
