Our stay at the little house was great! The views from the balcony were unbelievable, area was quiet, peaceful and private. Kathi the host was a great help, giving recommendations for places and things to do. The entire place was clean, cosy and homely! Only little negative was that we heard noise from the rooms above later on in the evening when we were trying to sleep. However this can’t be helped.

Possibly the most wonderfully aromatic garden with jasmine. It was wonderful! The place was about a 20 min walk from the train station. Very walkable to town. The house is made of beautiful stone and was a non traditional layout. The down stairs was the kitchen. The next level was living room and bathroom then up a smaller spiral staircase the bedroom. It was so thoughtful for Jacky to leave us a bottle of Prosecco for our anniversary! There are steeper elevations and stairs so I recommend packing on the lighter side for ease of carrying luggage. Varenna was a fantastic location to train and catch the ferry to bellagio or other towns. Everyone was very nice and spoke English. Food was quite delicious as well. The kitchen is fully equipped for coffee or cooking as well.

Toller Aufenthalt – sehr empfehlenswert Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war genauso wie beschrieben und hatte unsere Erwartungen sogar übertroffen – sauber, gut ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich. Die Lage war der absolute hammer. Der Gastgeber war freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer schnell erreichbar bei Fragen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Die Lage ist einmalig und das Haus sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Kamin im Haus macht es zu einer gemütlichen kleinen Oase auch wenn es draussen kalt und regnerisch ist. Ein schnell reagierendes Heizsystem bringt sofort Wärme. Das Haus entspricht genau den Bilder und ist ein Traum. Der Gastgeber reagiert unmittelbar auf Anfragen. Der Checkin war problemlos und dass wir am Tag der Abreise ausnahmsweise etwas länger bleiben durften, damit ich meinen runden Geburtstag am Morgen noch feiern konnte haben wir ausserordentlich geschätzt! Ich kann das Haus nur empfehlen insbesondere auch als Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen. Einzig die Badewanne und das Schränkchen über dem Lavabo könnten ausgewechselt werden. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt und ich kann mir gut vorstellen, nochmals dort Zeit zu verbringen.

Die Wohnung war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage mit dem Pool ist sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind gut eingeteilt. Die Matratze war mir etwas zu weich, aber bequem. Das Stockbett für die Kinder war gut. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Der Pool und die Aussicht sind einmalig. Bei uns war es sehr windig, aber scheinbar ist das für diese Jahreszeit normal.

This apartment is in a perfect location for a mid-lake visit to Lago di Como. It’s a few steps from the Lenno ferry stop, an easy boat ride and walk to Villa Carlotta and Villa del Balbaniello, respectively, and is situated right at the waters edge with jaw-dropping views of the lake and mountains from the living room, primary bedroom, and one bathroom. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We were met at the ferry and they were very flexible about a late check out. The maps and ferry schedule provided were helpful as well. The apartment is absolutely stunning. High ceilings, big windows, and elegant and sophisticated interior design. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were great. We appreciated many of the design choices, like the hideaway coffee machine and art complementing the furnishings. Lenno was quiet during our April stay and I imagine the experience could be different during high season. Regardless, we hope we can visit again. This is a very special place.

Valentina was our contact while we stayed in Limonta. She was the most friendly, kind, and responsive host we have ever known. She always went above and beyond what she had to. She gave us the most easy and helpful check-in information, checked in on us during our stay with great friendliness, and tipped us off to local experiences and restaurants to enhance our stay. The little home was private, peaceful, and with a fantastic terrace/view that we made the most of every day of our stay. We had such a nice little trip, and it will be looked back on fondly due to the special touch of Valentina!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, Carlo et Irène sont très sympathiques. Toujours disponibles, ils mettent à disposition les bonnes adresses du coin ! La cadre était très paisible, avec une terrasse privée pour profiter du soleil, sans vis a vis avec une vue sur les collines et une autre sur le jardin botanique. Tous les services sont accessibles a pied et toutes les activités a moins d'une heure de route (avec de très beaux paysages). Je recommande vivement ce logement !

The place has a wonderful view of the lake. We could see the water from almost every rooms. The morning and evening views of the lake were magnificent. The location is good. An easy walk to town. Edo was thoughtful and accommodating. For those that have a difficult time with stairs, this place would not be suitable. Other than that everything is great.

