We wanted a peaceful and restful getaway, but still close enough to things to do, and this location was perfect! We took days visiting VA Beach, the Chrysler Museum, a drive to Cape Charles, Williamsburg and Jamestown. The Ocean Pier, Craft Burger and Chicks had great food. Time at the bungalow was great, I sat on the deck with my morning coffee watching the sunrise and took walks along the quiet beach. I just loved how quiet it was there, as if the beach was ours! Michael was a great host, and responded quickly to any questions we had. Loved being able to do laundry before leaving. I too will suggest a more comfortable couch would be a great add to the place, but if that's my only complaint, then trust me, it's a great place! Can't wait to come back!

Felt like home away from home. A must stay.

Tarah is an amazing host - she was so responsive and helpful and her home is absolutely beautiful. We loved the patio, including the screened in porch. There were so many birds - it's an incredibly private and quiet location for being so close to the beach, hotels, restaurants, etc. The kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated being able to cook our meals there. Tarah's home is even more spacious and beautiful than the pictures in the listing. Thank you for a lovely stay. We've already booked two more stays!
