Vacation rentals with lake access in Vaca Key

We spent an amazing week in the house of Kelly and Shane. The location on the waterfront is unbeatable and the house itself is super convenient, nicely remodeled and has a very cozy feel to it. We spent days in a row fishing from the dock, prepared our catch of the day on the bbq on the terrace, and caught shrimp at night which served as bait for the next day. There are great beaches, restaurants, and all kinds of day trips at hand if you wish to leave the property ;). Kelly and Shane are great hosts, with tons of tips - they clearly love the area and put great effort in the maintenance of the house and dock. They are super quick and easy in their communication and all three of us (me, husband and our 12 year old son) look forward to staying at their property again!

Victor was a lifesaver! When we couldn't get out of the Keys because wildfires had Highway 1 closed down, and there was not a single hotel room left in Key West, I quickly got on airbnb and found this lovely condo had a cancelation for the night. Victor responded very quickly and helped us get checked in for a very comfortable night after a 12-hour day of sitting on the highway in hopes of reaching Miami for our flight. This lovely condo offered us much-needed respite -- we were afraid we were facing hours of driving further back down the Keys only to find no rooms available. I wish we could have hung around and enjoyed more of the lovely grounds at this place!

Great place! Fun and funky condo. Norman easily accommodated our late check-in and -out. The location was perfect for our day trip to Key West!

We took our two small children on vacation here. It was such a perfect sized unit for our small family. There were beach towels, pool & beach toys for our kids, a scooter, etc. having the pool steps away was also so nice to have as an easy, close-by activity! Very very safe & friendly “neighbors”. They also had a pack n play. The only thing we wish they had was a highchair (kind of tricky with a 1 year old at a high top bar stool seating). But we knew that going into it! With it being a gated community, it felt very quiet and we often took strolls with the kids around the area and watched the sunset from the public patio by the water. There were grills to use, an outdoor shuffle board, & lots of fun local places to check out and/or eat at. We drove to key west a few days, which was just over an hour. Again, such a great location to be away from the hustle & bustle, but still be able to explore and check out all the neighboring keys as well. Benjamin was so helpful with any questions

This spot was great! The home is spacious, incredibly comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. It’s located at the very end of an inlet, offering a waterfront setting but I wouldn't call it picturesque. While we didn’t have a boat, it looked like getting one in and out would be easy for an experienced boater. The house was spotless—you can tell a lot of care goes into keeping it clean. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, with soft sheets that made for a great night’s sleep. Everything related to rest and relaxation was truly top-notch. The home is well-stocked with basic necessities for living, though if you have specific cooking preferences or comfort items, you should make a quick trip to the store. The neighborhood is very quiet, with the exception of some occasional noise from the nearby airport—but that’s just part of being in Marathon. Parking was easy, the pool was great, and everything matched the description perfectly. We highly recommend

This Air BnB has many positive highlights! It is a beautiful home with everything you would need for a vacation house. The house is located in a great spot to get to many different food areas and activities! We had the best view of ocean. From the moment I booked Nick was very helpful for everything we needed, he was incredibly responsive! Thank you for making this trip memorable!

Manny’s place is awesome for an active family. A little pricey but with SUPs, bikes, kayaks and light fishing gear it was well worth the price. We highly enjoyed our time on the canal and proximity to Sombrero beach was awesome. Great trip all around.

the home known as Islandville was amazing, and both Monica and Roly were superb hosts. From the initial booking to final checkout, they were super responsive and super helpful. The home was perfect for our group of 5 and had every amenity you could possibly need. We used the kayaks, paddleboards, bikes, and hot tub daily and the dock was awesome for a 3 day boat rental. We were greeted by a sweet gift of Key lime pie, local chips and salsa, and champagne. On top of that I had inquired about the dock light and they had a handyman there that week to repair and install a new one! I can't say enough about our time in Marathon. The only issue was that our time went by way too fast! If you have any questions about whether you should book this home for an amazing Keys vacation... I'll make it easy and answer yes for you. Phil’s place was phenomenal. Exactly as described and had so many extra features. The kayaks, snorkel gear, pool toys, and well appointed amenities were fantastic. Would stay here again. The serenity of the balcony upstairs at night listening to the fish in the lagoon jumping was so relaxing!

We had a great time! The condo was in a perfect spot in the complex - right by the pool and lagoon, super easy to get in and out. We love the Florida Keys! This was our first time staying in Key Largo! We normally stay a bit more south … but we loved this area - lots to do! Patricia was responsive and had lots of supplies to help us conveniently with laundry and showers! Beds were incredibly comfy! And we had 3 kiddos, so the 3 different bed options were perfect! We would definitely stay again!

We visited Key Largo with another family to attend a swim meet in Islamorada. Rich was an outstanding host! Gave clear directions for check-in/check-out and was quick to respond to all of our questions. The townhouse is in a gated community, so there is some added privacy and security. A small rocky beach and a jetty close by make for a nice place to view the sunrise. There are multiple restaurants and stores within a few-minute drive from the place to grab a quick bite to eat or get supplies. We loved that the place had multiple levels with plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and relax after spending a long day in the sun. Definitely worth the trip and we'll be back for sure!

The place was exactly as pictured over looking the marina. The fire pits water side were very nice. The property is very walkable for morning and evening walks. Hot water was a problem when we arrived, limited hot water in kitchen And bathrooms. Maintenance came and turned water temp up. Golf cart did not work upon arrival. We were given a different cart the day before we were to leave, so used it once. I would think if carts are offered and paying for them within the nightly fee, they should make sure they work. The place is a good home base. Angela was very responsive to problems .Thank you for that. Yes, I would stay again and enjoy the pools !

We had a great Spring Break stay at Kawama Yacht Club. Rich's property was perfect for our family of 4. Plenty of room for all of us. Easy to find, easy to get in and out, easy to make yourself at home. Plenty to do with the lagoon, multiple pools, pickle/tennis courts, and the pier. The lagoon is a special feature with the kayaks, multiple floating platforms, and filled with tons of fish. Also convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. We had a great time.

Great location for our party of five to access our dive shop. Lots of stores and a restaurants nearby. Enjoyed sitting at the jetty and enjoying the water view and nice breeze.