If I could give the home (and Silvia) more than five stars I would. As beautiful as the view is in the pictures it doesn’t compare to being there in person. It is spectacularly beautiful. The rooms were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and Silvia was very responsive and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and look forward to visiting again in the future!

Silviu è stato gentilissimo e ha risposto a tutte le nostre esigenze, il posto era molto carino e fornito veramente di qualsiasi cosa, se devo proprio fare un piccolo appunto è sulla pulizia e l’ordine della zona esterna, ma anche in quel caso l’host è stato gentile e disponibile. L’alloggio inoltre è in un ottima zona e a piedi è raggiungibile facilmente tutto il necessario.

We were 4 adults and 3 children, and there was plenty of space and comfort for all of us. Located in a peaceful area with beautiful mountain views, it offered the perfect environment to relax and enjoy nature. Sofia was extremely kind, warm, and attentive throughout our entire stay, always available for anything we needed. Her hospitality made us feel right at home. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches and useful recommendations provided. Without a doubt, we would love to come back and stay again. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay in Mattia and Elisabetta’s little house, located in this charming, traditional village. The location is perfect for hikes with lake views, but also for a city getaway to Lugano. We loved going on excursions with our dog to see the many nearby waterfalls, and coming back at the end of the day as the villagers gathered in a friendly atmosphere (alongside the many cats!). The drive up will put your driving skills to the test, but don’t worry you quickly get used to it. The house is perfect—comfortable, safe, and very clean. Mattia checked in with us regularly to see how our stay was going and to share recommendations. A perfect stay in the kind of Italy you dream of and love!

Abbiamo passato 3 giorni a cavallo di capodanno 2025. Tre famiglie con bambini. Siamo stati benissimo. Lara ci ha accolto cordialmente al check-in e ci ha dato tutte le indicazioni per gestire al meglio la casa, compresi stufa, jacuzzi e tinozza finlandese. Ambienti puliti e completi di tutto. Cucina e bagni super accessoriati. Camere impeccabili e confortevoli. Vari giochi per bambini e libri per momenti di relax; disponibilità di Sky, Netflix e Disney+. Legna e barbecue a disposizione. Vista impagabile sul lago di Como da un versante e sulla montagna dall’altro lato. Posizione ottima: abbastanza isolati per stare tranquilli e non dare fastidio a nessuno ma comunque a 5 minuti dal centro del paese; a meno di 10 minuti abbiamo trovato un centro commerciale molto fornito. Esperienza davvero ottima e consigliata, da riprovare d’estate con la possibilità di utilizzare anche la piscina esterna. OTTIMO

Alessandra's place is a great space very close to the ferry terminal and an easy walk to the main part of Varenna. Alessandra was a wonderful host and communicated in a very friendly and responsive way. Would highly recommend this place if you want to be in the central area of Lake Como. We loved our stay here.

Great apartment in a great neighborhood. The apartment is large, cozy, well appointed and very quiet. Its a classic apartment. The location is perfect for getting around Milan. There were plenty of places to eat and there is a great market around the corner. I absolutely recommend it! It would work well as a long term stay too.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise für einen Zwischenstopp im Appartment. Der Check-in war super unkompliziert, die Kommunikation immer einfach. Das Appartment ist sehr zu empfehlen. Küche insgesamt sehr gut ausgestattet, ein gescheites Messer fehlte jedoch. Sonst hat alles gepasst. Pizzerias für ein Abendessen gab es im Umkreis von ein paar Kilometern genügend. Für "dicke" Autos ist die Einfahrt in den Hof vielleicht ein wenig eng.

Confermiamo il nostro parere positivo per la casa di Giorgio. Abbiamo già alloggiato in questa casa a novembre e abbiamo scelto di ritornare per la posizione dell' alloggio, è possibile raggiungere Milano in 30 minuti, e la facilità di parcheggiare e scaricare la macchina con i bambini. Alloggio pulitissimo e ordinato. In cucina è presente tutto ciò che serve per poter organizzare pranzo e cena. camere ampie e luminose. Non meno importante la reattività e la gentilezza degli host, sempre disponibili ad ogni richiesta e soprattutto velocissimi nella risposta. Se dovessimo avere bisogno di un alloggio in zona torneremo sicuramente, ormai una garanzia.

Sehr empfehlenswert! Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Die Kommunikation war super und die Lage ist gut Zentral mit Bahn und Bus vieles auch zu Fuß erreichbar. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt.
