Our stay at the little house was great! The views from the balcony were unbelievable, area was quiet, peaceful and private. Kathi the host was a great help, giving recommendations for places and things to do. The entire place was clean, cosy and homely! Only little negative was that we heard noise from the rooms above later on in the evening when we were trying to sleep. However this can’t be helped.

Nestled into the stone of the mountain, this unique split-level house offered jaw-dropping views of Lake Como that we couldn’t get enough of. The location was perfect—just a short stroll to the charming town center, yet tucked away for a serene retreat. The house itself was a dream, blending rustic charm with modern, updated amenities that made our stay comfortable and luxurious. Everything was spotless, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed. The owner Jacky’s hospitality truly elevated the experience—she was warm, responsive, and incredibly welcoming. Jacky went above and beyond by stocking the kitchen with staples and greeting us with a chilled bottle of champagne, which was the perfect touch to kick off our trip. This place is an absolute gem, and we can’t recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for an unforgettable Lake Como escape.

We had a magical time at the Bloom Apartment! Truly the most thoughtful airBNB booking we have ever had. The attention to detail, stunning views, and charming location made the stay our best yet - it lives up to the hype! We did not regret renting a car; we resisted it until the last moment but got one at the airport, and though we were afraid to drive in Italy we had no issues. We DO recommend getting a small car as ours felt a bit too big to park comfortably in the garage (it was a mini Countryman) but an expert driver would have no problem. The treats left around the house were a delight, the local pizzeria had great views and food, and the medieval village was so fun to explore. We took the ferry from Argegno to bellaggio and varenna, and drove to Menaggio, so it was easy to go to the touristy spots, but nice to be staying in a place that felt more authentic. Mattia and his family were very responsive, and couldn’t be more gracious. We hope to be back!

This apartment is in a perfect location for a mid-lake visit to Lago di Como. It’s a few steps from the Lenno ferry stop, an easy boat ride and walk to Villa Carlotta and Villa del Balbaniello, respectively, and is situated right at the waters edge with jaw-dropping views of the lake and mountains from the living room, primary bedroom, and one bathroom. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We were met at the ferry and they were very flexible about a late check out. The maps and ferry schedule provided were helpful as well. The apartment is absolutely stunning. High ceilings, big windows, and elegant and sophisticated interior design. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were great. We appreciated many of the design choices, like the hideaway coffee machine and art complementing the furnishings. Lenno was quiet during our April stay and I imagine the experience could be different during high season. Regardless, we hope we can visit again. This is a very special place.

Valentina was our contact while we stayed in Limonta. She was the most friendly, kind, and responsive host we have ever known. She always went above and beyond what she had to. She gave us the most easy and helpful check-in information, checked in on us during our stay with great friendliness, and tipped us off to local experiences and restaurants to enhance our stay. The little home was private, peaceful, and with a fantastic terrace/view that we made the most of every day of our stay. We had such a nice little trip, and it will be looked back on fondly due to the special touch of Valentina!

We had a great time, Carlo and Irene are very friendly. Always available, they provide the best local recommendations! The setting was very peaceful, with a private terrace to enjoy the sun, not overlooked with a view of the hills and another of the botanical garden. All services are within walking distance and all activities are within an hour's drive (with beautiful scenery). I highly recommend this listing!

The place has a wonderful view of the lake. We could see the water from almost every rooms. The morning and evening views of the lake were magnificent. The location is good. An easy walk to town. Edo was thoughtful and accommodating. For those that have a difficult time with stairs, this place would not be suitable. Other than that everything is great.

There were three of us on vacation with a dog in this beautiful apartment and we couldn't have met it better. The apartment has a magnificent view and is in the sunshine from morning to evening. A cozy place with soul. Simply fantastically beautiful. Elisabetta & Mattia were great hosts, with great tips on the surroundings. We recovered superbly and had feelings of spring over New Year's Eve thanks to the great location & pure sun. Clear recommendation!

We very much enjoyed all the delicacies! Even with public transport its very reachable and Ivana is very friendly and helpful. We wouldn’t think twice about booking again.

A very lovely home and Enrico is a consummate host. Pictures don’t do this cozy spot justice. We really enjoyed our time here. The old wood stove offers a delightful aroma that fills the whole place and the village feels like stepping back in time. Kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. Our host helped us test the wifi speed in advance for our remote work trip and graciously left us a bottle of wine. The stairs are steep and not kid-friendly. We found them a bit tricky and you do have to traverse them like ladders to use the toilet. While reading reviews, we noticed comments about black mould in the shower and do encourage the host to take care of this. It doesn’t appear to be anything that some bleach and elbow grease can’t fix and there is a window in the shower, so it is well ventilation. We also note that the mattress upstairs is nice and firm, but sags in the middle, which was fine for our length of stay. We enjoyed our time and hope to be back again soon!

Alessandra's place is a great space very close to the ferry terminal and an easy walk to the main part of Varenna. Alessandra was a wonderful host and communicated in a very friendly and responsive way. Would highly recommend this place if you want to be in the central area of Lake Como. We loved our stay here.

There were plenty of places to eat and there is a great market around the corner. I absolutely recommend it! It would work well as a long term stay too.

We had a wonderful stay at this idyllic Airbnb in the mountains near Lake Lugano. The small Italian village exudes tranquility, perfect for switching off and relaxing. The surrounding nature with its mountains is breathtaking, and there are numerous opportunities for hikes and walks. The Airbnb itself is immaculately clean and cozy – a perfect place to get away from it all. If you are looking for peace, nature and Italian village idyll, this is the place to be. We will definitely be back!

We felt at home as soon as we arrived. A luminous space, very comfortable and clean, and with all we needed for our stay. There were also some welcoming home made pastries, which made our breakfast special. Perfect! Highly recommended.
